Comfortable, pleasant surroundings, excellent customer service.

No washcloths, it’s a minor thing, but inconvenient; most people were not aware of the Belgrave Road or the hotel’s location. Every taxi driver took me to or arrived at a hostel with a similar name but with a different address number. Your website needs to be updated.

The hotel was very well located - in easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and 2 underground train stations. The first thing we noticed on arrival at The Belgrave was the friendliness of the staff and both the hotel lobby and bar were beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our room was very clean with a lovely array of quality toiletries and we had a lovely Christmas tree on our balcony which made it feel very festive! The breakfast buffet was very good, had plenty of seating and was attended to by very friendly, efficient staff. The bar prices were very reasonable, especially for London, so we enjoyed nightcaps every evening. In conclusion we would definitely return to The Belgrave and have no trouble recommending this hotel to others.

The only fault we found was the bed - it was dipping on one side so my husband felt he was falling out!! Maybe a check on beds and mattresses would be a good idea for the management ongoing! Apart from that there was nothing to dislike.

Everything! We've travelled to London regularly and this was our first time staying at The Belgrave hotel. We couldn't fault a thing. The breakfast gave a good choice of food and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was always clean and tidy. The location was really good with public transport, shopping, and tourist spots close by, along with a massive choice of good restaurants within walking distance. We found the beds very comfortable and the chaise lounge in our room got a lot of use relaxing on return to the hotel. We will definitely be booking a room at your hotel on our next trip to the UK.

Honestly can't think of anything - maybe add a complimentary glass of champagne upon arrival? It's such a gorgeous facility with great history, it seems like that would be appropriate!

The breakfast was continental but you could pay £6 extra for a cooked breakfast. The room was small but typical of central London. The location is close to Victoria Station and therefore convenient for getting to most parts of London by tube or train. The local area has plenty of nice restaurants and bars. We particularly enjoyed our meal at Stone & Grill. The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly and the hitel itself was spotless. Great value for money.

The pillow was quite thin and there were no other pillows in the room, however I'm sure if I had asked, I could have got one from reception

Room wasn’t big but it sort of had everything one needs. Same goes for breakfast- it wasn’t very generous but it was enough. You can order extra items from the menu for additional fee. Area is quiet- not a peep from the street. What I really loved about the place is their staff. Reception people were just great, very helpful and friendly. I don’t know any names regretfully but they all were awesome. Cleaning lady and young man from the breakfast were also most friendly.

I liked the place, BUT Unfortunately you can hear everything that’s happening around you. You are screwed if you are a light sleeper, because somehow just people walking in the room above you would be very very noisy. So regretfully I didn’t have much sleep and was tired all the time. If you can- ask for the room at the top floor.

Staff welcoming and friendly. The premises were clean, well-maintained, and tidy, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast had a good variety of options to suit different tastes. Overall, a good experience—I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would love to stay here again!

There were a couple of downsides to the room. The floor was quite creaky, which could be a bit disruptive, especially at night. Additionally, the bathroom had a large window with a direct view of the shower, which felt like a lack of privacy. Thankfully we were able to close the blinds.

I stayed here for work so I essentially only slept here and did not use many facilities. However, I was very pleased with my room, especially for a single room in London – the bed felt big enough for two people! Of course, the room itself was small, with essentially room for a bed and some walking space around it and a desk against one wall, but unless you're staying in the room a lot this is not a problem. I also enjoyed how the single rooms seemed to be one per floor, in the stairway (which the vast majority of people do not use!), so it was quiet and private and I didn't have to worry about inconsiderate couples next door or above. I've seen many hotels treat single rooms without the care they give the doubles, so the fact this hotel resists lowering its standards for single rooms is very welcomed.

The air was very, very dry in my room and I ended up straining my airways. I can't fault the hotel as I did not reach out to staff to rectify it (honestly, waking up in the night after a long day, tired and thirsty, the energy it would take to call reception isn't possible), so this is more a warning for other people – if you find it dry, please ask for a humidifier before bed as it took two-to-three weeks for my breathing to normalise. Again, the hotel can only know if you speak up about it. I've looked through other reviews and see no mentions of dry air, so it could even have been unique to my room and something I'm sensitive to. Just act if you do notice the same.

Hotel location is in a rather quiet neighborhood. It is less than 10min walk to the nearest underground station (Pimlico), but don't walk all the way from victoria (A bit more than 15min). The staff was friendly, but not always very cheerful. Breakfast was very good, with a good selection of ham, cheese and bread. No bacon and eggs in the continental, but was enough anyway. Be careful, after 10am on weekends the coffee machine stops automatically and you need to ask the staff for a coffee/tea. The hotel has a very nice look to it and though the room are rather small, they are confortable for 2 adults. Shower was nice and there is a tea kettle and a coffee machine. Bed was very confortable.

The check-in time is rather late though common nowadays. There are no shutters, and the curtain do not stop much of the day's light, so if you like dark room it is not the best. The hotel is not very well sound-proofed. We could hear the cars in the street, as well as the people upstairs showering. Fortunately it was not too early.

The location of the hotel was perfect, walking distance from Victoria station and a buss stop right in front of the hotel. It was easy to visit different parts of the city by using public transportation. Our room was cozy and clean. Hotel staff was friendly and we got to leave our luggage’s in reception before our room was ready.

Breakfast was very basic, we would have wished for more vegetables and fruits. Also if you want to have warm dishes like English breakfast you needed to pay extra for them. We had two rooms and the other one had leaking window in the bathroom which made the room chilly. Also you could hear voices from other rooms and traffic in your room.
