Excellent location, very easy to find. Right on Cardiff Bay, immediately off the roundabout at the end of the dual carriageway. Fabulous staff, so helpful and really went the extra mile, superb. Huge, airy room with excellent air-con (it was a really hot day), 2 huge beds and everything you could possibly need. Very impressed. Fantastic value for money. Chosen due to it having parking -ample parking available- and being close to the venue of the gig we were attending -The Depot, short uber away. Would definitely book there again the next time we're going to a gig at the depot.

Wonderful room spotlessly clean, bed for me was a little too firm but for my Wife it was perfect. Shower and bathroom excellent and again spotlessly clean with quality toiletries. Ice and chilled water dispensers at the lift foyer a bonus. A well stocked bar with comfortable spacious seating, and a restaurant with an unpretentious highly populated menu for all. A breakfast choice to die for with attentive polite and friendly super helpful Staff. For me, a Blue Badge user, the parking was the mega bonus. If you can't cope with the traffic system, 20mph, cycle and bus lanes through the City Centre, it's easy to get to via the main routes.

Tv reception was sketchy but a common feature in hotels nowadays. Views a bit Industrial but it's an ever growing Cardiff Bay

The property was fine, but the booking process via booking.com was a shambles. 13 of our party waited over an hour for the manager to sort it out as Booking .com had cancelled one of the 6 rooms booked the night before we arrived for no reason!! They also appear to have not passed on full details of the other rooms required leading to some of the allocated rooms being inappropriate and not what we booked! All this happening after a long day travelling day at 8 in the evening was intolerable. Not sure I would trust Booking.com again with multiple bookings again.

The breakfast arrangement was awful as you had to pay £18 even though I only wanted an egg on toast and coffee! There is no continental option.

The room was spacious and clean. We were very pleased there was air con too. Breakfast was delicious- we looked forward to this every day. The staff in the restaurant were also very courteous.

The only disappointing thing was our arrival. We had travelled all day from Scotland and arrived slightly before check in (2:30 pm on Thursday 17th) At the desk, 2 young men barely glanced at us and when I asked to check in I was pointedly told in 5 words "Check in is at 3:00". There was no smiles, no further eye contact, no offer to point out the bar or somewhere comfy to sit and wait... it was like we were barely even there. This did put a slight dampener on the beginning of our holiday. Otherwise all the rest of the staff and our experiences were great.

Room: Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed. All amenities were in perfect working order, and the room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The layout was practical and the decor created a relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast: The breakfast was a definite highlight - delicious variety of options including both continental and hot dishes. Fresh ingredients, well-prepared food, and something for every taste. The breakfast area was clean and well-maintained, making it a great way to start each day. Bed: The bed was exceptionally comfortable with high-quality linens and pillows. We had excellent sleep quality throughout our stay - the mattress provided perfect support and the bedding was fresh and cozy.

Honestly, it's hard to find significant faults with this stay. Perhaps the breakfast area could get a bit crowded during peak hours, but the quality and variety more than made up for it. May be because of rugby match.

Stayed here for two nights as we were attending a wedding in Cardiff Bay. Great location and an added bonus that you don't have to pay extra for parking. Great spot to stay for Cardiff Bay. Right next to the Red Dragon centre, so plenty to do around the hotel. It's a walkable distance into the city centre too, but takes no time at all by car or taxi. We didn't visit the restaurant or bar during our stay, but it looked like there was a range of options. Room service is also available. There are lifts and a flat/all on one level entrance so it's fairly accessible. Room had everything we needed. Air con was a godsend because it was very hot during our stay. Plenty of storage too, plus tea and coffee making facilities. Fairy good value for money too considering we booked fairly last-minute. Have stayed before, and will again. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Our shower wasn't the best, the shower head wouldn't stay in one position so it sprayed everywhere, and the bath drained very slowly. But that's all, and it really wasn't that much of an issue.

Every member of staff was polite and friendly, the rooms are large and spacious and the bed was comfortable, there is a safe in the room big enough for laptops and other valuables and there was also a 2 seater couch in the room which was nice to relax on rather than sitting on the bed or the chair at the dressing table. a nice touch was having wine glasses provided in the room along with water, tea & coffee and also 2 small packs of biscuits. we used the Thomas restaurant on the first night and the food was excellent value and quality and the waiting staff were brilliant,there is also a good sized bar area with decent seating to relax in. The breakfast was also excellent quality and there was never a shortage of any of the food on offer, overall this hotel is superb, i would definately choose a future inn again over the competition 10 out of 10

im really struggling to find anything negative to say about the hotel, it far exceeded my expectations for the price

From the morning we were leaving from Plymouth to go to Cardiff we had a call to see if we needed a cot , once I said that we didn't we were offered 2 double beds so my daughter had 1 to herself. Firstly what a great 1st experience., 2ndly, we had a wedding to attend and were short on time as I also had to get the venue ready .. worried I wasn't going to make checkout, my wife asked Ethan at front desk if we could possibly pay for late checkout .. Ethan explained that Future Inn don't do that but never the less asked how long extra we needed the room for .. only until 12 ... in that case Ethan arranged for our room to be cleaned last and told us not to worry and stay until 12.. you will never realise how much you helped me and my family . Will definitely be coming back to Future Inn Cardiff.

Nothing really, if I had to be picky , a little dark in rooms than I am used too and the air con could be cooler but that's just being picky, not enough to moan about.

Very good location. Good size room with 2 double beds. (beds could have been a bit more comfortable though). Lovely carpets. Bathroom was good with good, powerful shower but decor in bathroom looked a bit old. Toilet flush handle seemed as if it was too weak. Big car park which was free as long as we typed in car reg at reception after checking in. Breakfast price (£16pp) is a bit of a rip off so didn't bother but no different to other hotels. Seemed soundproofed, so no noise whatsoever on 4th floor apart from doors opening and closing. Shops, bay area, supermarkets, restaurants, city centre, City Road (for halal food) all not far away at all.

Wanted to book another night stay but the price jumped up quite considerably which was a bit mean.

Excellent location, nice clean spacious room, good breakfast and onsite Thomas restaurant. Good room service option out of hours. All major facilities and amenities were available in room, amazing food places in walking distance, so helpful and well trained staff at reception, and in the restaurant. I needed the fridge and freezer for a medicinal item and staff happily looked after that part without any hassle. Free ample onsite parking as I was driving so plus plus for me, just register at the reception. I stayed there for 3 nights and will definitely stay again !! 10/10 :-)

Nothing !! To be honest everything was so good and worked really well for us.
