Very clean and lovely building, room was beautiful and went above and beyond for a birthday booking with wine, chocolate, cake and a card being left in the room.

We accidentally left behind something in the room, after 3 calls to the hotel we were told nothing was found and to email housekeeping who still have not responded to us. The item was defiantly left in the room. Very difficult to get our item returned or found.

Everything was 10/10 from spa to room to breakfast

Other customers using phone in spa which made it very uncomfortable for myself as phones were out while as spa we wanted to relax and enjoy our stay, and sock worn at spa did make strange

Stayed for my partners 30th birthday & was lovely would 100% return. Arrived to a nice glass of bubbly at the entrance then the room had a surprise cake which tasted very good, chocolates & wine with the view of the shard/gherkin ect. We were given a complimentary upgrade to the executive room & they included breakfast too at no extra cost which was delicious. We used the pool & sauna area in the evening and again the next morning which was lovely & relaxing also included in the stay! Room is cosy, bath is huge, Beds were huge & comfortable, staff were very nice & the location is good too! The late checkout was good too!

Only tiny downfall is between certain times there’s quite a few children in the pool/sauna area but when we went in the morning around 11:30 it was a lot quieter!

I booked this hotel for my Girlfriend’s birthday and it did not disappoint.. We paid extra and upgraded to the Executive King Room and I’m glad we did. The room was a great size and absolutely spotless. Also, the views of London were outstanding from our bedroom window. I asked the hotel to organise Strawberries and Balloons for the room which were reasonably priced. Upon arrival, we were gifted 2 drinks vouchers and there was also an added bottle of wine and a card in the room waiting for us. All members of staff were exceptional and always smiling.. Special thanks to Merula for the complementary drinks vouchers and also to Norman who gave us late checkout free of charge on our day of departure. We will definitely be back.

The lift situation is a bit ridiculous only two lifts for the whole hotel, everyone was complaining. They are painfully slow and you’d find people having to go all the way to the bottom floor to go back up just to make sure you got in a lift. I’m 6 months pregnant and our room was on the 6th floor so stairs weren’t an option. I also thought the spa would be over 18s my mistake but Sunday morning it was full of children so difficult to swim, it might be nice to have some adult only times in there. Location was okay but it was a little out the way and we struggled to find a black cab

When booking, it is not written that children aged 15 and 13 can be at the pool at certain times, which is very inconvenient when you go sightseeing in the city to be guided by that and you can use the pool. When you arrive at the time when I can stay, the pool will be busy because there are more people without children who can use it at any time and you have to wait when you can study, but it will not extend your time. You can't use a cell phone at the pool, even to write e-mail messages, and you can't leave the children alone if they don't let you, and during that time the guy who works at the pool uses the cell phone without restrictions.

The hotel was excellent, in a superb location, quiet and 5 minutes walk to Tower Bridge. Breakfast offered the usual selection of hot and continental choices. A very small criticism is that if you are going to offer breakfast until 11am, then there still needs to be tables made up and plenty of choice left in the buffet. It was all looking very depleted when we went down at 10.30. Also, my daughter asked the chef for a poached egg but was told she needed to go through the waiter, which seemed unnecessary. However, we had a wonderful stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

A lovely hotel, the place is located very close to the tower bridge and it's close to a train station and stop buses to move around. All the place is lovely, the rooms are beautiful and all the place. You will have an amazing place to enjoy after your trip around. The breakfast is included and good

The lift was a nightmare our 3 nights there. Only 2 lifts available for us, 1 never worked, the other didn't work the second morning and we had to take the stairs, at least only to go down, WE were in 12th floor, at least they fixed it, but only this was fixed, not the other. It's a big hotel for having only this available, 14 floors and very reduced lifts, always full, stopping almost in each floor and making you to take 15 to 20 minutes sometimes just to go to your room. Lovely pool but with cold water.
