Staff were very kind and helpful, both at front desk and at the cafeteria. The breakfast meal included with my booking had a variety of foods - white bread, congee, egg, radish cakes, vegetables, meats, and fruits. They also had free snacks and cup noodles available. I had a private bathroom and they offered to service the room every three days (which I didn’t take them up on). This place is as good as it gets for value and cost.

A little rundown. I found out my bedsheets looked really dirty the first night before I slept in the bed. Make sure to inspect before use. They were swift with amending the issue and had bedsheets available for me within 15 minutes (I asked to change it myself).

We really liked this hotel for a number of reasons; the bed is firm but that is what we like so we didn't have any issue with it. Remember to ask for extra pillows as the room only comes with one each, the staff were happy to accommodate this. The room we had was plenty big enough, even though the bed does take up a large amount of the space. It was clean and tidy. The shower has amazing pressure, and there were plenty of hooks to hang everything on. Considering the location of the hotel, it was very quiet there. The lifts are slow, but it is a shared building and there are a lot of people coming and going. You may need to add a couple more minutes to you schedule if you are concerned about this. The staff were all very helpful and spoke English well enough for us to understand. Definitely ask for a map of the local area when you get there, I wish this was offered to us initially but after a couple of days we got given one when we enquired about finding a particular thing. The location is excellent to be able to easily get around Taipei. The breakfast options are substantial, and you can still eat toast, muesli and cornflakes if you are looking for Western food. Overall, we had a great 6 nights here and would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to others.

Breakfast is good with a good variety. Common rec areas are quite comfortable and nice. Coin operated washer and dryer were convenient. Room was clean and comfortable.

Hotel is hard to find. There seem to be three or four different names for the hotel, and it is set in a building which has other hotels and businesses. There is no sign outside, so you basically have to be walking at the right angle to see (one of) the names through the glass door painted on the wall. Elevator traffic can be heavy around breakfast time.

I picked this hotel out of other options because of the location, services I knew I would use, and because the staff knows English. I used the airport shuttle to go to Taoyuan Airport, used the luggage storage room, and arranging all of those services just through talking to the staff was extremely easy and convenient. I was shocked to see how smoothly it all went. This hotel is within walking distance from Taipei Main Station, which is why I considered it, but it is within even closer walking distance from NTU Hospital station, which made my solo travels even more convenient than I expected. This hotel is located next to restaurants and chains, and really close to the bank where I converted my foreign currency to Taiwan currency. I ate breakfast in the hotel every morning, and it is safe to stay in, with security at the ground level, and more. I was extremely pleased with my stay.

The one thing that could be improved is at the provided hotel breakfast. I think each dish should be labeled, noting if something contains meat, and what kind of meat, and which items are vegetarian (with additional labels of containing eggs or milk) for those who are vegetarian. Some of the meat dishes are labeled, but others that contain meat (at least, I think) are not labeled at all. Other hotels in Taiwan have a vegetarian section, where everything in that section is vegetarian, but there is no clear division on that at this hotel. I would highly encourage for this change to be integrated. I know it would be more complicated, since some of the main breakfast dishes vary, but I think it would be a kind gesture for those who do not eat meat.

Location is walking distance to most interesting spots. It's very close to ximending night market. Also walking distance from the taipei main station. You can easily roam around the neighborhood and be surprised for new discoveries. Hotel also offered snacks to guests 24/7. It's especially useful if you arrived in the middle of the night and is very tired to go out for a meal.

Breakfast was the same daily; they could add an egg and/or sausage considering there's bread/toast 2 pillows per person staying in the room would be more comfortable instead of just 1. We requested for the additional pillows and they provided

Good location, walkable to two different metro lines and to the main station. Laundry available for 30 TWD and dryer for 50 TWD. Helpful staff. Good wifi. Free snacks and noodles in the lobby.

Small room, just enough to open my luggage on the floor. Elevators was slow. Only cleaning every 3 days so you have to throw your own garbage by the elevators if you have a lot. No soap but you can use the shampoo. The cord to the electric kettle was very short so had to put the kettle on something was it could stand while plugged in.

The room was smelly, probably because of a gutter fallen dry. No way to get the smell out since the windows can't be opened. Although it was only 18 degrees outside maximum, the AC in the breakfast room was blasting away. Guests were requested to clean their tables while the staff was busy checking their phones. The coffee machine was out of order during our five-day stay, and it was obviously do since quite some time already. When asked for a solution, we were told to find a 7 eleven. All that would be acceptable in a youth hostel. Not so in a supposedly three-star hotel. Which was not cheap, either.

This is an aesthetic hotel. They have free flow snacks that you can take from level B1. It is so close with Ximen MRT, Taipei Main Station, Ntu Hospital Mrt and one more I couldnt remember. So easy to come here from airport just have to walk about 20 minutes. The pathway is so convenient for people with luggages and stroller. The room is so comfortable and the bathroom is big. I just love this hotel plus point it has playground and laundry area too. Dont worry about food, nearby there are 2 halal restaurants if you are muslim, and if you are not just choose any restaurant nearby.

A fantastic quirky hotel right in downtown Taipei. It is situated close to the main station and MRT access on several lines. It is also a ten minute walk to the Ximending pedestrian shopping area and close to the peace park. Breakfast was exceptional with plenty of delicious Taiwanese food to try. The hotel also provides free noodles and snacks, which was a lifesaver on busy days. The room was clean and comfortable.

The rooms are small and have no windows, but this is the standard in downtown Taipei, where larger rooms and rooms with windows are very expensive.

Amazing location and even better service. The staff were absolutely wonderful, so polite, friendly, and genuinely accommodating. Was really touched when they surprised me with a gift upon convo in bc they noticed it was my birthday during my stay. Such a thoughtful gesture. The daily complimentary snacks and noodle cups were a great bonus, and the breakfast spread exceeded expectations with plenty of variety.

The pillow wasn’t very comfortable, and while the cleanliness was generally okay, there’s definitely room for improvement.
