I want to say that this rating is about the expectations of a 3-star hotel. And there are absolutely no complaints in this regard. We took a room for two with two separate beds. Yes, the room is not big, there is no closet for clothes and that is the only thing that is noticeable. But our stay here was a tour of London and the room was used practically only for sleeping. Considering the location, it is an ideal choice because all types of public transport are close by, and some sights are easily accessible on foot. So, the experience with our stay in room 404, in the context of 3 stars, makes this hotel a very good accommodation in an ideal location for a tourist tour of London.

The only complaint is that there is no wardrobe for clothes. If I were them, I would remove the part along the wall with the coat hangers and put a smaller wardrobe there because there is room for it. I'm talking about room 404

Great location, quiet neighbourhood, not much traffic in the street at night so one can sleep well. No. 24 bus stop just in front of the hotel. A/C available and it can be regulated individually. Noises made by guests in the hotel is completely different matter and it happens almost everywhere. Beds are very comfortable, l slept better than at home 😁 The room was rather clean. There was a tea/coffee set provided - not only tea and coffee was available but even milk. Good breakfast, enough choices even for a vegetarian. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. It is possible to leave luggage after the check-out (free of charge) and there is a bathroom you can use, too.

The room was really small with a tiny washbasin in a tiny bathroom. Although good enough for a few days for one person, l can imagine how cramped it must be for two. No hooks for towels next to the washbasin (fortunately l always carry my own). The shower was ok, there was always hot water, but l wouldn't put the shower gel dispenser on the right, it is not convenient, it would be much better on the left of the shower. The room was for two but there was only one chair and it definitely lacked at least a little table.

Such a nice warm welcome when we arrived from a long journey. We made our way to the room and oh wow absolutely beautiful, the smell of freshness hit us. The room was immaculate, the bed was so comfortable! I was over the moon with the fan as it was very hot. Reception staff are so nice and a massive plus was the hotel had a lift. It's perfectly situated, 10 min walk to Buckingham Palace road, so many restaurants a minutes walk away. Highly recommend Mildred's!

Everything was perfect

The staff were lovely, my daughter was exhausted after travelling and they allowed us to check in early. They also accommodated my friend who was needing to work for the afternoon. They couldn't have been nicer. The beds were comfy and the room was clean, I also liked that the building was old so it made the layout of the building a little maze like and that was fun.

When we went into the room, it smelled very strongly of something like lynx deodorant. Thankfully, the windows could be opened a few inches.

The staff is excellent and very helpful. Breakfast is good with variety of choices. Location is perfect in a very clean and safe neighborhood. Rooms are small, but very functional and beds give you good night sleep. It is a good value for your money in the city center close to public transport. Bus no. 24 across the street takes you directly to Victoria stadion, Trafalgar square and Camden Town🥰.

The shower does not have a shower handle and the water preassure is weak, so it is a little difficult to take a good scrub.

Excellent location as a starting point for exploring London. Small pleasant hotel.

I missed fried eggs and sausages for breakfast. Otherwise satisfaction.

The hotel was about a 5 minute or so walk to Victoria Station / Victoria Station Bus Terminal When we had questions on how to get to different locations or asking for suggestions on where to get dinner, they were able to suggest many places, most of which were in walking distance from the hotel. Housekeeping kept the room clean and the continental breakfast was very good. We skipped breakfast one day to go out for a standard English breakfast. The hotel location made it easy to get to the Underground (subway), on a prebooked tour bus or get tickets to Hop-on / Hop-off buses that stop at different tourist locations.

While we had a large oscillating fan in the room, it did get a bit warm on some evenings. Having an air conditioner would have been nice, but it wasn't necessary for most nights. From what I understand, air conditioners are not standard in a number of hotels.

It was clean , great value for money in a great location. Staff mostly showed great attention to detail and any needs raised were dealt with ASAP.

The lift was a bit smelly and frankly grotty. On arrival, I was told I needed I.D.i. said I don't carry my passport when in England, I.e. at home, and all I had were credit and debit cards and my coach card. She said she still needed I D .so I said I have booked and paid for a 2 night stay, so what were they doing about it ? She said she would let it go this time. I have seen other places that say bring photo I d. I have, and it's not been looked at . There is nothing on my paperwork as far as I can see, so this needs making clear beforehand if it's required.

The location is incredible. The hotel is within a short walk of many of the desired sites including Westminster, the palace, the London Eye and much more. Being so central eliminates the need to spend half an hour or more travelling into the city each day if staying further out, and you’ll often walk instead. There are a great deal of food options nearby the hotel, as well as Sainsburys which makes it the prime spot to stay. The hotel is also super close to the Apollo Theatre which is home to some amazing shows, such as Wicked.

The walls were a tad thin and guests could be heard arriving or leaving between 4-5am on our first night, however, the staff were aware and did their best to ask the guests to quieten down.

Great hotel in a super location. The beds were really comfy and the shower was basic but had great water pressure. Storage space was included and the TV had plenty of channels. Our only problems were that the floorboards in the floor above us were very noisy (as were our own) and, as we were right near the stairs to the breakfast area, guests could be heard outside our room frequently in the mornings. So bring earplugs!
