Our stay at Asteria Cave Hotel was absolutely fantastic. We booked two rooms for two couples online from the UK, with Jacuzzi and a view, and the hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Location: Perfectly situated for stunning views, including both sunrise and sunset. The location is ideal for exploring and capturing the beauty of the surroundings. Room: Spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed rooms with in-suite Jacuzzis – perfect for couples looking to relax in style. The tea table, cushioned chairs, and soft lighting made it even cozier. Balcony: Simply wow! The views in the morning and evening were breathtaking, making it a perfect spot to unwind and take in the scenery. Staff: The staff were incredible. They were friendly, responsive, and eager to assist with everything. I contacted them via WhatsApp for assistance, and they always responded quickly. They helped us book transportation, a camel ride, and gave us great local travel tips and recommendations for exploring places like Poerty Avenos. Food: The breakfast was clean, delicious, and varied with at least 6-7 foods , including fresh salads and four different types of cheese. A great way to start the day! Hospitality: Ahmet, was amazing – always available and very kind. Sofialso incredibly friendly and helpful. Their attention to detail and genuine care for guests made our stay even more enjoyable.

What a great location, right up near the sunset view point , also a great view from the bedrooms of the sunrise hot air balloons floating across the Goreme valley. There are great restaurants cafes & bars. Authentic local family run the hotel, the breakfast is huge & great kept me going until dinner 3x of cheeses olives salad eggs, cakes wow! Fresh bread dips…. Wow! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place great value for money.. its sits in an area of establishments twice the price & up.

Double check in the pics that the cave room you book has windows, there is only one I believe withou, which I accidentally booked. However the hosts were really accommodating & gave me a room with windows as I’d prefer. Just a note that the standard room was still very lovely atmospheric, nicely decorated as per the other rooms & equally as comfortable, I just like to have a window to open! Perhaps the hotel could specify this in the listing to save any confusion.

We had an amazing time! from the lodging, cuisine, and service! Sam, one of the employees, was very kind and helpful during our stay! He possessed extensive knowledge and effectively addressed our inquiries. The hotel's location is great; it's walkable to everything, but if you can't handle a steep road, this isn't the place for you. The meal is fantastic; they provide a hearty Turkish breakfast that allows you to fully immerse yourself in Turkish cuisine and culture. The workers are very kind and very helpful. We didn't have any reservations for activities during our trip to Cappadocia, but Sam was very helpful in assisting us with them. It was clear that he wasn't charging extra fees for this service, which greatly relieved us. Right there, it tells us that they are very kind and honest. One thing we disliked was the slow speed of the internet. The internet was quite slow, and I firmly believe that having internet access is crucial for travelers. The mirror would benefit from a light or lights. A large mirror would also be nice. Although I like the room's lighting concept, ladies frequently use mirrors to do cosmetics. We find it difficult to apply makeup properly in low light. However, these issues are fixable, and I hope they take my advice to heart and improve. All in all, I had a lovely stay and would recommend it.

From start to finish our stay was perfect. Ahmed on reception is incredibly helpful, we could contact him via WhatsApp which made things really easy. From booking trips to fresh towels, he’s your guy! Breakfast was always fresh and delicious. There is no denying this is a real cave hotel, our room was lovely and cosy. Be aware of how hilly Cappadocia is, the hotel is up a fairly steep hill but the views are spectacular. Watching the balloons take off and land from the terrace was amazing. Lots of bars and restaurants close by.

Excellent location and panoramic view of Goreme. The hot air balloons and fairy columns are very visible from your porch. Really as soon as you open your hotel door you see everything. Easy walking distance to everything. Free breakfast was great, comparable to the high quality breakfasts that you can purchase in town. Tub is nice, although I couldn’t figure out how to turn the jacuzzi jets on, but I’m sure if I’d have asked the hotel staff they would’ve helped. Very quiet at night, you only can hear if someone is right outside your window talking which happened for a few minutes but early in the night when I was quite ready for bed. The aesthetics and feeling of being in a cave was very immersive. Hotel staff were very nice, helpful, available, and patient. The price is fair for the accommodation.

Toilet had a slight smell to it, but that’s due to being in a cave and unavoidable as far as I am aware from previous reviews of this and other cave hotels. I kept the fan on and it was not noticeable unless I kept it off for a period of time. The pillow was not as nice or comfortable as others I’ve had, but I wouldn’t call it “uncomfortable” just that there’s room for improvement there.

The hospitality is excellent. The dealing of staffs, Sam and Matt very polite calm, hardworking and genuine young men. Always available. Always happy to help with anything and everything. Everything was simply perfect. The hotel itself is very nice. Well maintained, plenty of flowers that makes everything even more romantic. The view of Göreme from the various balcony they have, is just breathtaking. Also, in a very good location, out from the crowd but still near to the central area. We stayed in a double room with private balcony. Very spacious and comfortable. The staff was so sweet, everyone is working hard to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your stay with them. The breakfast is delicious. Everything cooked at the moment and very tasty. We didn't have space on our table as they brought us so many good things but we finished everything as it was absolutely yummy. The staff was constantly checking if we were missing anything and they gave us more food when we asked. We recommend this hotel to everyone. Good price compared to any other in the area and surely the best one! We will definitely come back!! Fantastic stay!

A lot has been said about the splendid rooms and good location of the hotel. After having stayed for 3 nights, we can confirm that they are indeed as good as everyone has reviewed. However, we wish to commend Sam and his colleagues for the 5-star service they provided throughout (and before) our stay in Cappadocia. They have been friendly and helpful and most importantly sincere in their service. Their sincerity mattered a lot as they served without showing any expectation of us giving them a 5-star review. This was unlike some people in town who were quite overbearing on us to give them 5-star review. The staff of one cafe (Hector) even “volunteered” to help us give themselves a 5-star review on Google, and this contributed to their current 4.9 ratings on Google. Additionally, Sam was very helpful in arranging our tours and when our hot air balloon tour was cancelled on the 1st day (due to unexpected poor weather condition), he helped us look for an alternative by contacting various balloon tour companies. We trusted Sam and he managed to find one for us just when we were about to give up our hope of going up on a hot air balloon. In the end, we managed to go on the day we were flying out of Cappadocia! So a big thanks to Asteria Cave Hotel’s hospitality and I recommend people to stay in this wonderful hotel.

The only minor comment we have is that there was no shampoo holder by the shower which meant that we had to place the shampoo bottles on the floor. Nevertheless, this was just a minor inconvenience.

Ahmet is amazing! He was so incredibly helpful, kind, and great with our kids! The location is Goreme is amazing. We were in the top room which offered amazing views of all of Goreme, including the sunrise and balloons. The breakfast was a perfect Turkish breakfast.

The beds are hard and the pillows are not the best but Ahmet provided us with extra pillows and it was ok. The "shower" is not really a shower but it is a cave hotel so there are things that will be unique to the experience!
