Nice clean warm room, super comfy double bed. I took one of the cheap rooms that didn't have ensuite, but did have a sink in the room as used to be common. The toilet was just down the corridor and washing facilities across the corridor, fine for me. They do have rooms with ensuites I believe. Decor is old fashioned, but tidy and clean. Who cares if the wallpaper isn't fashionable and up-to-date? Staff were very friendly, check-in was available from midday which was very helpful, and the food was absolutely excellent. The best burger and fries I've ever eaten for lunch, a superb venison steak for dinner, and the perfect full English for breakfast, the breakfast included in the price (which I hadn't expected). Next time I'm back in Burnham I'll definitely be staying here.

Location of the hotel is excellent, I was down for a course along the front but the hotel is right near the Main Street so you can get to anything else quickly. The food was superb, and compared to London prices, a bargain - I even started looking house prices. The breakfast included was also great, and you have a bit of a view out to the river. Also, the staff were all very friendly and helpful; getting an iron that sort of thing. Room was kept clean and fresh and was very clean when I arrived

Only thing would be more hangers in the wardrobe I had brought a couple of my own so could double up but really a tiny issue and did not affect my stay in any way

The hotel location was excellent .our room was on the front and the views were amazing. The staff serving breakfast were polite friendly and attended to all our needs.

Our room was clean and tidy . Just needed a chair and glasses for the water. Shower room was small. The stairs to the room was on a higher level and were a bit precarious and needed to really take care as they were steep. Would be a struggle for older people as it's an attic room ok as we're not really tall.

The White Harte has a great location overlooking the Crouch estuary, one street back from Burnham's main road. It took me about 15 minutes to walk from the rail station, and the local bus stop was a short hop away. The room I had (Room 3) was spacious and comfortable - a double bed (comfy) as well as 2 easy chairs, and a desk/dressing table. The bathroom was a little dated but fully working and clean. The breakfast choices were good, the coffee excellent. Cheery, helpful staff. A variety of eateries a short walk away.

The hotel is a lovely building inside as is the area around it and out the room I stayed in was nice and the bed very comfortable with a nice outlook from the window, I had a bar snack meal and it was really tasty as was the breakfast in the morning the staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you. 👍

There was nothing I didn’t like.

I stayed at the White Harte for a visist to family but also worked in my room during the stay. The room was nice with a good shower. The WIFI worked well and breakfast and dinner had great and tasty options. Top tip ask for a room with a view.

The White Harte is a classic busy pub on the wharf, with very friendly staff with a positive attitude. The food was very good and served promptly and the room was comfortable.

The ensuite was a little basic but serviceable. The car park is small, but we got a space.

Excellent - I did not need any lunch that day.

The en suite was adequate but not brilliant. The toilet seat did not fit properly at the front leaving one sitting on the china bit. The light switch had to be pulled so hard that I feared I would break it. Good hot water and nice shower.

Excellent breakfast and serving staff.

Hard to criticise as it is a budget price hotel. It is very old and has character but, of course, not ideally built to modern accommodation standards. Sound insulation is understandably poor and the clatter and chater of breakfast preparation could be heard in the rooms sited above the kitchens.

Beautiful location with beautiful views. Staff were amazing and so friendly nothing was to much trouble.

Bed was uncomfortable and slightly hard so didn't sleep as well as hoped. Bathroom was compact so wasn't best for a larger person like myself.
