The room was on the 2nd floor, clean, quiet. Everything was in working condition. There were universal sockets, so we could charge phones without adaptors. WiFi was pretty good. There are plenty of local shops to buy sandwiches, fruits, snacks etc.

The breakfast was included during the booking, but the prepaid choice is limited to 4 items (toast, cheese, jam and yogurt). For Englisg breakfast you need to pay. The lack of tea facilities in the room is a minus, especially after returning to the hotel in the evening.

We stayed in a refurbished (more expensive) room, which seemed brand new. It was in a different building, closer to the stations, on the 4th floor, which was a bit of a hike, but we didn't mind. The room was big enough with TV, hair dryer, plenty of plugs (UK type). The bed was comfy with an extra polar blanket. Everything was clean. WiFi was mostly stable. They also serve breakfast, but we didn't try it. We could leave our bags in the lounge room free of charge before check in and after checking out, but there is a safer options as well in a locked room if you have valuables with you. The staff was very nice every time. Excellent location in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Great value for your money.

The towels should be changed, they are not in excellent condition. There is only an electric heater in the room so it was a bit cold sometimes, but it got warm quickly after we turned it on. There is not always hot water, sometimes you have to wait a bit. All in all I think it is a great place to stay for a few days if you want a cheaper option close to everything. For this price I didn't expect it to be perfect, but we still enjoyed our stay very much.

The staff was very friendly, the place was clean, good value for money for central london. The Breakfast options are limitied, but i felt it was enough.

The bedroom is simple but it had everything that we needed. Enough room for 2 people and even some furniture if we wanted to organise the clothes out of the suitcases. The shower cabinet was a little too small but not enough to disturb while showering, the pressure of the water and the temperature although, were perfect.

The included options at the breakfast could have a better coffee but again, it was fair in comparison to the price of the whole staying.

Excellent value for money at short notice. Room was very clean and was perfect for a base to explore London for a day. Superb location near Kensington Gardens and Queensway. Staff were pleasant and polite. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and the cooked option was very good for £8.

These come with the caveat that for a room for the night for 2 people in a prime location for around £100 on a Saturday night I was not expecting luxury. No air con in the room meant it was rather a warm night (in August). Shower was low powered and took a long time to get warm (but we were right at the top of the building). Breakfast was a bit crowded at peak time.

Nice staff. Comfortable, quiet room. Good and very clean shower room. Hotel has a guest lounge where you can make free tea/coffee. Reasonable price. Continental breakfast included - I had tea, orange juice, cereal, toast with butter and jam, a croissant, a yoghurt and a piece of fruit.

There's no lift, and the room was up 4 flights of stairs, which got increasingly steep and narrow. This isn't a complaint as such, since I assume these were the cheaper rooms, so I'd still have booked it. It's more to warn that these rooms wouldn't be suitable for infirm people.

This hotel is located in a strategic position in London, offers simple rooms a little spartan but with everything you need to spend a holiday in the English capital, staying in a central area without spending a fortune.The single room was on the third floor, no elevator, (but not a problem for me) with a window overlooking the courtyard, the bathroom was quite recent with a nice shower and window. The breakfast offered four dishes to choose from the menu with possibility of extra purchases, was of decent quality. Ultimately I would go back for the location and price .

Small improvements: I would add a kettle in the room with tea and coffee. And the staff despite being friendly appeared to me a little cold ... and at breakfast in some moments a bit 'distracted ..

Great location, good size family room, enjoyable breakfast. Walking distance to station. Better than expected after reading some of the reviews. Bathroom looked recently renovated. Tea/coffee always available in the sitting room

No tea/coffee making in room, clean towels only provided after 3 nights which was difficult for 5 people as not enough hanging room in bathroom for them. Mattress in our rooms need updating, could feel springs

Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Area very handy for seeing London. Breakfast could be better as I prefer proper coffee not instant. But there are plenty of cafes in the area to find decent coffee. Good value hotel for such a great location.

My room was on the top floor and although it was a very nice room and the view was great, as an older person I found so many stairs a bit much, but as it is an old building I understand you cannot have a lift. We will come again but ask for a lower room. I did like the view though.

The location of the hotel, it was within a couple of stops from central London, the staff were more than happy to help you and nothing seemed a problem for them to do, A basic breakfast was included in the price which was enough for us, however if you wanted a cooked breakfast or a wider range of continental the prices for this seemed fair. There wasn't tea and coffee in the rooms but there was 24 hour lounge where you could access these and take to your room, you could have unlimited and this included different coffees, hot chocolate and a variation of different tea.
