Really good value for money in Central London walking distance from major tube station. But what really made the stay was the helpfulness and kindness of the staff. For example, we accidentally overslept our first night and just missed the breakfast window, but they kindly accommodated us anyway. They were helpful with direction and tips on how to get places as well. For a lower budget stay, this place was a great option. Thank you!

In our 80's so up and down to the third floor was somewhat challenging.

All the staff were wonderful. The two brothers (i am bad with names and mainly told them apart by their shirts) were delightful. The staff were good with providing information as needed. The breakfast was included and had good choices and good coffee. The rooms have everything you need. We liked the neighborhood it was in. It has a small town kind of feel but still in a good location. You can walk to sites such as westminster abbey and Trafalgar square. The bus 24 right in front of hotel, and Victoria and Pimlico stations are very convenient to take you anywhere you need to go. I would book here again. It is very well run and inviting.

They were very up front about it but no air conditioner or lift. We were here during a very hot time and it was not near as bad as it could have been. It probably bothered my nephew more but the fan was OK. I was on the ground floor so the lift didn't bother me too much but I had a recent surprise hip replacement it might have been problematic on a higher floor. That being said I knew up front and it was my choice to keep reservation. I thought the hotel was more than adequate. It could use a little reno but it was clean and not too bad.

The owners and staff at Luna Simone made us feel really at home. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. They answered our many questions about the best restaurants, sights and modes of transportation to get around to the city and out to Heathrow. The location is terrific, a five minute walk to the Underground stations at Pimlico and to Victoria. I like to take long walks in the morning and Luna Simone is a short walk to the Thames Path on the South Bank. Breakfast was very satisfying and was a fun time to talk to Bernard, Peter and Tony before we headed out each morning. It is now our go-to place to stay in London.

I really can't think of anything that I did not like.

The staff are exceptional. Mark, Tony, Bernard, and the front desk lady (sorry I didn't catch her name) were so incredibly helpful with anything we needed. When we needed directions, we were given a map, directions on how and where to catch the bus, how the subway and bus systems worked, and best options. We got a whole list of local restaurants that were recommended. My suitcase had broken, and I asked about a store that might have small screws to fix it, and they let me borrow a screwdriver and gave me a whole set of small parts to choose from, so I could fix my luggage! Breakfast was amazing- good coffee, full breakfast options each day, with great service from the above. They are a full service family company! We were lucky to have a basement room, which was wonderful, because it was a heat wave when we were there, and there is no AC, but our room was cooler, and had a fan to blow on us all the time.

AC would be the only improvement- and they said they are hoping to have that upgrade soon.

The room was very clean, well decorated and comfortable. The location was brilliant, just a 10 minute walk from Victoria railway station, underground station, theatre land and Buckingham Palace a few minutes further. There are many small restaurants and eating places from most cultures literally just around the corner. A short trip on the tube will take you to any London landmark and you can walk all the way back from Borough Market along the the South Bank past the London Eye via Vauxhall Bridge in a few hours. The rooms are not palatial, but given you are in one of the poshest, most sought after areas in London, you are certainly not sardines either. All the staff were cheery and extremely helpful and the price includes a nice breakfast. Would happily stay again.

Can’t think of anything major. A couple of minor niggles: The room could get a little stuffy at night (October). There were a couple of fans but we preferred to open the window a little. The tap in the basin was rather fierce and you had to open it very carefully to avoid getting wet.

I really did enjoy my stay in this lovely hotel, I have spent five nights in this hotel, and would definitely come back when next in London. Breakfast is great and with a wide range of choices, I hadn’t got tired of it even on my fifth day. Staffs are very friendly and engaging. Hotel is well refurnished and with decent decor, my room is equipped with everything I need, very comfortable and cozy. Transport is convenient, a bus stop is just opposite the hotel, and takes me to major attractions in central London, 2 tubes stations are both within a short walking distance from the hotel.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable room. All the essentials were there. The staff were so friendly, and the breakfast, while basic, was superb and filling. The location is fantastic, less than 10 minute walk from Victoria & Pimlico stations. Honestly, couldn't fault it for the price!

We were warned of both these things in advance so it doesn't detract from the overall rating - but be aware there is no lift and some of the rooms are up several flights of stairs. This was fine for us, but may be tricky for anyone with mobility issues. Also, no air conditioning. There were fans in the room that helped a lot, but the room was quite warm. This was fine for us, as the weather was 23/24 degrees while we stayed there, so we managed with the fans. However, I imagine if it was any hotter it wouldn't be pleasant.

The hotel’s location is perfect, with close proximity to the main landmarks of London. The hotel staff were very polite and hospitable. The English breakfast was hearty and delicious. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

There are only two things to note. The first is the room premise—it’s very small and a bit old, but we knew about it beforehand. The second is the heating. We stayed in February, and the heating was operational only during certain time intervals, starting from late evening until morning. Thus, the room temperature was not comfortable, as we were used to a higher room temperature. Perhaps this applies to all facilities in England, as in most places, the room temperature was not satisfactory.
