Loved the rooftop bar, the beautiful social areas on the ground floor. Liked the fact we could walk into the old town as well as the arts and sciences area. Loved being so close to the Turia gardens and great bus transport links to other areas. Rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. Good breakfast with lovely coffee and traditional Valencian pastries and cakes alongside hot and cold buffet.

Shower temperature fluctuated hot to cold while using it. Beds were a bit hard but hotel provided mattress toppers. Street noise and rooms not soundproofed so could hear loud music from room next door. Breakfast room is a bit small and cramped especially over the weekend when it was hard to find a table.

Great location within walking distance of the main city shops & restaurants and also the city of the arts & sciences. Lovely spacious rooms. The hotel also gave us free bottles of water every day which was very much appreciated!

The pool area is a little small for the amount of guests however, we booked this as a short city break (not intending to sunbathe everyday) so the pool was fine for us. The pool area would be even better if you could order food to it. Take note, the lunch menu on the terrace is also very Spanish and not varied so not good for picky eaters if you are wishing to eat at the hotel.

The hotel was adequate, the room was clean and tidy, with a good view of the city. The check in process was straight forward and quick, staff were polite and friendly.

I wouldn't say the overall experience was one of a 5 star hotel, more an average 4. The constant noise of sirens throughout the night and early morning was disturbing, but that may have been a result of the disaster in Valencia the week before. The feeling of the hotel was more business than traveller from a visitor perspective.

I loved everything about this hotel - it’s not often we get such a great experience.

Nothing to complain about

Perfect experience from the moment of check-in and onwards. Very friendly and professional staff (all of whom could speak perfect English). The room was spacious, clean and definitely a five star standard. We enjoyed the varied breakfast each morning - in a comfortable, clean environment. A great location for us, as it was close to the race start of the Valencia Half Marathon (we enjoyed the 'marathon' buffet in the hotel on the evening before the race). Close to main road, but still very quiet and in a very safe neightbourhood - close to transport and the park

The hotel is well positioned for easy access to the city and beach. It’s beautifully decorated and so much attention is given to the finer details (cold Water in reception as an example). The rooms are a bit dated but spacious and comfortable. The staff were exceptional. From the front deskt to the housekeeping teams. Generous breakfast buffet too, and the rooftop restaurant had a really delicious looking menu. We used the spa facilities which were very luxurious and the pool was very welcome to cool off in at the end of the day.

The rooms were nice and clean. We loved the hats we received upon arrival (Photo attached) lol. The staff upon our arrival was very kind and helpful!

We didn't like that there was a restaurant we could eat at but only in our room during midday. So we had to leave the pool to go sit in our room order room service to eat. There was also confusion regarding if there were snacks served in the lovely bar, downstairs in the front. Lastly, the restaurant was beautiful upstairs but we never really liked the food we received. The salmon fillet was seared but almost totally raw inside. The chicken was dry and tasteless. The calamari was also tasteless, no flavor at all. But our two servers were so nice and fun we never complained. We really enjoyed them. But no one asked anything in regards to why all of our food was left uneaten. The ambiance and waitstaff saved the experience for us for sure!

Very good facilities, room was spacious and clean. Big bathroom and shower. Great location for walking through the city, besutifuk park across the road. Reception staff were friendly and happy to assist. Able to offer twin rooms for a girls trip.

Disappointed that the rooftop bar wasn't open when we arrived and we were told it might be open later during our stay. We had chosen the hotel for the bar and pool which was also much smaller than expected and always busy. Little things would have gone a long way - called down to reception and asked the bar to have glasses and borrow a bottle opener and ice to have a drink in the room which was not met with a pleasant response and noone came to bring us one. Also for a 5 star, there was little amenities, kettle and basic tea and coffee. No coffee machine.

I liked the room layout, very spacious, bathroom separated from room by two sets of doors, so good for privacy. Lovely view. Staff were generaly friendly/helpful, and the breakfast was good, On the other hand: There is a distinct sewage smell coming into the bathroom and room, most likely from the waste pipes. While the bathroom was very well cleaned, the bedsheets were unfortunatley not. The AC started making a loud rattling noise the second day we were there, The wi-fi really doesn't work inside the room. The "Business centre" is situated in the open reception hall, so not great for trying to get work done or do online meetings. In-room safe was broken too, and the window curtains are not black-out. All a bit surprising in a 5* hotel.
