LOCATION! The hotel was walking distance from a major transit hub (Victoria Station) and many local cafes, pubs and shops. Local bus route right outside the door. Area was safe, quiet and beautiful. Hotel was clean, quiet and always smelled nice when you stepped inside. Room had a heater and portable fan but no a/c so it was great in the cool season. Black out curtains were good for sleeping. Room was super basic but ok if all you need is basic. They provide you with room service from an outside service if needed.

It was very tiny, but I knew this before coming. I had done my research and saw that this was typical for London. I just wanted a safe and quiet place to sleep and that’s what I got. The room and bathroom was comparable to a cruise stateroom. But it was clean and comfortable enough. It’s a boutique hotel, not a Hyatt. The one thing I wished it had that I felt it could have provided was water or a tiny fridge to keep water. If I had to pick something that would be it.

The location is excellent for a tourist. It is between Thames and Westminster Cathedral (Buckingham Palace is also nearby). There are many cafes and pubs close to the hotel. The services (water, cleanness, wifi) are good. The stuff is friendly. Individual rooms are very tight; a great possibility to live like Harry Potter in the cupboard under the stairs.

The individual rooms are located near the lift and have L-form with narrow passages. It feels really tight because of the L-form. The mini-table, the shower, even the sink: everything is small and tight. I suggest the double room which has a normal form and a big bed, and the price is almost the same.

Small but spotless rooms no air con but had a fan , lovely staff & comfy bed also has a lift . Although no breakfast provided there’s plenty of places to eat not far away & a large Sainsbury’s around five minutes walk away & a Witherspoons within walking distance . Best thing about this hotel is the Number 24 bus from across the road which takes you to central areas of London Big Ben , Houses of Parliament Piccadilly , Trafalgar Square plus many other places & getting back was easy as the no 24 bus ( if caught on the opposite side of the road ) when out drops you off straight outside the hotel . We only used the Underground once . Good value for money at this hotel & will return .

Can’t really complain about anything , had an enjoyable stay.

Location was brilliant. Approximately 20 minutes walk to Buckingham Palace, then easy to walk to parliament square ect from there. LOTS of shops, food places round the corner, bus stop outside the door. The room was small and bathroom even smaller but that was no problem in all honesty. Staff on hand through the day and night and they are friendly. Very clean and has a lift so made going 2 floors up a lot easier.

The only downside was the bed. It had a very visible dip in the mattress, the base was coming apart and had a slight tear in it at the bottom. Mattress could do with being replaced as it was not comfy so we slept on top of the quilt to make it a little comfier. Even with this issue being in London it was worth the money.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff who were always available. Very clean room which would have been nice and quiet if not for the people in the room above it. Good shower. Decent location.

I wish these hotels could insulate their floors better. To be fair, it's a common problem but still a real one. We were in a basement room which was otherwise nice and quiet but the people in the room above stomped and talked loudly from about 1am-3am. They were probably actually just walking around and talking normally all that time- constant walking around was strange but obviously to be allowed in your own hotel room - but the poor sound insulation meant we really suffered and couldn't sleep during that time.

Great experience at Lidos Hotel! The elevator was a huge plus since I had heavy luggage—this feature alone set the hotel apart from many others near Victoria. The location is fantastic, just a 10-minute walk from Victoria station and coach station, and the 24 bus stops directly opposite, making trips to Oxford Street and the West End super easy. Pimlico is a lovely neighborhood with a convenient Waitrose supermarket right around the corner. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room itself was nicely appointed, complete with a tea kettle. I’d definitely stay here again!

The room was one of the smallest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in—think of it more as a cozy cabin on a train or yacht.

Near Pimlico and Victoria stations (about 8 minutes by walking), which is great if you come from the airport. A few cafes, markets and restaurants around. The room has a few ammenities (kettle, mug, tea bags, biscuits etc.). Arrived two hours earlier, but the staff managed to make the room so I didn't have to wait long to check-in.

The room is so cramped you can barely open your luggage and pack/unpack your belongings. The mattress seemed old, I could feel the springs in the middle. Sink is tiny, had to be careful no to wet the floor whilst the tap was open. The room can get too warm, even in the winter, and the windows are locked, so you know why threre is a fan in the room. Allergy sufferers - carpet flooring. Stayed at the 3rd floor. I'd recommend for shorts stays.

Great location, a 20 minute walk to Westminster, 5 minutes to Pimlico Station and lots of nice shops and coffee shops 2 minutes away. Felt very safe. Staff at Lidos are extremely helpful and friendly. Only downside was lift broke just before we arrived but not a problem. Bed comfortable, had all we needed for a 1 night stay. Highly recommend, particularly if you book as a last minute as price is fabulous in comparison to other London hotels in the area.

Nothing, great value for money, great staff and great location .

Perfect location, beautyful neighbourhood, nice street, close to all the lower London sites (big ben..etc) Very friendly and helpful staff, renovated rooms and safe elevator (I get agitated when its old). The building, for its age and size was well structured. The room was small but had enough space for two big suitcases staying open, without giving you trouble moving. Many usb plugs in the room, you dont really need a convector. Bus No 24 right outside, takes you downtoun

Didnt have a brush for the toilet...

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room offered coffee, tea, and chocolate with cookies. We have got a free lollipop 🍭 at the reception. Cleaning every day with clean towels. The location was perfect. You can walk or ride the big red bus right from the doors of the hotel!! After a very bad experience with Airbnb, we booked the hotel, and after few minutes we arrived at something very nice and clean exactly like the pictures.

The little minus was the room was next to the toilets so in the early morning you could hear walking around your doors.
