The location is very convenient, close to the centre and main sightseeing points, a few minute walk from the lovely Dean Village . The staff were nice and helpful. The room is spaceous and beds comfy. Everything was very clean. They had hair dryers, which I really appreciate. Nice stay for a good price!

The wifi wasn't working. The room does match the photos in description. It looks a bit like a psychiatric ward (not a lucky choice with the design and white everywhere 😅). Gives you a very unusual experience. If you don't mind, it actually makes it a bit interesting. Apart from that, the stay was very lovely and comfortable.

The area was rather quiet despite Haymarket being nearby, and it was a charming place to walk around. The staff were very welcoming and helpful when I needed assistance, and the rooms were spatious enough considering how many beds there were. There were small lockers as well for your valuables, which came in very handy!

Climbing into the bunk was awkward and sometimes a bit painful. The ladders are painful to step on and there is so little space between the bed and the bunk above it that it's difficult to get in and out, I kept bumping my head every time. Toilet paper tended to run out several times a day, so going was like playing Russian Roulette. Only one of the two cubicles on my floor had a sanitary bin for lady products and it was overflowing and left unemptied for 3 days.

Was clean and amiaizing stuff

I enjoyed staying in this hostel. I loved the easy going nature of the personnel, especially Luke. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen accesible for all the guest which was very practical. Generally speaking it was cleanly. The location is very close to the centre of Edinbourgh.

I had to buy earplugs because of some guests snoring extremely loudly.

A good clean hostel style hotel in the Haymarket area of Edinburgh. A couple of bus stops from the centre of the city. The accomodation is very clean and well run. A kitchen is available to make your own meals and a laundry service is also available. The check in is at the bar which is situated in a large comfortable lounge area. The Staff ,( Lucas & Pip) go out of there way to make you feel welcome. The beds are comfortable and clean, as are the bathrooms/ toilets. The accomodation is very reasonably priced compared to others. This is my second stay at this hotel and I will continue to use it.

I did not require it, but parking could be a problem. Cannot fault this accomodation.

Location is good. It’s not in the Old Town but very easy to get to. Close to centre. Good transport links. Friendly staff.

The cleaning could do with improvement. In the 3 nights I was there I didn’t see anyone had cleaned the bathroom. The shower drain was clogged with hair that I cleaned myself so the water would drain away. Rubbish was removed but that was the extent of the cleaning. The room was very hot & one small fan did nothing to make it more comfortable for sleep. The mattress was old and very uncomfortable. Bunks were 3 high and very little head space between the beds so it made sitting up awkward trying not to bang my head. Being metal framing you felt when someone moved in the bunks above. Also too many beds in the room (10) and only 1 shower and 1 toilet. It meant there was a queue for the bathroom in the mornings.

The hostel was situated right in the city center of Edinburgh the pod bed i was in was very comfortable the staff were very kind caring compassionate helpful considerste and have done a great job when I booked in on the Monday right through till this morning when I checked out there's a beer garden and a kitchen so you can cook your own food and store it in the fridge and freezer that's provided there's also a smoking garden at the back of the hostel aswell so makes it ideal for smoking the price was a steal aswell so I'm 100% going back absolutely loved the place

Bed was very comfortable and clean. Highlight was definitely the amazing staff who went above and beyond, gave us recommendations for the area and even posted my partners wallet back when he left it there. Exactly what you expect out of a hostel, we stayed in the double bed sharing room and didn't have a problem with any of the people. Short walk from main town - we stayed for the Fringe and found it a lovely location, if you don't mind the walking.

Double bed bathroom was tiny, difficult to change in it ect. Ultimately not too bad and very doable especially as we weren't staying to long.

From the time I checked in until the time I checked out 3 weeks later, I knew that the five-member staff operating the Hotel were sincerely concerned about all guest. There was the 'morning' info about the weather for the day, for example. Then upon returning at night, you met another member of staff, and they would in essence 'welcome you back', sincerely interested in how the day went. You could of course fix a dinner in the kitchen down stairs and have a glass of wine, not going out all the time. Then a little fun and chats before heading to the room and preparing to get a most comfortable and safe night's rest, prepared for the next day.
