I had a wonderful experience staying at Grand Excelsior Hotel, Bur Dubai in the Deluxe Room, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dubai. ✅ Seamless Check-in & Warm Welcome – The reception team was friendly, efficient, and made me feel truly valued from the moment I arrived. ✅ Spacious & Comfortable Deluxe Room – The room was spotless, well-equipped, and provided a perfect balance of luxury and comfort, my room have a great view with wide screen windows looking at Burj khalifa and Dubai frame. ✅ Outstanding Hospitality & Service – The staff were always attentive, professional, and eager to assist with a smile, they even play with my two and half year daughter all the time and gives her sweets and great her and us with great smile. ✅ Prime Location – Situated in the heart of Bur Dubai, making it easy to explore the city's top attractions and shopping malls, and near from all restaurants. ✅ Exceptional Customer Care – A special thanks to Mr. Mohamed Gamal, the hotel manager, for his impeccable attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction. Nothing actually

The hotel is localized closed to the old Dubai city, in an area with many restaurants (especially Indian), markets, small shops. The room is very big (huge) and the beds are really comfortable. For a family of 4 we got one queen been and two single beds. At night it was quiet and we could all sleep very well. The pool is very nice and they have lots of other facilities (which we didn't try unfortunately), but should be on our list for next time. The team is really great, we had a flight disruption and they were really nice in accommodating our request. I really appreciated their flexibility and understanding for our situation.

It takes a bit of walking to the metro (10-15 mins), but the weather in Jan was perfect for walking, so no real issue.

Everything was very good, we were satisfied...good location and specially serving food was fantastic....really tasty...staff...specially Amzad really nice gay, Room 711 beutifull view ..

Great stay at this hotel. All the staff were amazing. So friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The lifeguards did a superb job and moved our umbrella as the sun moved! Also they were very diligent in regard to safety. Special thanks too to the staff in the restaurant and the chefs - breakfast and evening meals were delicious. And thanks to the reception and manager at the restaurant for organising a takeaway food package before we left. Coffee at the small cafe was excellent and again great staff. Room was large with plenty of storage space. Cleaned well each day and toiletries provided. Hotel is not too far from the airport and there are plenty of cafes/restaurants around should you wish to eat out. Also a supermarket nearby. If you want to be near the shopping malls this is possibly not for you. We have been to Dubai several times and stayed in different hotels on each occasion. In general the hotel is very good. Good location. Good stuff. The rooms are clean and the beds were comfortable. Before we left the receptionist asked if we liked our stay and anything they could improve. I would come back again. Satisfied.

Very big and spacious room. Neat and clean linen. Excellent view. Very good housekeeping. Choice of breakfast was excellent. Availability of Indian breakfast was a real surprise and a bonus. We stayed for six days and breakfast menu had a wide variety of options especially for vegetarians. The chefs and staff at the breakfast menu were very cordial and helpful. Front office staff were very helpful. Our check in and check out were smooth and were free of hassles. Dine in facilities has a wide choice of restaurants and bars. Travel desk people were very helpful.

Availability of lighting in the room was very poor. Only one pedestal light and two bed side lamps to illuminate the room. Availability of TV Channels was a big disappointment. Only Arabic channels available.

Stayed at the Grand Excelsior Hotel in Bur Dubai and had a truly wonderful experience. The location is excellent with easy access to key areas around the city. The hotel itself offers great facilities, and the staff are among the friendliest I’ve ever encountered—always welcoming and helpful. I also really appreciated the variety of restaurants and pubs available right within the hotel, making it easy to relax and enjoy without needing to step out.

If I could suggest one small improvement, it would be to streamline the checkout process—it took a bit longer than expected. Other than that, everything was fantastic. Highly recommended!

Initially booked for 3 nights stay for our Dubai holidays. Better coordination for breakfast during busy hours

We had a room with jacuzzi and Burj Khalifa view as well as the half board option. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Room was huge with comfortable king bed and good quality linen, comfortable lounge and chairs and good sized bathroom. Initially the spa bath didn't work but was quickly and efficiently sorted by reception/concierge staff. View was fabulous. The food at the Cantina restaurant where we ate was delicious and varied. Ahmed and the chefs were very talented, hard working and showed great attention to detail when it came to presentation and customer service. Overall our stay was very enjoyable and certainly unbeatable value for money. We would be very happy to stay here again.

The breakfast and evening dinner were both excellent, offering a wide range of foods to cater to most tastes. Our room was on the 7th floor and was very spacious and quiet. The air-con in the room was excellent. There were 4 lifts in the main lobby, so we never had to wait very long for one. All the staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful.

The pool is open-air and on the roof, so it was too hot to enjoy. Some sort of open-sided cover to provide some shade would have been very welcome. Our shower had very poor pressure, so it was easier to just take a bath. The TV in our room didn't work.
