Second time I stay at this hotel and main reason is the location. It is close to the center with public transport but no so much that it gets too expensive. Really affordable, kind staff, and well located in a really nice area.

Before getting there I received plenty of messages asking me to click a link to confirm my reservation. Later they told me the messages didn't come from them, but still it made me worry. Also, is a bit annoying to leave the key at reception everytime we leave the hotel, but it was not a big deal.

The service was really kind and helpful, area is great as a starting point of any journey to the city, super close to metro and other public transport options. A lot of bars and restaurants around. Generally nice area. The TV had.....ALL the channels of the world :) I really enjoyed my stay. There were few things that could be better, but for the price that i paid, it was probably better than expected. Would i come back there? Most likely. If you are looking for a place to spend few night in, while mostly out in the city the whole day - it's a good choice.

The room was small but well organized. It was an old building, there was a 2cm gap under the door, which i think i could break open with a harder push. Walls are so thin that you can hear a fly fart 2 floors higher, the bathroom was not best quality, the shower was leaking badly due to a bad design, so one of the towels had to be there just as a flood gate. If you are looking for a comfortable room where you can relax during the day - look for something more expensive/better.

The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. I appreciated the possibility of making tea or coffee in the room, comfortable, clean beds, everyday changing of towels as well as 24/7 reception We also had a great view from our window (stayed in the upper floor), the street was clean and quiet, 10 mins of walk to 3 lines of underground, lots of places for eating or shopping, nice walk to Portobello Road or Hyde Park, couldn´t wish for more!

The hotel and its equipment is obviously old, in our room was very noisy fan in the bathroom, which turned on automatically with the light, so it wasn´t possible to light up the bathroom in night as our neighbour complained about the noise. Room was also quite small, but still quite comfortable. All these minuses are nothing in compare with the location!

Really liked it. Don’t expect a 5 star experience if you want to book cheaper. The room was small yes, bit worn yes, but always clean! The cleaning lady came every day, brought fresh towels and everything you’ve needed. The bed was comfortable, the facilities worked well, yes there were stains but those kind of stains what would require a whole change and can’t be cleaned anymore so I wouldn’t complain. Location was the best and it was very very quiet area. Definitely recommend and would return!

The staff were helpful. Luggage storage was useful, but at our own risk. Not that close to the train station with luggage, but good walking distance to several interesting areas. Our room had an opening window which was nice as it was quite warm. That and the fan kept us cool enough.

Our room was next to the lift, which disturbed our sleep at times. Couldn't get the tv to work properly. Bed had a bit of a sag, but at least it wasn't hard.

I really appreciated that the place was clean and warm. You could adjust the heat using the valve on the radiator, which made it very comfortable. Overall, it was great value for money. Additionally, we were able to leave our luggage in storage until check-in, which gave us the freedom to explore London hands-free—no heavy bags slowing us down!

As a suggestion, replacing the fixed showerhead with a flexible one would be great, as the current one would also get your hair wet when showering. It would also be helpful to have an additional cabinet above the fridge for clothes, as two people couldn't properly store their clothing.

We liked the location, and me and my bestie friend had stayed there before. My friend doesn't work (due to illness) so the prices also played a big part for her. This might only be rated a 2 star 🌟 but it has everything we needed (except maybe a small fridge, and a cordless kettle) but it's really not far from the high street so we got milk every day. The staff were very welcoming and the hotel is very clean! We will definitely book there again.

That there wasn't any fridge in the room and the kettle could do with being cordless as you've got to take the whole kettle into the bathroom to refill it. These are really only nitpicking little things though.

Gorgeous location, Quiet, Some lovely staff, Sofia on the front desk, room was as advertised, pleasantly suprised, would definitely recommend to stay, but would more recommend the owners chance their staff, as would be perfect. I actually loved the hotel

Unfortunately this hotel is let down massively by staff. Certain reception staff are absolutely obnoxious and downright rude. Unhelpful. The maid service is none existent, all requests for bedding change ignored. In fact one day, we were given clean towels and coffee, with the old towels left on the floor in the bathroom, bin not emptied, even though we had requested bedding change and a clean. Next day bedding still not changed. Absolute shame, as if not for staff would have been a perfect stay.

Excellent location. Walking distance from 03 train stations, Bayswater , Queensway and Paddington. Can cover many of the main London attractions by foot if you are willing to walk about 4 - 5 kms. Room is little small but it didnt matter for us since we return to room to sleep. Very good neighborhood and no disturbances at all. Can also find eateries within around Value for money.

It would have been great if the front office person was bit receptive & friendly. However he met and attended all our requests to our satisfaction

Great location and very close to an underground station. Food and pubs close by. The staff were all very polite and accommodating. The room was a good size. Even though the room was right next to the lift we did not hear lots of noise from people using the lift.

The bed was only a standard double, so not loads of space. The bathroom was a tight space, and being on the top floor the shower took a while to heat up; when it did it was great.
