amazing friendly and welcoming staff. They explain everything very well. It's open 24 hours. The 2 kitchens are nice with 1 social room with a TV. There is 1 security guard.

The staff were all very helpful in a proactive manner. Katie was unbelievable but not the only one. Well beyond the call of duty. Internet was fast and furious as well as reliable. But my favourite is the kitchen despite having restricted access during too many hours and one cannot have a cuppa tea until eight. A kettle in the lounge would suffice, me thinks

The deposit for key has to be cash in an area where there are no ATMs. Staff try to justify this with poor arguments with no realisation that if you have been around the hostel circle this is without doubt the worse system around.

Friendly staff on the reception trying to create a cozy atmosphere, Excellent location - just 5 minutes walk from Tate Britain, window views are also great - Westminster, etc. the sink in the room was also quite convenient.

Breakfast was quite cheap - GBP 3.50 but poor (IMHO) and hot inside the canteen. A couple of fans during the hot period would be nice.

I stayed at Astor Victoria for a week. The staff is fantastic and super helpful and caring. While the facility is modest as one would expect for a hostel, the staff is very responsive to resolve any issues. For instance, my room's heat was not working. They were able to fix it in a few days and in the meantime, a space heater and extra blankets were brought in promptly which did the trick.

Nothing really. Good value for the money. The lounge smelled a little the first day I arrived but it was cleaned up and the smell was gone the following day.

Cheap, clean and nice hostel. Friendly staff. Spacious kitchen. I didn't like that there was only one spot to charge your electronics for the whole room, it will be nice to have sockets and small shelf around every bed to be able to charge your devices while sleeping. I wasn't confortable to leave my stuff for the night exposed. The other thing was that was quite noisy from the people next door. They was slamming the door very hard but I think it's from the door itself. Anyway I expected some noice since I am in a hostel. Overall good experience, close to the tube and will visit again. :))

The hostel was always very clean, both the kitchen and the toilets and showers. The staff were nice and helpful. The location was also good, in a street with many hotels, so I found it safe at night. Remember to bring your own padlock, or they will charge you £7,50 if you want one.

On the hottest days, the room would be very hot, with only one fan for the entire room (not sufficient, of course). There was also only one outlet, with an extension that did not reach all the beds, which is very inconvenient. The bedroom door is very noisy, which was not pleasant for people who were sleeping. In the shower, there is no shelf or anything of the sort to hold your toiletries, you need to put them on the floor.

Nice smelling , a mixture of Boadicea and Trudon. The dom perign-pong was a welcome distraction after the caviar and trufles we took in the master bedroom which was well equipped with Frette linens and Clive Christian furniture

My journey started with changing my reservation dates as I needed changes for my flight. The stuff helped me to rebook the dates. Awesome help. Now I am staying here, clean kitchen, toilets and bathroom. Toilet sink is super smol in size so difficult to wash face and brush teeth but still, the toilet paper, soap, room spray etc are provided and helps to have nice resting area after indian foods lol. You need to wash your dishes in the kitchen. You can also cook for yourself and store your food in fridges! Tea and coffee is available until kitchen closes. Theres no AC but fans everywhere! You will feel chill with these. Luggage room is also very practical and its great they have CCTV. I paid for mixed room but all were men so I asked for a women room since I wouldn't like to be only woman in a mixed room. They helped me to switch my room! Beda are comfortable. The bedsheets are super clean and nicely ironed. Under beds there are locking cage area and this is the best to fit your belongings. Its always good to being your own lock yet they still can help you with this. Reception seems not very good tho. Still you may access wifi by only registering your email address. 15 mins to Victoria Station. Easy to walk around for historical and cultural places. Thank you!

The place was immaculate, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, always greeting guests with cheerful smiles. Throughout my stay, they maintained a professional attitude, demonstrating their attentiveness and willingness to help whenever I needed assistance.

The short Asian/Indian gentleman should focus on improving his customer service skills and learn effective ways to handle issues with clients. The staff are so helpful, considerate and accommodating. I’d like to personally mention Katie who always makes sure my stays are comfortable. She always looks out for me from ensuring my bed and room is very comfortable and to my liking to doing very helpful things like keeping my belongings safe when I check out or need to leave, to giving great tips and advice about different errands I need to run when I’m London. The staff as a whole are so wonderful, so friendly and approachable. I feel safe, happy and comfortable when I’m at Astor Victoria! The facilities are kept clean. I feel very happy using their toliets and showers. The rooms are very warm so you don’t freeze. And they always have the heaters on. If the rooms is too hot they provide a fan.
