Boardwalk and beach accessibility

The pool was very cloudy. Wasn’t very inviting in appearance. But the stay was comfortable, welcoming and the view was remarkable, as well as the beach boardwalk and attractions in the area making the stay exceptional and worth the go.

The room was clean and we like the size of the room ☺️

The bathroom was clean but there was some mold in the shower 😞

The hotel was exceptionally clean which is very important to me. The staff was always working diligently to clean the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was nice as well.

The parking garage was a little steep but manageable.

The friendliness of the staff. The location.

At breakfast they stood in the door way staring at, ,I'm sure the food supply, but it felt they were staring at you while you made your food. And my Bathroon had hair, that wasn't mine or my nephews in the bath tub on the sink and floor. I cleaned it before we used anything. I bring lysol wipes with me everywhere.

Overall it was a great value. The staff was courteous and the room was comfortable. The location and the view from the waterfront balcony was awesome. My wife and I absolutely enjoyed it. Please address the issues in the “Didn’t like category “. I didn’t mention to my wife the I saw a Large Roach. We like this hotel and would love to come back soon. I rated it 8 out of 10 because of the concerns that I voiced.

I saw a large ROACH in the bathroom. Also at breakfast, the eggs tase like powdered eggs. My room # was 329. The toilet was fixed but it still leaks on the lower right side. The safe is old and difficult to operate. I had to call twice to gain access to the safe.

Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. Hotel actually looks like it’s pictures. Friendly staff.

There were no serious cons about the place. Minor things like one elevator was down and the pool was closed one day. We would’ve loved some better sprayers to clean the sand off before entering and some chairs/umbrellas would’ve been great! We stayed during a heat advisory and it took awhile to actually cool our room down. Outside the room was pretty hot but that seemed to be the situation with every building we entered.

Oceanfront was beautiful. Breakfast was ok could have served more meats not just one. Had a problem with ants in the bathroom it was addressed and taken care of. Pool was dirty the first couple of days we were there I addressed that it was taken care of. Overall it was a great stay.

Nothing

The room was clean and very neat. Everything worked as it should. Was also very happy with the entrance to the beach from the hotel. No issues with the keycards or anything. The breakfast was good, and the staff was super friendly even though we didn't make it there until 15 minutes before they closed. We were there about 5-10 minutes after they closed but they never tried to push us out or make us feel uncomfortable. The rest of the staff were great and very nice. Couldn't have asked for a nicer stay.

Not a big thing, and it was understandable due to the renovations. The one elevator was in pretty bad shape on the inside. The siding was falling off the walls. I think this was most likely due to the renovations, but it probably would have been better to have it not used by guests. That or it should have been cleaned up (i.e. reattach the siding to the wall). Everything else was in great shape throughout the hotel.

The breakfast had good options and helpful staff to restock anything running out. The receptionist checking me in was also very friendly and helpful. I love how every room is oceanfront!

I would say that the hotel is a little dated but is undergoing improvements, however the pricing wasn’t too bad. And you can tell they try to keep things clean. One thing that was a little bothersome was when I went out on the balcony there was a man yelling profanities down on the ground at passersby on the boardwalk, that isn’t the hotels fault though. I think it’s just part of the new Va beach experience.

The staff here are awesome! They remembered my family and made sure to greet us and chat with my kids even during a busy sand soccer tournament weekend. The facility is very clean and looks nice. I love that there is an attached parking garage. I really also loved the small things like daily fresh baked cookies in the lobby and the detachable shower head.

A complaint I have is that breakfast ends at 9am everyday. Just a little early for me. And their elevators are slow, not fun when you're on the 7th floor.
