I thought the beds were nice and comfortable, the front desk agents were kind and personable. The bar was good. It was a great central location in the central business district and steps from the Liverpool Lime Street train station. The breakfast was good, though my rate (or perhaps my Marriott status) only covered free breakfast for two people. I was able to connect my phone to the TV and watch YouTube on the TV.

One of my guests found the beds uncomfortable and it took a little bit to figure out the shower system. The toilet needed to be flushed 2 times to fully flush.

I have stayed at the hotel several times before. Those stays were work related but I’m now retired. I chose the hotel because of its close proximity to Lime Street Station and the city centre. The staff were extremely helpful in supplying information and getting taxis etc. They seem very well trained and friendly. The rooms I stayed in were spacious and generally comfortable. The weather was extremely hot and the water dispenser near to the main door is a nice touch although I presume they are now more common because people have their own water bottles.

The pillows were a bit soft for my liking but you can’t please everyone with things like that. There was some crazing in the bathroom wash basin.

Very comfortable room, a comfortable bed, good quality furniture. Everything was very clean. The lifts were very quiet and efficient. The breakfast staff were very friendly and went out of their way to find some Earl Grey tea when asked . I noted that they do top up things that are going down. The breakfast was good value for money. We also liked the fact that we could park the car in a safe space. Being unfamiliar with the city,It saved us the trouble of finding somewhere to park and we felt the cost was reasonable.

We didn't like the only way to get information about the facilities ,once in the room ,was only by way of bar codes to download on a phone. Paper form suits everyone. Old school maybe, but it would suit us better. For example, meal times and a menu for room service , restaurant menu etc in the room. Some leaflets for excursions and attractions to take away would be helpful in the foyer. The booklet is in general ,good, but it can't be taken away.

Best location possible. If you’re travelling to Liverpool by train, hotel is just opposite the train station. Hotel is also just outside Liverpool’s pedestrian area with all shopping centres, restaurants, bars, etc. Very convenient to place shopping bags during the day and for some rest when needed without the hassle to travel to and fro the centre area. Hotel rooms are spacious and clean. Staff were brilliant. If you’re also travelling to Cheshire Oaks designer outlet, the bus stop (Whitechapel SD) is just a 5 minute walk away. Brilliant hotel - will stay there whenever in Liverpool.

Nothing really except no hand shower and high bathroom to step in :)

The place was very beautiful and quie, very spacious rooms.t. Modern furniture which everyone likes and very clean.The members of staff are very polite and helpful than all the hotels i have been in Liverpool Would always come back again because I enjoyed my stay.

The bed which they gave us was split, there were two mattresses joined together to make one bed, this did not work for us as a couple, one of us was always in the middle. I did not sleep well, my back was hurting but apart from that, it's a great place to stay overall. Would definitely come back

Hotel is a very short walk away from the train station and right next to the bus station. The room is very clean. Breakfast spread was simple but sufficient. Love having sparkling water which was found next to the entrance before and after return to the hotel. Mariam from the reception is exceptionally patient and helpful and really make the check in very pleasant.

We gave a feedback to the staff about the shower water pressure and the thermostat. The water temperature was inconsistent; very cold and suddenly hot, making showering really unpleasant. The maintenance staff went to check but were to resolve the situation. The pillows are too soft.

THE ROOM SIZE WAS VERY GOOD AND THE BATHROOM WAS EXCELLANT THE TV RECEPTION COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER AS IT CONTINUALLY SAID WEAK RECEPTION BUT OVERALL THE ROOM WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AND THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL WAS VERY GOOD AND WE MADE USE OF THE UBER TAXI MACHINE IN RECEPTION. WE FOUND THE STAFF TO BE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL THROUGHOUT OUR STAY.

THE BAR / RESTAURANT WAS VERY SMALL AND HAD A VERY LIMITED MENU. THE BREAKFAST EXPERIENCE WAS VERY GOOD WITH VERY HELPFUL STAFF AND A GOOD CHOICE OF FOOD

Unfortunately the people in the next room must have invited friends back and they were partying until four o'clock. My wife and I found it impossible to sleep. I could have phoned reception and complained but kept thinking they would quieten down and remembering I was once young myself left them to it. We suffered for our lack of sleep the next day though. Felt very tired on drive home

The location was fantastic, couple of minutes walk from Lime street station. The reception staff were very welcoming, and helpful. We were allocated a family room on the top floor, the room was very spacious and cleaned to a high standard. The beds were comfortable, we had a great nights sleep. The room had lots of amenities Body wash, shampoo and conditioner were provided. Hairdryer, iron and ironing board, kettle with a selection of teabags and coffee, cans of spring water and an ice bucket. There was an ice machine located on the corridor. Checkout was at 12 however our train was not until 5pm they had a secure room where we could keep our luggage. Would definitely recommend and we would definitely use again.

The breakfast was nice with a good selection of food (although as expected for a hotel) and the pastries were especially nice and fresh. The room was clean and quiet. The hotel is in a very handy location and all staff were really friendly.

The only thing wrong was the price which was 3x the price on the day I stayed than on the day I booked, and cost more than the ticket to the gig I was going to see. I know all hotels do that and it's just business, but it's not nice feeling a bit ripped off and takes the shine off the whole event. It's twice the price of my monthly rent!
