The location suits us personally being close to family. The immediate neighborhood is great with so many little cafes and restaurants, supermarket, etc. The hotel has parking you can reserve at a reasonable price (for London). This is our 4th time staying at Best Western chiswick, so it clearly is a place we would come again.
The rooms are on the small side, but typical for London at any reasonable budget. We would prefer if bottled water was provided in the rooms.

Rooms range from really tiny to very spacious. We were first in a really really tiny one and then moved to a larger one. The rooms are very clean, modern and well lit and pleasant. The location is simply very beautiful. Tree lined streets with plenty of food choices and very well connected to 2 tube stations and bus stops. Breakfast spread was decent. Anila at the reception was very very helpful and gave us a lot of tips on things to do.
Issues with the washing machine not working. The kitchenette is very basic and if you plan to cook we felt it was not suitable. But its fine if you want to just microwave food and keep it simple.

The location for one couldn't be better, Chiswick is a wonderful part of London, equipped with anything you need such as supermarkets, bakeries, coffee and speciality shops (books, fruit and veg, Polish and Arabian supermarkets, ice cream parlours, hardware shops, clothing shops), all sorts of pubs and restaurants, bus and underground stops, it has its own market (cheese, flowers, antiques...) etc. and is well connected to everything else. Hotel staff are always friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and always made up, even when we left late. The bathroom was always spotless, too. We were able to book a space in the car park which saved us a lot of searching since our usual car park was unavailable. We didn't have breakfast there this time but we do know from previous stays that it is very tasty and offers a variety of English and continental breakfast, juice, fresh fruit etc. We've returned to this hotel for 15 years by now and are looking forward to the next 15 years.

I had never stayed at a 3-star hotel before, so this was my first experience. I was most impressed by the staff, especially Anila and Sam - these are people who know hospitality better than most doctors know medicine. Everything was excellent: the incredible breakfast menu, the 24-hour dispenser with cucumber and mint water. The location is excellent, especially with the tube station on the District line (green) so nearby. And as a tree lover, I was enormously surprised to discover that one of London's beautiful parks - Ravenscourt Park - is so close to the hotel that my daughter and I could go for morning runs there!

The location and staff were incredible!
The things we didn’t love were mostly small things: It would have been lovely to have a mini refrigerator/microwave option since we were staying for a week and often had leftovers from a large meal; the soap dispenser in the bathroom was unusually high on the wall and wonky to access; the mattress has probably seen better days but it was fine for us. However, be advised that the bathtub is VERY difficult to get into. The side of it is just much too high. This was tricky for both of us regardless of any issues with mobility or anything else. But otherwise, this was a great spot!

A historic building with modern comfort in a quiet neighbourhood. We loved the family studio; it was the right size for our family (although some stains affected our impression). The beds were comfortable, the A/C was ok, and the sofa was a plus. Daily replenishment of biscuits and coffee/tea in the room. The stairs inside our room's door were a surprise that only added to the building's character. We loved the mirrors in the central stairwell and the breakfast veranda (the rain dripping for a while didn't bother anyone). Breakfast was good, with frequent refills. Parking £12 per night, (I think it was plus £5 if you would like to reserve a spot). The staff were willing to help and find a place for everyone.
Away from a metro station. The closest stations were not working conveniently during that weekend.

This was my first time in that part of London and I loved the neighborhood of Chiswick. Hotel is close to Turnham Green and Stamford bridge stations so very convenient. The hotel itself is super comfortable with tea and coffee in the room. WE found it an excellent place to stay, reasonably priced with lots of amazing cafes and restaurants nearby. You also have Sainsbury's right across the street. Chiswick cheese market on Sunday was an added bonus. We did not have breakfast but it is available if you want it.
The double bed was a bit narrow and you cannot adjust the aircon which is set permanently on 19C the buttons to adjust temperature are taped over. I suppose this is to stop people breaking it.

The room is nice and sufficient in size for two people for one or two nights. The breakfast is sufficient for people with different dietary requirements. The hotel is located in a quiet area in the west of the city, not far from the Thames. You can walk to Hammersmith Bridge from the hotel.
We arrived a little earlier than check-in time and were told that we were lucky that our reservation had not been cancelled, as we should have called ahead to confirm our arrival. This was strange, as it was the first time we had encountered this. The reservation was made, as usual, on a credit card. The hotel could have simply charged the card. I don't know whose fault it was, the hotel's or booking.com's.

Chiswick has a village type atmosphere with cosy bookshops, high end op shops and a wide range of great eateries. Two tube stations are there but neither has lifts. Good bus services and it is so close to Hammersmith, Kew Gardens, Richmond and the big Westfield at White City. The hotel has newly furnished rooms with kitchenette and laundry facilities. The older rooms are standard hotel rooms without a fridge but they are clean, comfortable and everything works. Staff are fabulous, nothing is too much bother. Good breakfast at a good price if you order the day before. Parking also available on site.
Many of the older rooms do not have a fridge. Some of the older rooms could benefit with updating the chairs or mattresses but they are still quite acceptable.

Location is really great with many restaurants and shops nearby and a cinema across the street. Staff was polite, helpful and pleasant - and refused my tips for doing everything they could to make me comfortable! I was impressed by that. The room was very clean. The bed had good pillows. The shower pressure was truly terrific. I'd requested a quiet room and it really WAS quiet which was lovely. The breakfast was excellent - far better than most 3-star hotels I've been in -- and I was grateful not to have loud, ugly music playing in the lobby.
The AC was NOT cold enough at the coldest setting, and as that was the REASON I paid for a hotel room on top of renting an apartment, I was disappointed. They did bring me an additional fan which helped but it is not the same thing as a really good AC. I do NOT think the temperature thermometer was accurate because I am very sensitive to temperature and know the difference between 66 f. (which they said it was) and 70/71 (which I thought it was.) Secondly: the mattress was WAY too soft and that gave me back ache. In a heat wave, I would have preferred a simple sheet - with an extra duvet separate from the sheet - because it was so HOT I wanted to cover my body but NOT with a duvet! Lastly: the elevator makes a horrible grinding sound - scary!
