I stayed at the hostel while attending Way Out West and it was really convenient to take a direct tram to the Slottsskogen (the tram stop was 5-7 min walk from the hostel). Everything (including the shared showers) was incredibly clean, which was a really pleasant surprise for me. The kitchen was also clean and had a lot of space. The beds were comfortable, the room lockers closed with a key and were big enough for all of my stuff + backpack, both bed linen and towel were included in the price. All staff was friendly and hospitable. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Göteborg.

The hotel and its facilities were excellent, and the rooms were maintained in very good condition—everything was clean and well-kept. The breakfast is convenient if you just want something quick like a sandwich or a cup of coffee or tea before starting your day. It's also great that you can make yourself a tea or coffee anytime after coming back from exploring Gothenburg. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is also a big plus—close to the station with easy access to buses and trams going to different parts of the city and the region.

Although the hotel provides a solution for guests arriving when the reception is unattended, I think it would be better if the reception had staff available for more hours. It's not just about check-in or check-out—having someone there would also be helpful for tourists who might need tips or suggestions about things to do in Gothenburg.

This is a bit like a hostirl except there are private rooms and shared bathrooms. There were plenty of bathrooms for everyone and it was definitely a family business, a little creative practicality and putting rooms together in a fairly down-to-earth way,,but also comfortable! They had a roomy kitchen with good cooking equipment and there were travelers from all over the world. If you want to see a part of this city that isn't just a tourist area, this is a really interesting International neighborhood with people from every corner of the globe, and really nice local neighborhood International restaurants and cool little shops. It is a typical Swedish residential area not a tourist attraction, so if you really want to see how people live day to day in this part of the world, I think it's a great place to check out.

I can't think of anything I didn't like! But be aware this isn't a high-end Hotel, it's really just a step above a hostel. Very clean and very friendly, but more a travel stop than a hotel. I guess the only other thing I would say is that the trolley is up a pretty steep flight of stairs. So maybe if you walk with canes or something, as I sometimes do that can be a little challenging! But I managed it :-)

Quiet, helpful pleasant staff, comfy enough, decent enough stay without being mind blowing. Cheapest I could find last minute in Gothenburg.

Location is a bit of a pain, crossing the river in Gothenburg isn’t a case of walking over a bridge, it’s big! Makes popping back not so easy as you’ll probably spend more time on the other side. Showers a bit far from room but not end of world. No covers on bed a bit unusual though these are provided it’s better to have it done for you

The location of the hostel was surprisingly good, easily accessible by many trams and buses. The hostel is located on a nice square with benches and a playground, and there is a large grocery store just across the square, which is very handy if you plan to cook. If not, we can recommend Mr Tomato restaurant just around the corner. The hostel was clean and quiet and both the family rooms we booked and the shared kitchen were nice and well equipped. At the time we booked it was the best offer in town and we were happy with our choice, so we can definitely recommend it. We also met only friendly people and had some nice kitchen chats. Also large towels, good window coverings, seating in the room.

The only thing we were not happy about was the very soft double-bed, which was not suitable for an adult person to sleep on (We are a couple of normal size), so we swapped with our children and slept on a bunkbed instead. These beds were very comfortable. A small wardrobe or shelf in the room would also be useful.

Clean, comfortable room with separate room for the kids. Well equipped kitchen with free coffee, oven, freezer... Playground and supermarket right across the hostel, well connected to other city areas with trams close by.

No door to the kids bedroom, ground floor rooms are difficult to air the room safely, room access from the lobby (understandable once understood the small size of the property), mostly alone in the kitchen at breakfast and dinner time.

Booking a hostel I expected a common shared showers/toilets but they have individual ones — which was a bonus! Facilities were clean and they even provided towels.

Not a dealbreaker but keep in mind the location can be a little far on foot from the city centre. Voi is a good option apart from busses and trams as they have cycle lanes everywhere.

Was so clean and modern, the kitchen area was well equipped and the staff where amazing. On one of the nights I had the whole dorm to myself. Amazing I would highly recommend and stay there again if I’m back in Gothenburg. Located in a lovely area close to shops and a few restaurants. Close to a really good view point overlooking the city. Overall an amazing hostel one of the best I’ve been to (and I’ve been to loads). Comfy beds and really clean showers and toilets. Staff were amazing !!!!

The price for the single room was the main reason to stay, as also facilities like kitchen, ability to buy or cook breakfast etc. The room was good and simple, common kitchen has everything you need, water in showers was surprisingly hot:)

The most minus for me was location- too far for walking distance from city centre, which was inconvenient for late returning to it (only by tram or bus)

The staff was friendly and helpful, both regarding the stay at the hostel and general advice. The room had everything I needed for a short stay and the linen/towels were included in the price. Check-in and check-out were smooth and quick and the whole hostel was generally clean. Would recommend it to most people!

Slightly inconvenient location if you're on foot and maybe slightly poor sound isolation.
