I had a fantastic stay during my last visit to Edinburgh. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and I had no issues with my allergies, which is really important to me. The overall atmosphere, the pleasant smell, and the calm vibes made it a very relaxing place to stay. The staff were very helpful and kind throughout my stay. A special thank you to the cleaner, Cami — she’s a lovely lady and does a great job keeping everything spotless. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. The hotel restaurant also deserves a mention — the food was absolutely delicious! It was great to have such high-quality meals available on-site. The location is also convenient — about 10 to 15 minutes from the main streets of Edinburgh, which made it easy to explore the city while enjoying a quieter place to stay. Lastly, I really appreciated how the staff handled a situation where I forgot some of my things in the room. They were very helpful and kindly arranged to send everything back to me by post. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely stay here again

Location of the hotel and staff were very good. Ms. Rachel at the Reception Desk was very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was very boring. We stayed for 5 days and had the same breakfast every single day. Not one change in the main breakfast items. Also it would be great if we can keep the pork food items separate from other food items so that Veg and Muslim guests can eat the food without any hesitation. The food we had for Lunch and Dinner at the hotel was very tasty. However, a little more variety in the menu would be good.

Great location, 5-10 minutes' walk from Haymarket station. 10 minutes walk from The Usher Hall. Checking in was friendly, smooth and efficient. The room was very clean, well equipped and a good size. Bed was comfortable, bed linen was crisp and clean. En suite was fresh and clean with good quality toiletries included. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice (including vegetarian), fresh and nicely prepared. The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Good quality coffee too. We shall return here, this hotel will now become our regular one when we visit Edinburgh.

A minor niggle, we couldn't get the aircon to turn down to a low temperature at night. After a very hot first night, we left the window slightly ajar on the other nights, this worked perfectly well and the room temperature allowed us to sleep well..

The hotel felt very modern and clean. The layout of the room was lovely and spacious, with a fab bathroom. The added touch of the jetted bath was a great addition. The bed was very comfy too! The hotel is a five minute walk from Haymarket train station which is very handy and also within walking distance to Princes Street. The actual location of the hotel is removed from the hustle and bustle and in a lovely, quiet area.

Being given the option to book breakfast on arrival would have been good. I would have appreciated the staff offering an explanation as to why an additional £30 deposit was required on top of payment.

The location at Haymarket--especially for attending a match at Murrayfield--is excellent, and the property is surprisingly quiet for being at such a busy location. The room was a comfortable size and nicely clean. For people who are walkers, the Mile is not far away, and there are plenty of good restaurants in the neighborhood. The price was relatively competitive, especially during a game weekend, and we would be happy to stay there again.

Upon our arrival, the check-in staff seemed distracted and not terribly helpful. (Although I think there may have been a trainee that night, and so a bit of distraction on their side could have been expected.) The beds were a bit hard. But (strangely) the most off-putting thing was an extremely strong, artificial scent of air freshener in the lobby, each day we were there. It wasn't a particularly bad scent, just VERY strong.

The hotel was absolutely lovely..the staff were exceptional... great place.

The price a little high... for one night...we were back from Ireland for acdc in murrayfield... when we converted over to euros it was very expensive ..maybe for that price breakfast could have been thrown in for the price... I will stay again... its was lovely...but .maybe breakfast should be included when you reach a certain price for room .Thank you

The reception and breakfast staff were excellent. Everyone was very attentive. The hotel and my room were very clean. Everything functioned well.

Like so many new hotels, this hotel skimps on bathroom privacy. The bathrooms have only a thin glass door, with no latch. In my room, the A/C vent allowed drafts to push the door open. PLEASE, HOTEL DESIGNERS: Guests want / need / deserve basic levels of privacy in the bathroom. Also, cutting corners with shower design that allow water to spray all over the floor...another unfortunate trend.

The bedroom was spacious and immaculate. The bed's were very comfortable and was something we looked forward to after walking and exploring the city all day. The bathroom was a good size and the room was furnished well. It was modern, comfortable and clean. The location of the hotel was fantastic, I could not fault this at all, it is easy to walk to most places we only took one taxi for our whole trip. The restaurant staff were very friendly too.

The housekeeping was completed very late in the day. The lady did not knock until 3pm and this was when we had come back to re-charge our phones before going back out. When we left there was no one on reception to check us out (it was very early) but still this would of been much better. I originally booked this in October (we visited in Jan) and it was £553 for two days, this was very expensive. However, when we visited in Jan this was £89 a night which is much more reasonable.
