The room was nice, comfortable and spacious, as was the bathroom and the view. I used the spa, which was a great experience.

For a 4 star exclusive hotel, the amenities weren't maintained as such. I used the yacuzzi and there was a leak in the bathroom. The pressure of the shower wasn't great and it was hard to maintain a good water temperature. The sofas smelled a little bit moldy, like if they weren't well maintained either.. Lastly, a day after my departure I was charged again for my minibar consumptions, while I actually had paid for them at check out...nobody checks?? Not proper of 4 star service..

Excellent location and views of the sea and beach. Close to everything. Yes swimming pool is shaded alot of the time but that worked for my kids and limited their UV exposure. It would be better if heated though. Room service good. Recommend the hotels dinner and rock event as you get dinner by the pool with night time views of the beach and the santa barbara castle mountain all lit up plus the night time sea.

Breakfast quality could be improved. Pastries were not fresh. Hot breakfast can be a little greasy. Latte not good.

We stayed in a Premium King Room with a Seaview. The view was amazing. Room very comfortable. The bed was a bit hard the 1st night, but I asked if a mattress topper could be provided and we had it for our 4 remaining nights.....slept very comfortably 😀 Excellent Breakfast provided....Great choice of all foods, and the breakfast room had beautiful views out to sea.....Fabulous way to start the day

There is construction works ongoing at the moment just outside our balcony. This impacted sitting out reading a book during the day or even leaving the balcony door opened to listen to the sea. All we could hear until 6pm each evening is the constant beeping of the mobile lift going up and down ALL day......got really annoying 😑

Very good location, right at the beach, and not far from city center, casino and all facilities Big and extremely comfortable bed, nice sea view and high quality cosmetics in bathroom. Nice breakfast

For such a price, the hotel could provide a free parking for guests. Also, we have been a bit annoyed by the noise produced by the doors. Cheap rubber strip around the door might easily solve this problem and help guests to feel much better while sleeping instead of listening to slamming doors

Great experience for us - the location right next to Postiguet beach. the old city, the harbour and passeo - everything is right there. The view from our room was great, facing the sea and hearing the sound of the waves. The room was spacious, medium-equipped, very nice overall and clean. They tidy the room everyday. The breakfast was very good, a lot of variety of food, both local and international.

The room feels a little old and heavy-used so some renovations would be necessary. Also for the price level I would expect it to be better equipped - simple stuff like slippers, bathrobes, vanity sets, toothbrush, etc. were missing. Another flaw was that you could hear everything in the room, the hallway was very noisy, no soundproof at all. When we visited there were some renovations going on so the spa was not working.

I recently stayed at Meliá Alicante for two nights and chose a premium room at The Level—and I couldn’t have been more pleased with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, creating such a positive and welcoming atmosphere. The room was spotless, with great attention to detail, making my stay incredibly comfortable and relaxing. The selection of complimentary snacks was a nice touch, and the breakfast variety was excellent, catering to different tastes. The entire hotel exuded a calm and sophisticated ambiance, perfect for unwinding. The location of the hotel is the best in my opinion, with the marina on one side and the beach on the other, overlooked by Castillo de Santa Barbera.

Unfortunately, the infinity pool was under maintenance, which was a slight disappointment, as I was looking forward to using it. However, everything else more than made up for it.

We loved the ambience, the staff, food and location. The hotel is beautiful, the location is amazing, the shower is perfect and the beds are very comfortable. My teenage sons LOVED the food. So much choice both for breakfast and dinner - absolutely delicious! We checked out after 3-nights to go to another hotel with splash pool slides and our sons begged to go back to Melia Alicante. During our stay at Melia, we did the Alicante city & bike tour, visited Mundomar Zoo and also Santa Barbara Castle. Melia hotel is walking distance to the old town. The beautiful colourful houses are a must see. The area is very safe, people are friendly and we would highly recommend Melia for couples, families and even solo travellers. We all Loved our stay at Melia Alicante.

The facilities were clean and the room was very spacious. Most of the staff was very kind, specially the Sir from room service and the concierges. Good location and very beautiful view. Good breakfast.

The only part of the staff that was not great were the receptionists. Of course it’s not all of them, but some could do a better job with the gests. The fact that there is no parking can be challenging so be aware of that. Also the gym is small, if there is more than 2 other people it’s already going to feel crowded.

Clean modern well located

No parking for hotel guests. The second swimming pool pictured in the advert was not clearly labelled as not accessible to ordinary guests. The tone of the reception explaining that access could only be bought with a hotel room upgrade. This two tier system should be clearly labelled and such a labelling should become standard for all hotels with this pricing structure. False advertising or misleading advertising should not be allowed. We arrived thinking we had access to all pool areas and sun lounger areas. So the information at time of booking was incorrect.
