Location is few minutes walk away from Ximen district. Lounge area has computers with internet and TV. Microwave and fridge, free water, dishes.

All the rooms are connected to the shared space, lounge area. If the TV is on by your room, you will hear it. Same as for people talking. Not a big deal if you sleep late or use earplugs. There are people who live there long term socializing every night. their loud conversations can last over an hour. I had to leave the hostel just to get some quiet time, but it doesnt last.

The hostel is inside of something like a shopping mall, to find it you have to look for a big 51 outside on the upper wall. The triple bunk beds are impressive to see, beds are huge and there is enough space by the bed to place one medium size backpack. There is also a small locker on the side. The common area is huge and there are also a fridge and a water dispenser. Staff always present and ready to help.

Toilets are outside of the hostel and I couldn’t be bothered to wake up at night to go outside, but I think I am just lazy. Showers area was always full of hair everywhere in front of the sink. We had to leave the big luggage outside of the bed room otherwise there would not be enough room to walk inside. Aircon sometimes too high at nights.

I liked how convenient it is to places and sights in Central Taipei. The staff are also very helpful and nice. They all speak English. The dorm bedding is comfy and smells nice. The air-conditioning is at the perfect temperature. The other guests are respectfully quiet inside the room. I like how they have items like mini and big towels for rent. The bathrooms have free body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Overall, I had a pretty awesome stay.

The bathroom sinks and floor could use a little more cleaning but it's tolerable.

Location cannot be beat, candies were nice and bed mattresses were quite comfortable.

If they put you on the third bunk high you are in for a rough time. People leave their lights on constantly and snore very loudly. Technically not the hostels fault on that one, but still very annoying. Wifi is absolutely atrocious, five networks and all of them are without internet? And I really do not understand why they could not just put toilet paper in the bathrooms shelves as opposed to sticking it in the common area? I don't know.

Angels Hostel is my favorite hostel on the planet! The staff are absolutely friendly, and I loved the chocolates and candies they offer. The beds are wonderful — very comfortable, clean, and smell great! The privacy curtains add a nice touch, and the rooms are well-ventilated and spacious. It's conveniently located near the MRT and bus stations, right in the heart of the city's best area. I’ve also met the most amazing people here, both locals and travelers. 🙏🏼🤗❤️

Relatively good quality for a low price. Good location - at the city center. Facilities are ok - access to a fridge, water dispenser, lockers etc. The staff speaks English fluently.

3-storey beds. It's not comfortable to climb every night to the highest level. I don't like also the toilet separated from the rest of the hostel and no toilet paper inside (you have to take it from the corridor).

The location is great, near ximen station & quite a walk to taipei main station, there's a bus stop near hostel too. The bed is really thick you can sleep well on it. There's staff til 12mid if you'll checkin late. There's a lot of food & cafes around the hostel. a lot of toilet & shower room is separate, though the toilet is outside but manageable. The common area is also good spot to chill. I like that the staff will show you around for their amenities.

Hope they could upgrade the curtains & also the stairs in the room is made of like steel, it would be good if they could change it into wood. Because the stomping of feet is really loud. Tissue paper in the toilet always runs out.

Out of the places I stayed in Taiwan this one was my favorite. Not because the hostel itself is something super special but the people there are super nice, some of them stay there longer term. From the second you check in they are friendly and greet you and are up for a chat. It seems like there is always something going on.

Would probably not hurt to have less people in a room and allow for some more luggage space

Great location and wonderful staff - didn't use the kitchen area so can't comment on it. Bring hangers if you need to hang clothes.

The bathroom is outside of the hostel. It is shared with other businesses in the building and can be extremely dirty at times, especially after lunch and dinner as people are not always considerate of others with leftover food.
