Lovely breakfast perfectly cooked. plus it was in a lovely dining room. The house was quintessentially English with lots of little touches which made us feel at home. I t was clean and tidy and very quiet. The surrounding garden was absolutely super. The Staff were both very welcoming and did all they could to ensure we had all we needed. I did feel I had had a little break at the end of it. I had not been to that place before, we were there to go to a Birthday Party for an ex Colleague of mine. The whole experience was lovely, and we came back to the room, rested well and left after a lovely breakfast the next morning. English full breakfast, and tea and coffee on a lovely tray to help yourself, together with toast, brown and medium sliced which was lovely. We had orange juice in the morning before our breakfast arrived. I reckon a whole lot of work is done before we got there, as everthing was geared towards us having everything we needed.

It was perfect for a one—to stay two-night. It had all the amenities and was very comfortable. The full English was nicely presented and on time. This privately owned B&B is very friendly and welcoming. Approximately a 2-mile walk into Buram-on-Crouch centre would be delightful in the spring and summer.

I wouldn't ask for any improvements. The price was acceptable for everything that you needed. I am 100% sure if you need anything. Asking the person in charge would almost go the extra mile to accommodate.

We only spent a night at burnt Mill Cottage as we were there for a wedding, but our host was super friendly, showed us to our room and explained where everything was. The room was nice and cosy with an ensuite, it was very cute and clean. The bed was really soft, a bit too soft for my partner but I have slept like a baby. Next morning we had a lovely cooked breakfast before we left. Can't fault anything and would defo stay again if ever in the area.

Ria & Stephen made us feel very welcome. We had a lovely room on the ground floor with en-suite shower facilities. Tea & coffee facilities were provided with chocolate biscuits 😋. Also bottled water. Parking was good. Loved that we could order for breakfast rather than there be any waste, and because it was cooked to order, it was fresh & delicious. Property is about 1.25 miles walk into Burnham where we ate for both nights of our stay, at St. Peppers & Ruam Thai. Thanks again for being lovely hosts.

The hosts were so lovely and accommodating. Room had everything we needed and very comfortable. Tasty full english breakfast with other breakfast options. Close to the train station and all other amenities. Just a lovely stay all round. Loved it!

Very friendly hosts, really comfortable beds, the hosts kindly also drove us to the wedding venue for a small petrol fee. The B and B was very a pretty place, and perfect for hosting. The hosts kindly gave us advice about our wedding venue and the mozzies we might encounter there by the pond.

Breakfast was lovely, though we would have perhaps have appreciated a bit more bacon and sausages. Still, it was a lovely breakfast, and it kept our waistlines looking good! !

Quiet location down a village lane with parking for 2-3 cars just a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk to a very good gastropub. Lovely hosts, comfy warm room and a full English breakfast. Staying here again when next in the area!!

Grapefruit absolute hit and tomatoes picked fresh from the garden. Loves the personal touch.

It didn't bother us and actually made the stay more homely but might be good to warn others about the pets e.g dogs. We thought they were lovely.

A great little private B and B, the owner takes a lot of care and pride in giving her guests a lovely experience. I was traveling for work, and only stayed one night but I would certainly recommend staying for a longer vacation. Close to local amenities and restaurants but in a very quiet and peaceful location.

Very quiet location for those that want peace and tranquillity. Very comfortable beds with a good standard breakfast of your choice. A nice touch was the provision of a chocolate biscuit.

Very limited parking but adequate. One couple staying had two cars? The tea/coffee/milk appeared sparce. We should have asked for more but didn't. Roadworks outside of the property but not an issue. Access to twin bedded room is via stairs. Could be difficult for people with mobility difficulties.
