We booked this lovely hotel to attend the Olivia Rodrigo concert at Hyde park. I read the reviews and by them, decided that this would be the perfect place for myself and daughters. They had a quad room (1 x double and 1 x sofabed) I was expecting it to mirror the reviews but it honestly exceeded them. The room was ready 2 hours early meaning we could go into our room freshen up and drop our bags off before the concert. The room was lovely and clean. had a nice shower, tea and coffee making facilities, free wifi, hairdryer, keyless entry . What more could you want. It was an extremely hot day and we arrived to find a fan on in our room and the window slightly open, which was a really lovely touch. The breakfast was perfect, lots of options and really nicely laid out. The best part was the staff, so helpful, kind and genuinely looked happy to be there. They offered lots of advice for travel and ways to get around and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The lady serving breakfast was our favourite she greeted us with a huge smile, had lovely red lipstick on and long dark hair ( i wish i got her name) however she was so lovely and made us feel very welcome. If i come to Hyde park again, or London I wont hesitate to book here again. Also to add although extremely central and only a 9 minute walk from Notting Hill Tube station it was on a very quiet road. Just perfect.

The main shower head was maybe on its way out with some rogue sprays of water, however the smaller head was just perfect.

I really liked it. I stay in London regularly so have tried many different hotels - they tend to be pretty similar, but what separates the good ones is the area, how quiet the room is, the staff and the value for money. This hotel ticks all those boxes and felt very cosy, so probably the hotel I will come back back to. The location is as good as you can find in London. It is on a quiet square just next to Notting Hill, and the room overlooked the square gardens. It was quiet and felt very safe (not always the case in London). Compared to most other places I have stayed in the city this was definitely my favourite.

I would take most negative comments with a pinch of salt. I've read a few other reviews that pick up on issues like hearing the trains in the underground and generally being an older building - but these are common to most places I have stayed in London in that price range and you'll find those same comments on most other hotels.

Great location, very close to central London by tube. Lovely area and building. Basic room which has all that you would need for a short stay in London. The breakfast was appreciated also. Staff were always pleasant.

No lock on bathroom door and the door of the room itself was a little fragile. Nevertheless, we felt safe so this wasn’t an issue for us.

This was a beautiful old building in a lovely location. It was a short walk to the tube station and located in a safe, scenic area. Breakfast was simple, but lots of choices in a charming space to eat.

Upon arrival I asked for extra hangers as I only had 3 and was told they didn't have any. I thought it was strange that this request could not be met as I was staying for 4 nights. I also asked to borrow an iron, but it seemed that another guest had it and they did not know who. On my third day they located the iron and were able to give it to me.

Clean, comfortable, helpful, friendly staff and for me a good location. It's now my "go to " hotel when I visit London

The room was very tidy, clean and nice. The location fo the hotel was very convenient The breakfast was tasty, simple with a good variety. I would l visit this place again.

The receptionist could ahve been more efficient and quicker in retrieving our reservation. He was chatting to another staff memeber even though we had already started the checking in process.

The room was spacious and clean including the en suite shower with hot water and toiletries. Beds were comfortable and clean. The noise from the underground was barely audible and the street quiet. The breakfast buffet was generous and good with a selection of cereals, fruit juice, fresh coffee, chocolate, fresh fruit, bread, spreads, cucumber, tomato, olives, ham, and cheese. The hotel allowed luggage to be dropped off before check in and after check out. Several minutes to Notting Hill Gate underground in a pleasant area with shopping, cafes, bars.

Location, price and facilities could not be faulted.

Thank you for your hospitality. Upon arrival we did not like the room they gave us because of the sofa mattress and they quickly offered us another one. The rooms are big enough for a family and comfortable. The toilets are quite good and have full shower. There are massive windows where you can see the beautiful gardens just in front of the hotel. Sometimes you can hear the Tube, but trust me, it doesn't really bother. The breakfast is really good, you can have coffee, juices, toasted bread, ham and cheese, fruit, etc. The hotel is really worth it.

Location was wonderful, at a beautiful part of London. The staff were very kind and helpful. As a lone traveler, I felt very comfortable.

The room and the bathroom were a bit small, but I guess that was expected for a single room. Maybe the place of the furniture around the room could have been a bit better to make it fit more.

Blue Bells Hotel is lovely, and staff so helpful. I had a single room, a little small, but knew that when I booked. I hadn't stayed in Notting Hill before, so a new experience and it is lovely there and easy to get to the West-End using the buses. There was a lot on offer at Breakfast time, and being Coeliac they provided me with Gluten-Free Bread. I felt at home there and would definitely stay there again and it was good value for the cost.

A little bedside lamp would have been helpful, as I had to keep television on late at night for the light, when getting up to switch off the main central light. The Drape on the window didn't extend straight across the window, it seemed to be stuck. Overall, a lovely hotel and would want to stay there on my next visit.
