The staff was very helpful in making sure we were comfortable and taking care of some special requests. We were treated to a bottle of wine and some nuts upon arrival and a special parting gift on our final day. The location of the hotel was very convenient for walking to the sights we wanted to see. We dined at their rooftop restaurant both nights which was fabulous. Highly recommend!!! We would stay again.

A True Gem in the Heart of Istanbul Staying at the Neorion Hotel was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The location is simply perfect—right in the heart of Istanbul, making it incredibly easy to explore all the major historical sites, restaurants, and shops on foot. You’re just a short stroll away from the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. The hotel itself is spotless—everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The rooms are cozy, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need. After long days of sightseeing, coming back to such a clean and peaceful space was wonderful. We can’t recommend Neorion Hotel highly enough. Whether it’s your first time in Istanbul or your tenth, this is the kind of place that makes your trip truly special.

Breakfast can be improved a bit,I would like some more Turkish options.

We loved everything about the Neorion hotel. Excellent location in walking distance to the major sightseeings in the old city. The rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast offers a broad variety of choices. A small spa (swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna, Turkish bath, massage) on the -2 floor provides a welcome relaxation. The rooftop terrace restaurant offers outstanding menu and great service, accompanied by a stunning view of the Bosporus. Last but not least, the staff are absolutely amazing, hospitable, professional and helpful in all circumstances. We greatly enjoyed our holidays. It's great value for money. Highly recommended for all travellers.

We had an unforgettable stay at Neorion Hotel! The location is unbeatable – just a short walk to major tourist attractions like Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar. Plus, it’s very close to the train and tram, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. A special thanks to Mert and Dadash, whose warm hospitality and helpful nature made us feel so welcome. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was superb – a generous spread with a wide variety of fresh, delicious options that changed daily. Definitely one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had! Don’t miss the rooftop restaurant – the views over the Bosphorus and city skyline are stunning, especially at sunset. A perfect spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. The hotel is in a superb location within walking distance of most of the main sights (Blue Mosque, Topkapi Castle, Bazaars etc). The staff are really helpful and nice and the sauna pool area is very nice for a small one (even if not top class)

The breakfast is good but could be slightly better (e.g. eggs to order). Otherwise it is probably as expected for a 4 star hotel (comfortable and clean) but rooms could potentially do with an upgrade and it is a bit loud with traffic. The sauna area is nice for a small one and good for relax but the jacuzzi sometimes doesnt work and isnt very hot. The rooftop restaurant has great views but is very pricey (should maybe be more subsidised for hotel guests). The immediate area, while well served, could do with a few better bars and restaurants.

The location of the property is fantastic. It's perfect to explore Istanbul: Subway station Marmaray is 5 min walk, all the Ports to take Bosphorus Line or Cruise or just a water ferry to the Asian side also just a short walk about 10 minutes. Blue Mask is about 15 minutes walk. Spice Bazar and Galata Bridge is about 15 minutes walk. Trolley station is super close. Turkish Delight and many other traditional treats places are just across from the hotel. So many restaurants, pharmacy, stores located just outside of the hotel. What set this hotel apart besides the excellent location is the staff. Reception people are absolutely fantastic, very friendly and happy to answer any questions or to help in anyway they can. They offer breakfast buffet in the morning where you can find the variety of food to enjoy. Staff at the buffet was auper attentive and friendly. Also there is free tasty coffee and tea offered all day long in the lobby. We tried Spa services and did a massage, which was great. Staff speaks English and Turkish and one of the Reception gentleman and massage lady also speaks Russian. We enjoyed our stay very much, they made us feel at home. Our room was very nice and quiet. We had no view from the room but it was ok for us because we spent all day exploring and only came back to sleep. Beds were comfortable and room was nice and quiet which was great to come back to after busy city life. TV in the room has a lots of channels in different languages.

Shower was difficult to switch between top and bottom heards but front desk were kind to fix it quickly. They knew about the issue already and came to help right away.

We are frequent visitors to Istanbul and decided to try Neorion based on the fact that we wanted to stay in Sultanahmet area this time round and also on the reviews. I have no hesitation in saying that all the excellent reviews were spot on. The facility itself is located wonderfully with many restaurants and pubs within 50 to 100 meters. It is also located within walking distance to the major attractions. It is right behind the tram station and within 100 meters of the underground metro station. The spa is exceptional. Use of hot water therapy tub, sauna, and swimming pool is free. It has an amazing roof top restaurant with excellent views of the Bosphorus and amazing food. The breakfast spread in the restaurant in the lobby area is outstanding. We booked an accommodation with two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It was fully equipped with a small but nice balcony. But the best part of the hotel, as testified by other reviewers, is the fantastic staff who went out of their way to assist and guide us with anything we asked for. They also gave us a travel card which we just had to top up at tram or metro stations. We highly recommend this hotel. It will definitely be our regular stop everytime we transit through Istanbul (we always plan for a layover of a couple of days at least in this magnificent city). Can't ask for anything better, frankly. Full value for money, and more!

The staff were savvy with English, emotionally intelligent, ethical, and very focused on the quality of their guest’s (Misafir) experience. From the time you arrive, they are offering you Fresh Turkish coffee or refreshing drink and authentic Turkish delight to hailing your cab and negotiating your comfortable (service and $ to your next stop), when you leave. The location was excellent for walking to the grand sites and a short cab distance to the cruise terminal. Not awkward for cabs from (IST) either. Great hospitality, convenient location, quiet room with excellent beds, lovely breakfast - so delighted with our choice of Neorion Hotel Istanbul. Will never stay anywhere else.

We start with confirming the words from the welcoming leaflet at Neorion Hotel: as ”misafir” we felt like at mom and dad home , treated with love, respect and dedication. The services are excellent, the whole team is great - we don't want to mention just one name because all the people we met were incredible, always ready to please us instantly. During our stay we had a special event - birthday - and unexpectedly, the hotel team marked this event: birthday cake and song, but also a gift. Very kind and delicate attention! Location of the hotel is in the very center of ancient Istanbul. The room and the bathroom are decent in terms of surface, the shower cabin is large. The decorations are in Ottoman style. Everything is very clean. Towels are changed daily. The sewage system is excellent: a hotel that does not have "perfumes" from the sanitary group. Breakfast varies every day, with many tasty dishes. The SPA center is wonderful after a day in the city: the swimming pool, the hydromassage tub, the hamam and last, but not least, massage services.
