Good location across from Kensington and only a short walk to several wonderful restaurants and local groceries. Exceptionally clean. Breakfast was also fantastic with a large selection of food.

We were on the lower ground floor, and there was a terrible smell in the hallway. The room itself had no smell at all, and this was a great relief.

We found the room last-minute for a great rate. The staff were incredibly friendly and even hauled our heavy bags up the stairs for us. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were nicely equipped. The general area is very peaceful and the easy access to Hyde Park for our morning runs was a huge plus. The breakfast for 10£ offered good variety and one certainly won't find a cheaper breakfast in central London.

The elevator was out of service as we visited, which probably explains the deep discount we got. Normally this would not be a factor for us, but we were way up on the 5th floor! This required finding your way through an absolute maze of stairways. As mentioned the fantastic staff carried our bags up and down to our room for us, which made up for this very small inconvenience. While the hotel itself was very quiet, the walls are quite thin, so without earplugs it was very easy to hear our neighbors coming home from a night out. With earplugs, I still got a great night's sleep.

second visit here with third booked and fourth planned. on this visit our room was upgraded, it was unexpected and appreciated. we return as the location to two tube stations and three lines within a five minute walk is very handy, and a twenty minute transfer to Euston is also a bonus. we arrived early, and our luggage was looked after so we could go out and on our return it was safely in our room. Breakfast is a good price and meets all our expectations with a good choice

more than just two tea bags in our room (we don't drink coffee). We didn't ask for our room to be cleaned so they tea was not replenished - understandably, so a quick ask at reception on our return from a day out, replenished the stock.

Great location, a few minutes walk from Kensington Gardens and Queensway or Bayswater tube stations. 15mins walk to Paddington station to catch Heathrow Express train to airport. Hotel is in a quiet area yet 5mins walk away are many restaurants, cafes and transport. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and will store luggage if you arrive early or depart late. Rooms are typically cosy for London but functional, comfortable and clean. Lovely modern ensuite bathroom. Breakfast is good value but don't expect 5 star hotel big buffet style - it's on a much smaller scale and save the coffee for Urban Social Coffee near Bayswater tube station. This is my 3rd stay at The Byron Hotel in 18mths and it offers an affordable price which is not easy in London.

A few extra complimentary toiletries would make it just that bit better e.g. a disposable shower cap and body lotion. They supply shampoo/conditioner in one.

Great stay, spacious clean room, very friendly and welcoming staff! Second time staying here and the place is going to be our go to every time we visit London. I can't talk enough about the location, since we always stay near Hyde park in order to be close enough to the center without the huge crowds and far enough to be able to enjoy a neighborhood feeling and breathe by taking a walk in the park. Also close to two subway stations and bus station, as well as Paddington station. The room was exactly as in the pictures, very clean and spacious. Fridge, kettle and microwave working perfectly and was a great way to have a little late snack. Breakfast was great and the staff really kind, and reception staff made sure you are always welcomed and assisted if needed. Special thank you to Ismail too who made sure we were happy with our room and helped us with our crazy big and heavy suitcases. Don't miss the chance to stay here on your next visit.

We really enjoyed everything really.

The Byron is well located, close to Queensway and Lancaster Gate tubes and easy cycling distance from central London. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and larger than expected as I was upgraded to a triple room on arrival. The bathroom was modern and clean and the heating worked as expected. The room was in the basement but had a large window letting in plenty of light

The bed had a foam mattress that could do with replacement, there was a dip in it that suggested it was past it's best and wasn't the most comfortable to sleep on because of this. The fire escape steps were right outside the window and the cleaning staff were quite noisy cleaning them and going up and down at 8am so the hoped for lie-in didn't happen. I'd request a different room in future.

The location of the hotel is ideal very close to the Queensway and Baywater train (tube) stations. It is also accessible by multiple buses. The hotel is 7 minute walk to hyde park which was a bonus and there are many restaurants and food shops within walking distance. This hotel is very clean and safe! I would stay here again and the hot breakfast was perfect! I stayed in a single room with a twin bed it was very small but efficient. The bathroom is modern and well equipped. It's a unique hotel in the most ideal location.

The bed was hard and housekeeping did not change my linens. I had to ask for fresh sheets and towels.

I really like the hotel. They clean and change the towels everyday (not like other hotels) with no extra charge. Very clean and calm (inside and outside the hotel). Reachable and very close to bus and tube (metro) stations. So close to the most nice places like Oxford street 10 mins by bus. All of that and after long research, and very reasonable price. Just not to forget, we manage to have a big suitcase (25kgm) in one room and open it both🤣.

Nothing at all. I didn’t reserve breakfast as I planned to have food out side the hotel. So I don’t know hows the food.

The staff was very polite and helpful. On arrival the flight had 2h delay, the receptionist waited for us, long after midnight. The building has an elevator. The room was small, but very clean, and well maintained. Small but very clean bathroom. Hallways are clean and tidy as well. They offer breakfast. Not particulary fond of english breakfast, but it was ok. Sainsbury's supermarket close to Bayswater underground station - 8~10 min walk. Very good location. 7 minutes walk to Queensway underground station & 10 min walk to Bayswater underground station. Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens - 5 minutes away. ~15 min walk to Paddington hub station. A lot of bus stations around. If i will return to London, this will be my first option for sure.

I did not obesrve anything bad/out of place/disturbing in particular.

Rooms were comfortable and the hotel seemed safe and clean. We loved the location, it was close to many affordable and delicious restaurants, as well as Notting Hill, Kensington Gardens and two Underground stops. Breakfast was very nice. We enjoyed the full English Breakfast options as well as the fruit, yogurt, pastries and bread.

We were originally put in a basement room (Lower ground floor) that did not smell good--seemed like a combination of mold and cigarette smoke. When we complained they immediately moved us to a room on a higher floor that was very nice and we were happy.
