We had a wonderful time staying at this hotel! We were lucky enough to book a room at last minute then were told they had moved us to penthouse suite, and it did not disappoint. The suite was incredibly spacious, and the beds were super comfortable, making for a very restful stay. My daughter was especially happy to have her own room, which made a huge difference during our visit. The breakfast was spot on—plenty of variety, and the staff were more than happy to cater to any special requests. If there was something specific we wanted, like a cooked item not immediately available, the team was more than willing to accommodate us. The location of the hotel was perfect. It’s right in the heart of everything, with local amenities, shops, and attractions all within walking distance. We didn’t have to worry about transportation, as everything we needed was right nearby. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in Glasgow.
The rain outside! My god does it rain!

Lovely hotel, had one of best rates in the centre. We found the location to br spot on. Didn't hear any noise at all despite our room being next to the stairwell. Staff were impeccable. Very welcoming and accommodating (especially when I ran out of water and had to ask reception in the early hours of the morning - big appreciation there for saving me) Breakfast was plentyful, one of the nicer breakfasts from a hotel chain. Room clean and comfortable for a night or 2.
The duvet wasn't quite big enough for 2 people sharing the double bed. Catalyst for a break up right there 😂 I note another review has mentioned this. I think a vending machine would be a good shout too if you want any drinks or snacks.

Staff very friendly , helpful & professional. Location great , room just right for our 2 night stay , everything you could want on the doorstep - local shops for milk for coffee in the room , great local pub for food & endless choice for cafes & restaurants. Very nice & friendly staff at breakfast with nothing too much trouble.
Horrible AI style pop music in reception & bar area - though thankfully not in breakfast area. Noticed the Bistro & bar area usually completely empty so maybe dreadful noise coming out the ceiling ( terrible computer type music ) frightens everyone away ? If I did a walk-in off the street looking to stay or try a meal I would definitely just turn around and walk straight out. Food and drinks at breakfast mostly cold on first day but better but not perfect on the second despite staff trying hard & doing temperature checks both days. Equipment / hot plates not up to the job ?

The staff were excellent from the get go, Wiktoria at the reception was so lovely and had gave us an upgrade for our room as we were celebrating getting married a week prior. She also gave us two complimentary drinks which was really appreciated. The room was lovely and clean, we have stayed several times at this hotel and have never had an issue! The breakfast was great and lots of choices available. It’s so central to everything in the city, bars, restaurants, cinema and shopping! Cannot recommend this place enough!
Nothing! Was great service!

More or less everything. From Reception staff who were especially helpful, to comfort and cleanliness in room. visit was linked to a hospital visit so the fact that staff were so supportive was much appreciated.
Short stay, so perhaps not so important, but room was a bit small for 2 people to relax in. The light switch for the desk which was hidden under the desk top and kept me awake all night. Please put signage directing to switch location! Found switch the next morning by going on my knees and looking under desk.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Glasgow City and couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean and tidy, which made for a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere throughout my visit. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always available to assist with any requests or questions I had. Their hospitality truly enhanced my stay. In addition to the excellent service, the location of the hotel was perfect. It was conveniently situated, making it easy to explore the vibrant city and its attractions. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Glasgow. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, it's a fantastic choice!

The room was very comfortable and extremely clean including the bathroom. Everything worked well.
Please provide more than a couple of tea bags. I like my tea and ran out Saturday evening and therefore didn't have any for a cuppa Sunday morning. Not a big issue but why not leave more. Lastly I booked a taxi Saturday night when retiring for 6:45 on Sunday morning. I questioned this with reception Sunday morning and the member of staff told me there was not record of this request. It wasn't an issue as he requested a cab immediately and it came at the allotted time but if I hadn't discussed this with reception it wouldn't have come?

The location of the Holiday Inn was absolutely perfect. Within metres of the Royal Concert Hall. Our overnight stay which included dinner at Bonne Auberge and breakfast the following morning was perfect. The accommodation was very clean, and appeared to have been refurbished. While not a big room, the beds were comfortable and there was no noise from either the adjoining rooms or from the busy road outside. The food in the restaurant below the hotel was very good. Great value with a set price on offer, and service both at dinner and at breakfast was excellent. We were particularly impressed by the staff. From the reception desk at checking in, to the restaurant staff and the Manager when we were checking out the following morning. Everyone was friendly, polite, helpful and efficient.
The only thing we found was the room was very warm so we did wake frequently throughout the night.

Excellent location. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good selection of food at breakfast. My room and the hotel were very clean.
I as happy to have a shower over the bath. However the bath had three large chips on the enamel and the shower curtain was very dated. The toilet flush button was behind the toilet lid so I had to lower the lid every time I wanted to flush the toilet. Limited wardrobe space. The ironing board was placed diagonally in the wardrobe. I had to remove it to get my clothes in. So the ironing board was sitting in my room during my stay as there was nowhere else to put it.

Location excellent. Room was very good for accessible requirements. Something not seen enough. Fantastic.
2nd night I could hear man in room next door talking on phone & whomever he was talking to, like they were in room with me!., from 10.30 pm till back of 1am!. Self service breakfast was good but would prefer tea, coffee was in pots, also would have liked to be offered assistance without having to ask, very busy & stressful 1st morning especially.
