The staff was extremely helpful. Quite literally the most heartwarming and kind people I've met throughout a long series of trips. Very understanding, helped with my baggage and overall just an amazing experience. The hotel is super cozy and really gives off that old-London vibe.

The bed's aren't great to sleep on, but that's okay. Due to the location, everyone should be aware that you will be prompted with lots of noise, especially during the night, but you're central. There wasn't a lot of hygiene products (I've barely had soap for the length of my stay), but I could have probably reached out for more.

The host was lovely. My mum had declined in health since booking it and I did not think to mention it to her and she had us on the second floor. However we did not even go up the stairs to the reception before she made changes and upgraded us so my mam could stay on the ground floor so no stairs for her. The host still was polite the days that followed and not annoyed that I did not mention anything about my mums ill health. For that I was grateful and it made the stay even better. They even came in and cleaned everyday which I was not expecting but again grateful. There was a number 24 bus that could get us to the hop on off buses, Trafalgar Square and Big Ben without having to walk for my mum, which was a massive bonus for my mum and her limited walking.

The bathroom door did not close fully so not fully private when going to the toilet. But I was with my mum and daughter so not to big of a deal.

A typically compact budget single room. However, a lovely and rather elegant decor, as opposed to the usually more sterile budget room. Photos are very true Terrific location. 15 min walking distance to Victoria rail, Gatwick Express, Victoria Underground, and Pimlico underground. 15-20 min walk to Tate Britain. If you enjoy walking, a very doable walk past Buckinhgam Palace, via The Mall, to Trafalgar Square. Quieter end of Belgrave St. Attractive area with a number of local pubs and restaurants At q

As the hotel makes clear, there is no lift, which could pose a problem for some Would have welcomed one more hook on bathroom door

Location was excellent as it's close to the train station in a very nice area. Staff were friendly and professional as well as helpful. Beds were comfortable and they had fans available for use when the weather was warmer.

The bathroom addition added within the room in the corner with the plumbing outside of the room was less than desirable as the noise was at a level that woke one up if used during the night. The room was also tight on space, but then again this could be my fault as I did not check to see the full room size prior to booking.

We enjoyed our stay in the Blades Hotel very much. Our room was small but clean and cozy and was very adequate. We did not hear any street noise and slept well. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The location is quite convenient: less than a five-minute walk from a nice little coffee shop, a great Indian restaurant, a good pub, and an underground station, and longer but easy walks to several popular tourist spots, e.g. Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey, the Parliament Building, and the London Eye. We recommend the Blades and we will certainly stay there again if our travels take us to London.

The only slight negative about our stay is that there is no elevator so getting to the upper floors was a bit of a hike, but this was mentioned on their website so we were forewarned.

Super location near the subway station, walking distance to Victoria station. Very kind and helpful staff who offered us a free room upgrade, even though they didn't have to. Basic, but clean and fully sufficient conditions for a stay in London, focused not on staying at a hotel, but exploring London. The teapot was a nice extra touch. Accommodation in London is generally expensive. Under these circumstances, the price-quality ratio for this hotel is excellent!

No complaints. This is a budget hotel, so everything was great in this category.

Very clean and comfortable with Friendly welcome. It's a small hotel and reception closes at 10 and there's no breakfast - neither of which were a problem for me. Room was a bit hot but on the rear which was very quiet so i could have the window open and there's were two fans in the room!

Shower flow was very small, I guess the top floor... but fine.

Very close to the American Embassy, and Victoria which we needed for Gatwick plus the theatre

My god daughter and I were originally booked into a room on the 4th floor, after your receptionist watched us struggle the flight of stairs to reception for check in( as I am 75 years old and knees a bit dodgy) she kindly gave us a room on the ground floor, which one of the cleaners carried my case down for me which was very kind,

Great property for location and value. Staff were incredibly friendly and accomodating. The only negative side was the overwhelming heat during our stay but we were well informed that the room did not have air conditiong. The room was prepared with numerous fans which was a huge bonus.

A beautiful old property in a grand residential road. High ceilings. Sense of space. Lovely light. Great location right near Pimlico tube. And 10 minutes walk from Victoria.

The room was a bit cramped so that eg the kettle was on a table under where your clothes were hanging. Tiny basin so impossible to fit kettle under tap.
