Cleanliness, cheerful staff and an excellent breakfast.

In our 80's so up and down to the third floor was somewhat challenging.

All the staff were wonderful. The two brothers (i am bad with names and mainly told them apart by their shirts) were delightful. The staff were good with providing information as needed. The breakfast was included and had good choices and good coffee. The rooms have everything you need. We liked the neighborhood it was in. It has a small town kind of feel but still in a good location. You can walk to sites such as westminster abbey and Trafalgar square. The bus 24 right in front of hotel, and Victoria and Pimlico stations are very convenient to take you anywhere you need to go. I would book here again. It is very well run and inviting.

They were very up front about it but no air conditioner or lift. We were here during a very hot time and it was not near as bad as it could have been. It probably bothered my nephew more but the fan was OK. I was on the ground floor so the lift didn't bother me too much but I had a recent surprise hip replacement it might have been problematic on a higher floor. That being said I knew up front and it was my choice to keep reservation. I thought the hotel was more than adequate. It could use a little reno but it was clean and not too bad.

The staff are exceptional. Mark, Tony, Bernard, and the front desk lady (sorry I didn't catch her name) were so incredibly helpful with anything we needed. When we needed directions, we were given a map, directions on how and where to catch the bus, how the subway and bus systems worked, and best options. We got a whole list of local restaurants that were recommended. My suitcase had broken, and I asked about a store that might have small screws to fix it, and they let me borrow a screwdriver and gave me a whole set of small parts to choose from, so I could fix my luggage! Breakfast was amazing- good coffee, full breakfast options each day, with great service from the above. They are a full service family company! We were lucky to have a basement room, which was wonderful, because it was a heat wave when we were there, and there is no AC, but our room was cooler, and had a fan to blow on us all the time.

AC would be the only improvement- and they said they are hoping to have that upgrade soon.

I really did enjoy my stay in this lovely hotel, I have spent five nights in this hotel, and would definitely come back when next in London. Breakfast is great and with a wide range of choices, I hadn’t got tired of it even on my fifth day. Staffs are very friendly and engaging. Hotel is well refurnished and with decent decor, my room is equipped with everything I need, very comfortable and cozy. Transport is convenient, a bus stop is just opposite the hotel, and takes me to major attractions in central London, 2 tubes stations are both within a short walking distance from the hotel.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable room. All the essentials were there. The staff were so friendly, and the breakfast, while basic, was superb and filling. The location is fantastic, less than 10 minute walk from Victoria & Pimlico stations. Honestly, couldn't fault it for the price!

We were warned of both these things in advance so it doesn't detract from the overall rating - but be aware there is no lift and some of the rooms are up several flights of stairs. This was fine for us, but may be tricky for anyone with mobility issues. Also, no air conditioning. There were fans in the room that helped a lot, but the room was quite warm. This was fine for us, as the weather was 23/24 degrees while we stayed there, so we managed with the fans. However, I imagine if it was any hotter it wouldn't be pleasant.

The hotel’s location is perfect, with close proximity to the main landmarks of London. The hotel staff were very polite and hospitable. The English breakfast was hearty and delicious. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

There are only two things to note. The first is the room premise—it’s very small and a bit old, but we knew about it beforehand. The second is the heating. We stayed in February, and the heating was operational only during certain time intervals, starting from late evening until morning. Thus, the room temperature was not comfortable, as we were used to a higher room temperature. Perhaps this applies to all facilities in England, as in most places, the room temperature was not satisfactory.

Location was close to where most tours pick up and drop off and had a lot of restaurants and 3 supermarkets. The staff was the friendliest I've ever seen. Breakfast was included and was served at the tables every morning (not a buffet). Hotel was really clean too.

Rooms are on the smaller side and there is no air conditioning, but both of those are as advertised. I was nervous about not being able to sleep without AC in June, but even during a heatwave, the building stayed pretty cool at night, probably because it's made of stone.

The location and the hosts are the best thing about this property! Run by a family, Luna & Simone is a gem that should not miss during your visit to London. The hotel is well located, very clean and very friendly and kind owners. They take care of every need and interest in all the guests. Welcome with a warm smile and great breakfast. The hotel is close to all the tourist attractions, Victoria Station and has a lot of nice restaurants and bars around. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel that takes you to all the attractions..

We were on the 4th floor of the property with no elevators, so every time we had to come down for breakfast and go out meant a good workout. The owners had informed us about no elevators as soon as we booked the hotel, so we were mentally prepared for it.

The location was good,close to both Victoria Coach Station and the train station/underground and taxi ranks, making it very accessible for all of the major tourist sites. The hotel staff were very welcoming and accommodating, and were also very knowledgeable when it came to giving directions and transport information. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean. My friend and I had a room each and we were very satified with the facilities within it, tea/coffee, telephone, etc. The bed was very comfortable and the water was hot in the shower and of a good pressure. There were free toiletries for use. We were only there for two nights and all of the linen and towels were changed each day and of good quality. The breakfast included cereals, toast, and your choice of English breakfast components, and there was plenty of it. There is no lift in the hotel, as it is an original Victorian building, but this is made known in advance. My friend and I are 70+ and managed the stairs ok. If in doubt I would suggest contacting the hotel as I am sure they will try and accommodate any mobility issues raised, if they can. The security was excellent, with minisafes in the rooms, and all of the internal doors leading to the stairs, had extra security, as well as the main outside doors. All of the staff made us feel extremely at home and there was a great atmosphere overall enjoyed with the staff and other travellers.

There wasn't anything to dislike. I would definitely stay there again when visiting London.
