The Rixos Hotel in Doha is a luxurious, all-inclusive 5-star property conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from the airport. The hotel itself is fantastic, with spacious, sea-view rooms that are well-equipped and feature large, comfortable beds and en-suite walk-in waterfall showers. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. The doormen were polite and smartly dressed, and the reception team was incredibly helpful, particularly one staff member, Sonia, who consistently ensured everything was in order. The hotel boasts three on-site restaurants: a steakhouse, an Indian restaurant, and a buffet restaurant. The food selection at the buffet was impressive, catering to various tastes, and the all-inclusive package, although somewhat restrictive based on wristband color, offered the added bonus of alcoholic beverages.

The hotel has two main pools: one for families and one designated for adults (over 18). Additionally, the beach is divided into separate areas for families and couples. However, this is where the hotel fell short for us. There was a clear lack of signage indicating these zones, leading to frequent disruptions in the adults-only areas by families with children. While the lifeguards managed the adult pool area well, security on the beach did not always enforce the rules, creating frustrating situations where couples had to move due to noisy children and even parents changing babies nearby. This lack of enforcement detracted from the experience, and better signage and clearer rules would have likely avoided such conflicts.

The property with all its facilities is really good and comfy. And luxurious in some aspects. Melissa and Maysaa made our stay amazing and strived to make us happy. They certainly become our friends and the main reason why we would choose this resort again. The food was amazing. Lifeguards by the pools were really polite and friendly with kids. Rixy kids club staff were amazing and really caring. They try to engage all kids in the various activities despite the language barrier.

Room cleaning i used a spoon to feed my baby. They just wipe it and put it back without washing it. Pillows need to be a bit firm. Noise was really disturbing when there is a concert by the beach. No fans by the pools and the weather was really hot which made sitting by the pool to watch and attend to kids a torturing experience.

Brand new hotel! All the facilities are there, including childrens club. Nice view of the harbor and skyscrapers! the food in the main restarant was decent, stake house was also ok, and the indian reataurant was taisty, althought not very popular with Kazach crowd! The service was super - you ask for something, and you get it! All the facilities are super clean! And yes, if you get all-inclusive, than you get all the house wine or beer you want at the restaurants and the pool area!:) Averall good hotel if you travel with children, since there is a lot to do there!!!

If your windows are seeview, your hear music from daytime till 10 30 pm. so if you want quite - pick non-seeview! also the doors to the rooms are super load, of you just let them go - they slam boom!!!

Good location, pools were nice and welcoming staff. Room was lovely. It was our anniversary and they left us a nice cake. They upgraded our room to sea view which was a wonderful surprise.

The main thing that lets this hotel down is the food. They had the same food menu for both lunch and dinner. Not enough variety of mains and didn't have enough different cuisines. The desserts were the same cake in different colours. Beach area was very small. As it was our anniversary they could have decorated the room as it is a 5 star hotel. Only 2 lifts and 1 wasn't working properly so very time consuming as there are about 600+ guests. Staff need to be more engaging and lively. Not allowed to have lunch on check out day which would have been much appreciated.

The hotel is really in a great location, spacious and has good services.

I had an absolutely fantastic time during my stay at Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha! The experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the incredible service and attention to detail. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional dining experience. The food we had was simply excellent. The variety, quality, and flavors of the dishes were beyond my expectations. Each meal was a culinary delight, and I truly appreciated the effort that went into creating such a memorable dining experience.

Great rooms with a stunning view of the city! Nice gym.

It did not feel like a 5 star resort: 1. People were reserving sun beds with towels at 7 am. 2. Overcrowded breakfast room. Hard to get a table. Many just dirty. Staff not catching up with cleaning. 3. Quite repetitive meals. Not much fantasy. 4. Quite old and used plastic glasses at the pool bar. Did not enjoy drinking out of them. 5. They rented part of the hotel to a private party on a couple of nights which was so loud we could not sleep despite being on the 4th floor. So if you want to go to an all inclusive resort like in Turkey or Bulgaria you are all set, but if you could on luxury and relaxation, stay clear.

Very grateful to the hotel staff for the amazing trip. We arrived quite early from the overnight flight and they were able to accommodate us before official check in times, which helped us start the holiday on the right foot. My parents also asked to organise a special celebration for our recent wedding and so we got a pleasant surprise in form of a delicious chocolate cake. The staff was always very welcoming and assisted us with arranging taxis and with all other questions, including lost property, which was safely found with all content intact. We had half-board (breakfast+dinner) and were told we can switch dinner to lunch if necessary, which was great and i did that on my last day as i was leaving in the evening. Food was good, with a lot of variety and changing themes for dinners helped keep things from getting too repetitive. The room was also great - quite spacious and clean and I loved the shower - very relaxing. Huge and very comfortable bed ensured good sleep, as well as good sound isolation (i was worried it would be noisy so close tot he airport but wasnt at all).

A bit more options for shade on the beach would have been good as the spots filled up quickly in the morning, with people "blocking" seats with towels.

A very warm welcome from day one. The staff overall have been exceptionally friendly. Thank you khurshid for making sure our breakfast was on point. A huge thank you to Oye, Suleman, Shifali, and most importantly Jawad who all went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. Jawad has been fantastic throughout our stay, helping at every opportunity, super friendly with an amazing attitude and loads of positive energy. We checked out and still had a number of hours before needing to head to the airport, Jawad, Suleman, Shifali and Oye ensured we were still looked after and our two infants comfortable at all times. Hotel facilities are great, indoor gym, sauna and spa, outdoor training area too with a number of hanging bags for kick boxing, no shortage of swimming facilities with also splash areas for the kids. Kids club is great with lots of scheduled activities every day. The gym offers wide variety of classes throughout the day too. Private beach and day use cabanas make it even more special.

I would say there is always a bit of a queue for omelettes or coffee during morning breakfast. That can be improved.
