I was first drawn to this hotel because of the positive reviews I saw about the cleanliness. I was only going for a few days, so with something small but very well located I had plenty. For me, it was essential that it was clean. I gotta say that this hotel was great. It is run by a family, with a double security entry system. The room itself was on the small side, I couldn't open the door to the toilets fully without bumping into the bed. But to spend a few days, it was more than enough. I confirm that everything was spotless and that, when I found the pillow a bit lumpy, they changed it for me without any problem. In addition, the owner of the hotel gave me perfect advice on transportation, visits and even musicals. It is well situated to walk to the centre, but also with both bus and underground transportation nearby. Also, there are good cafes around for breakfast. If I go alone again I will definitely come back to this hotel.

Not as a bad thing, but as a full disclosure, again the room was quite small. Also, it didn't have a lift, but I stayed at the first floor and there were only a few stairs there. Being so close to the centre, it was a good quality/price ratio.

Excellent value for money. Room was small, but perfect for me. It had everything I needed (tea, coffee, biscuits and own bathroom) Clean, nice and light - was happy I was only 2 flights up (as no lift) - but I know they would have carried my bags up Fantastic location as I work in Victoria...plus so easy to get everywhere with Pimlico underground station just round the corner Staff were lovely

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was very clean, with daily housekeeping that was thorough and well-done. The location is fantastic—within walking distance of Big Ben and the city center. However, what stood out the most was the staff. I had an issue with my booking, and they went above and beyond to help me. They honored my original reservation price and ensured everything was sorted smoothly. Their kindness and professionalism truly made a difference. This is a cozy, family-run hotel where everything is well-maintained, clean, and welcoming. I will definitely return!

Nice super friendly staff that helped with our luggage up 6 flights of stairs. The location was close to the tube which was great and lots of restaurants around. Our room had a view of the London Eye. Ample space. Comfortable beds although it was two twin that we had to just push together. The bathroom although works, the shower itself was pretty small space. Not a deal breaker. Definitely pretty basic but great for just resting after a long day out.

No big deal but kept having to ask for soap when we stayed. Had to ask a few times in one day that we needed more soap. Was told they replenish every time they clean the room but both day, it wasn’t. Again not a deal breaker but I just wish I didn’t have to keep asking. And if you have luggage’s may be hard if you are on the 2nd or 3rd floor.

Room #15 has nice city view as last floor!!! Excellent location as metro station is 5 min away and Victoria train station is 12 min away. The room was warm at evenings- nights. The trip was in November it was important for us. Towels are changed every day what is appreciated as it is only one towel per person. There is hairdryer (why is it attached next to desk not in bathroom or next to big mirror?) and tea kettle.

Unfriendly welcome at arrival. The entrance door was closed within reception hours. Upon ringing it took a while to hear response but not open door. I was asked questions which I could not hear due to street noise. I entered the hotel with other guests who had keys. And no warm welcome afterwards. No fridge in room but we were allowed to use staff’s fridge. Very strange to have one chair in twin room for 2 guests. No sound proof walls but we were lucky with neighbors. No issue.

The location is excellent. Bus stop close to hotel. Reasonable walking distance to Victoria Station. The host, John, is friendly and helpful and works hard to ensure your stay is an enjoyable one.

Breakfast is not available. There are a number of pleasant cafes in the vicinity but none close enough for a quick dash on a rainy morning. This hotel is not really suitable for the disabled or the less able. There are three stone steps up to the front door. There is no lift and although there is at least one room on the ground floor most of the rooms are up a number of flights of stairs. However for those fit enough I hear there’s a marvellous view from the upper rooms!

The staff was friendly and helpful. Special shout-out to John for recommending us nearby restaurants. The location is near a subway station and Victoria bus station, so you can pretty much get everywhere you would need somewhat easy. The beds were comfy, although a bit small.

The only thing that was a bit of an inconvenience to us was that the heating gets turned off at some time during the night, so it can get a bit cold. It didn't really bother us that much and most likely if we had raised that to the staff, they would have done something about it.

We enjoyed our stay firstly because of its location (4 min walk to nearest subway station and 10 minute walk to Victoria station); Calm neighbourhood, sleeping with the window open was nice there was barely any car noises; The bed was comfortable; The staff was nice; The hallway smelled good - pleasant when you first walk in; Check in and check out was easy; They can keep your bags (for a fee) once you check out - which was super helpful since my flight was at 7pm. All in all it did the job well.

There was no space to work in the hotel outside of the very small desk on which was placed the hair dryer, fan, instant coffee and kettle - had to go to a nearby cafe to catch up on emails; There are no plugs in the bathroom which is unfortunate; The shower has a fixed, wall-mounted and non-adjustable showerhead so don't forget your bonnet if you don't want to wash your hair everyday.

I had a fabulous stay. The staff went above and beyond for me. Reception stayed open late when my train was delayed, which was super helpful. Room cleaning fulfilled a specific request for me. The hotel was very clean, tidy and quiet. The shower was hot and the bathroom was spotless. I had everything I needed, everything worked, and the price point for London is amazing! I travelled for work and will definitely be staying again.

For her me, nothing. There is no lift and no food service. This didn’t matter at all for me but may for some.

For anyone travelling as a solo girl - this hotel is for you. Its close to the underground and buses. There are many coffee shops and restaurants in the area. You can walk to Buckingham Palace in 15 min or to Victoria Station in 10. Its a safe area, quiet at night. Tesco is 3 min away. Perfect, would choose anytime.
