loved the breakfast at this small hotel. super to my taste:) lots of bread and cheese choices and more health options. the room was a bit small and looked at the parking spot but had a bath tub which was lovely to relax after a long day's walk in the snow:) the location was convenient-just a 5' walk from the train station, although you needed 20' walk to marietplatz. very friendly staff-helped us with every single query we had!!! a bonus was the free coffee machine in the lobby for free refill any time you wished.

didn't like the area outside the hotel that had many homeless people. the fact that they don't clean the room every day was weird but you could get fresh towels if you wanted from a station in the upper floors. the pillows were too soft for my taste and i could barely sleep.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, e.g. providing advice on local restaurants to guests. The free coffee and tea machine in the lobby was also a bonus and the breakfast was (as commented on in other reviews) excellent, with a great selection of fresh breads, cake, cheeses etc. Room was clean and had everything needed for a short stay. Location is ideal - 10 minutes from station and short walk into the 'old town' area.

Room was quite compact and overlooked service yard, which was a little noisy during the day. The corridor areas looked a bit tired, but nothing that impacted on our stay.

Breakfast was very good, but more expensive than typical (about 22 Euros, iI think). See below of mention of great Kurdish restaurant just across street from hotel.

Mixed feelings about location. I walked from train station once, and you can walk to downtown (maybe 20 minutes?) I also used Uber a couple of other times to get around. The neighborhood for several blocks around the hotel is comprised heavily of Kurdish restaurants, shops, etc., so you don't really get the feel that you are in Germany right there. But I never felt unsafe walking around there, and one night I had a wonderful dinner in the Kurdish restaurant directly across the street (can't recall the name). I was the only European person eating there at that time, but the waiter spoke good English and the menu had everything listed in German and English. Highly recommended!

The staff and the included breakfasts were outstanding. The staff was very friendly and professional looking to help in any way that they could. The daily breakfast buffet also was outstanding and offered an excellent variety, The ladies that worked there were very friendly and helpful. They strove to meet your every request. There were quite a few very good restaurants within short walking distance of the hotel.

The rooms were very clean but small. The staff was very helpful. The location was different than expected with mostly middle eastern immigrants all around.

Renovated, Excellent staff, excellent breakfast, nice breakfast room, confort rooms, we got a free upgrade! Just 5 minute walk from the central train station. We got fresh towels whenever we wanted ( we just got once in a three night stay).

The area is not so nice ... Not that i felt any danger but i wasnt feeling happy walking through stange faces....its the usual neighbourhood near a big city's central train station. Also those of you interested in booking note that there is no daily cleaning in the room..you can take whatever you want from a station located in two different floors ( fresh towels, toilet paper) but in order to get the room cleaned you have to ask for it

Room was nice, if a bit small, and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, but more expensive than typical (about $22 (or euros?) Hotel is about a 20 minute walk from nearest train station. Neighborhood is primairly Kurdish people and their restaurants and shops, but it always felt safe to me. I ate at the Kurdish restaurant directly across the street from the hotel (sorry, can't recall the name) but it was excellent. I had the chicken Kabob -- delicious and only about 17 Euros. Very popular with local people, reafirming that old addage: when traveling, eat where the local people eat, not where the tourists eat (indeed, I was the only European person in there!).

Minor: the address is a bit confusing. If I recall correctly, the actual entrance is just around the cornerr from the hotel's street address.

The hotel is clean and modern, with comfortable beds and well-maintained rooms. The shower was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We also really appreciated the unlimited free coffee, tea, and water. The small lobby is a nice spot to hang out and relax.

The hotel itself was fine, but the surrounding area was disappointing. The neighborhood feels like it’s going downhill, with many kebab shops, odd little stores, and a few strip clubs. When we arrived in the evening, there were a lot of men hanging around on the streets, and we were even approached and asked in German if we “needed anything.” During the day it was calmer, but the same vibe remained. While it didn’t feel truly unsafe for women, the area is definitely heading in the wrong direction and felt monotonous and unwelcoming. The breakfast was expensive, but there is good options within few minutes walk.

The Mirabell is a good 1 night stay near Hauptbanhof, clean and comfy. It was somewhat pricier by 30 euro than nearby choices we have stayed in past and we wanted to give other hotels a try as we fly in and out of Munich a couple times a year. The desk stated on checkin that we were in a premium room on 6th (top) floor. It was spacious enough with terraced rooftop.Breackfast is excellent.

Shaggy plush carpeting felt dated, we prefer flooring. The terrace while a nice option had views of 8 construction cranes in immediate vicinity which hotel has no control over.Room interior was quiet but street noise/construction was intrusive with windows open making teŕrace unuseable.Area is a little busy/sketchy for my liking.I had a second night booked on return but decided to switch out and keep search going as previous hotels nearby were a better fit/option.

Our flight was late, but the reception staff made checking in after hours very easy. They also held our luggage for us during a weekend trip to Vienna, which was a relief not to carry it around. Breakfast was expensive, but extremely good, with ingredients that were a step above what such buffets usually have. It was on a typical noisy train station street, but the hotel itself felt very secure and safe.

The room was really tiny - difficult for 2 people to navigate, and almost nowhere to put toiletries or things outside one's suitcase. The lady overseeing breakfast was really strict! If you had one thing out of place, she was on you, and she stood near the buffet and just watched everybody having breakfast with a frown. It wasn't terrible, but it was kind of unnerving.

- Very close to the main train station, easy to get to. - Check-experience was lovely: the employee at the desk was warm, welcoming and very informative. He enabled us to check in to our room early and highlighted the free tea and coffee station in the reception area for us to enjoy while we waited. - The room was a very good size, with soundproof windows, a nice and comfortable, large bed, and also a great bath. - The facilities in the room were sufficient and well appreciated, even for one night - a TV, a mini fridge, plenty of hangers. - We really enjoyed the breakfast, which really surpassed our expectations; there was a juicer and fruits/vegetables for guests to make their own juice, plenty of hot and cold options, delicious bread rolls, plenty of alternative milk options (oat, soya) as well as yoghurt options.

There was nothing negative about this place. If I had to find two small things, it would be that the tea and coffee station was located on the ground floor in reception, and not individual tea/coffee stations in the rooms and that there were no alternative milk options there (although I didn't ask in reception, but I'm sure they could've provided).
