Really, the location is very special, less than 1 minute to the port .. there is a small street between building directly in front of the hotel; which doesn't appear in the map. The room is a studio so you can cook if you want but it's not too fast for cooking as it is a heating cooker. You have a microwave, a katel, a coffee machine, glasses and plates.. and most of what you will need in cooking. Also, they have the option to leave you baggage for free after check out.. it was a very good option as our flight was late.

Need to put curtains in the bathroom window.. as they told us that it isn't transparent, but at night, it's transparent, so we asked them for a sheet to put it the window.

Residhotel Vieux Port is located in an amazing spot in Marseille. It is just a few steps away from Vieux-Port which is the main area and is full of restaurants. The hotel is also walking distance to all the major attractions. The staff including the lady and gent at the reception was very friendly and helpful. As we arrived at the hotel before check-in time they provided us with the bag drop service in the hotel itself which was so welcoming so we could go out and enjoy some lunch and explore freely before the actual check-in time. The room was comfortable for my family of 3 and all amenities were included in the room and was prepared for us when we went into the room. We felt safe in the room and hotel which is very careful with who enters the building. We will definitely stay at Residhotel Vieux Port when we visit Marseille again.

Very central location for everything. Our room had partial view of port, which was great. Bed and pillows good quality.

Curtains kind of hanging off rails - need to be secured better. Some things missing from kitchen utensils. We did not need these, but if we had been cooking we would have. Eg not enough cups or glasses.

The place is well located, being close to the main port, metro station, bus and tram stops. Shops are easily found in the area, the main esplanade is close, 100m, and the Canebiere boulevard is 250m from the location. We had an apartment with a very large terrace, furnished with a table and four chairs where we could sit outside. The apartment was spacious and clean.

A little more care and dedication should be put into maintaining the location's rooms.

Very friendly and courteous staff. Comfortable room with kitchenette. It was t equipped for doing much cooking, but I used it for storing fruit, cheese, cold drinks and reheating take out food. And location, location, location was excellent. So close to Vieux Port and the ferry boats and museums. I will be back.

The street noise was annoying, but that isn’t the hotel’s fault. The kitchenette was not well equipped - no kettle for boiling water for tea.

The owner! She was extremely kind, generous and helpful! She helped us with our many luggages, was always available for any question or request we had, and always greeted us with great attitude. Highly recommended! The location of the property was also amazing, the street was filled with nice cafes and places, at the centre, and the accommodation itself was clean and modern.

The area was not what we expected. Removed from tourist area, and up a hill. Our mistake and no fault of hotel. But caution before you book, do your research. Room was small but adequate for our stay. And staff was highlight. Very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We arrived a bit put off, but the young man (originally from Peru) that checked us in dissolved our frustration with his positive attitude and infectious smile!

Location was not as we’d expected. At the base of main train station, at top of hill from port. Interesting walk to/from port. Recommend if it’s location fits your needs.

Thank you to the staff for their friendliness! We were absolutely exhausted from our 14 hour flights, and was helped with an earlier book in! Room was just perfectly sized and everything was sparkling clean. Bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable! Hotel perfectly located, and you can find anything you need a short walk away! Would love to come back someday❤️

Absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel!

Decent price for a great location, 50m from the port. The room was basic but comfortable enough. The air conditioning was excellent, I even had to turn it down. Breakfast was the standard French assortment of pastries.

The decor is slightly dated and tired in places, making the hotel feel particularly "three star". Unfortunately, my visit coincided with the riots of May 2023, but that wasn't the hotel's fault and the staff did a good job of helping make us feel safe.

the location of this residhotel is great; right next to the old port. we stayed for one night only so the room was much bigger than we needed and we didn't use the kitchen. comfortable bed and plenty of space.

I didn't like the fact the hotel called me the day before to inform me they double booked and they wanted to move us to a hotel in the 8th arrondisement. I refused as I booked this place for the location. They found a solution and we stayed as agreed. but not nice to be stressed out the day before traveling!
