The property was clean and maintained in a good condition compared to the previous hotel we booked in Malaysia. Staff was very helpful.

Our room’s key card failed to work twice and the other day after the housekeeper tidied our room, the room remained open due to a system failure. They fixed it but still feel like it’s not safe to us.

Nice big rooms that are cleaned perfectly everyday.... nice facilities like kettle/hair dryer etc.... comfy beds..the staff were helpful and the rooftop pool is nice.... breakfast was nice...

Breakfast was nice but was exactly the same for the 7 nights I stayed.... also there were no movie channels in English... just lots of Malaysian news programes.... which is not ideal for an international hotel of this class...

We very much enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable, the staff provided us with an extra blanket, so that we both had our own. The staff was helpful, the location is very nice.

The gym is more like a cardio centre than a proper gym. If you expect any weights or dumbbells, you're going to be disappointed. There are 3 machines for cardio, 1 tower and 1 gymball. Second disappointment was breakfast. Although it must have been such an incredible amount of work and effort for the staff, there aren't really many breakfast choices. There is an egg counter, not so many fruits, bread with artificial jams, artificial juices, very very bad tea and then many lunch-like dishes such as soups, rice, noodles, ... You just have to hope that you come on the day they make pancakes, because they are divine. If you're used to asian breakfast, you'll be happy. If you want to start your day with proper breakfast food, don't expect many choices.

My room was great but I should have had a room with a full bed and not two twins since I was alone for 7 days. That is what the front desk gave me. I made the best of it. The Breakfast was included and was plentiful but all main dishes were the same everyday. I was not happy there was no chicken and I don't eat chicken sausage - However, for the most part the breakfast for non Americans is plentiful. I wish there was a cappuccino machine or barista. The omelets station needs more variety but overall the staff and the place was EXCELLENT!

Location was Ideal. The staff was GREAT. The Wifi STRONG. The pool on the 25th floor FANTASTIC! I really enjoyed the area and central to Georgetown it was so easy walking or just taking GRAB.

I recently stayed at Neo+ Penang for 9 nights, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to shopping malls, restaurants, and local attractions, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing space after a day out. I particularly enjoyed the nice pool area, which offered a great spot to unwind, and the views from the hotel were quite impressive, adding to the overall ambiance of the stay. If you’re looking for a well-located hotel in George Town with good amenities and a comfortable atmosphere, Neo+ Penang is a solid choice. Would definitely recommend it for both short and long stays!

room: we booked for twin, so it's still ok, the room is big for us and we have 1 child (3yo), we stay for 2 nights. toilet: it is clean and provides with everything with hairdryer. location: the location is in the middle of the georgetown, 5-8 minutes walking to Komtar, 5-8 minutes walking to Deen Maju Nasi kandar, and maybe 10-15 minutes walking to all the mural attractions around the town. The best part is that this hotel has a swimming pool. With the price, I think it is more than good for staying in the middle of georgetown. Parking: there is parking, 3-4 levels for parking, and an elevator, and it is free for hotel guests. just validate it. Iron is provided at every level outside of room. water also provide water filter near to elevator. so just refill

The location was perfect and we were able to walk to most places. The staff were friendly and we were able to get our laundry done for us. The convenience store downstairs was very handy as well. There was a water cooler for hot and cold water in the hallway of our room that was great for refilling water bottles instead of using extra plastic bottles. The pool was a lifesaver on the extra hot afternoons that we were there.

The beds were harder than the reviews I had read previously. The shower water overflowed into the main floor area of the bathroom and it was very difficult to keep our feet dry.

The same music on loop for 3 days straight! I felt like I was going to go crazy listening to the same 4 songs on repeat, I asked one of the staff if it bothered them and they said it does! I can't imagine having to listen to the same four songs on repeat every day. Please consider anything else, radio etc.. Also the music plays all through the whole hotel so there is no escaping it, I could even hear it in the room when I was trying to get an early night.. at least it seemed to be turned down after about 10/11pm The photos made the room look much bigger and the bathroom was tiny! You couldn't get into the shower without closing the door and likewise couldn't open or close the door when you were on the toilet as the door would hit your knees!

The location is very good, it is 1km from the centre of George Town. Not too noisy or busy. There are some nice hawker centers for dinner or snacks nearby as well as malls and local and upscale supermarkets. The staff are very professional and friendly: we had some noise issues with our room location and one of the staff members (I wished I remembered her name! but she was superb!!) really helped us out with moving our room to another floor. I can't thank her enough for this!!!!! The rooms are simple and efficient, including the amenities you think you need, and with enough space to hang your clothes. The Swimming pool in the morning is not so busy and quite refreshing

The gym was kind of sad. The treadmill didn't work. Half working Smith Machine, and elliptical. It looked more like a meditation room than a gym.

Loved the room and bathroom. Efficient and friendly check in staff at Reception. Security guards very helpful and great advice on local sightseeing. Hotel is excellently located. Opposite the old HIN bus depot which now hosts art exhibits as well as a collector's market on weekends. Hotel is up the road from Deens Maju Nasi Kandar, and close to Gama department store, Komtar building and 1st Avenue shopping mall. Stunning rooftop pool
