The bed was extremely comfortable, AC installed was a god send since the room got pretty warm quite fast, standard double room had a pretty small older tv but me and my partner loved it, it gave us a pretty nostalgic vibe which was unexpectedly very nice. A stones throw away from Queensway station and Hyde park, with plenty of food places and shops within a 5 minute walk

The showers water pressure wasn’t the greatest and the room was a bit small, unable to open one of the wardrobe doors fully, but it was no real major issue. On the Monday morning of our check out the fire alarm briefly went off for a few minutes at around 8:30 which was quite unpleasant to wake up too but it gave me and my partner a bit of a laugh after the fact

The hotel is located in a quiet area of ​​Westminster City, not far from Kensington Gardens. It is close to 2 metro stations and a bus line. Breakfast is a typical British one, with the same dishes every day. Luckily, there are many restaurants, fast food and shops around where you can find something different. The room was clean, nicely furnished and with all functional utilities. During the stay, maintenance work was being done in the hallways, but despite all that, it was clean everywhere. The reception staff was polite and kind, as was the staff in the dining area. I appreciated the help I received when I realized on the first night that I forgot the plug adapter. Also, the advice received was appreciated.

Beyond the identical menu every day, the coffee available at the restaurant was not the best, on the contrary. The doors in the hallways were a bit noisy, although they were equipped with dampers, which was a bit disturbing.

Upgraded to better room, much happier. It was clean, had air con & able to open windows. Great location for transport, shopping & restaurants/cafes.

First room was very basic & had plumbing issues. Was moved to basement room at 9pm for l night. It was unclean & smelt awful. Not a great feeling being underground, feeling isolated & the phone didn't work! Room was so far away staff had to escort me there. Wouldn't recommend if you are claustrophobic! Upgrade was so much better however room much smaller. There are no instructions or numbers where rooms are after leaving lift. No instructions given on how to use room card or air con. No fridge in upgraded room.

Very nice modern rooms with comfy beds. The location was perfect since we visited for Hyde park and the hotel is in walkable distance; even with a child. The breakfast beat our expectations, the food was fresh and well made, with a good variation of choices. The staff are friendly and accommodating, My daughter has a dairy allergy and the staff offered us to bring dairy free milk options for our stay, which was nice touch.

The hotel is basic but does the job. The restaurant only serves breakfast and offers no bar or entertainment. Located in the centre they is plenty to do and so we wasn't in the hotel much but there isn't much to do on those nights if you want to stay in and relax.

Great location, lovely breakfast. Would stay again.

On our second night of our stay we asked the receptionist for tap water for the room. There was a vending machine but it would not take card and we did not have change. We were told to take water from a “fountain” which was empty and no glasses beside it. When we said there was no water, we were told to wait until breakfast the next morning. This was 5pm in the evening, and we were advised to wait until the next morning. After paying as much as we did, I expected a glass of tap water if there was no other option and no shop close to the hotel to purchase one. Disappointing service.

The rooms we stayed in were immaculately clean, we were nervous with the current bed bug crisis so done a full bed check and was quite surprised that even the mattress was immaculate and the hotels and room smelt really fresh. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We were going to a concert and didn’t realise we needed to print them off and the staff were more than happy to help out!

The room we stayed in was tired and I think unfortunate as we were beside a door at times noisy although we still slept well. We were nervous about staying with some of the other reviews however if you’re looking for a hotel to just get your head down at night on a budget I’d highly recommend this hotel, if you want a hotel room with a more luxurious feel with more amenities than just basic then look else where.

It is located near the attractions in walking distance to Kensington Palace, Buckingham Palace, Marble Arch, and Knightsbridge. 5 min to Queensway train station and 3-5 min to all bus stops. The staff are very nice and friendly. They make our beds every day. The room is big enough and very clean. The price is very fair. I recommend this hotel and I would like to stay when I visit next time.

There is a new construction across the hotel which makes a lot noises in the morning.

Lovely little hotel, great breakfast variety, and the taste was amazing, very friendly and accommodating, absolutely amazing and lovely bathroom with lots of amenities which was nice. There was plenty of clean, fresh towels. Great staff team and a lovely area to stay, 5 minutes' walk to the tubestation and lots of shops, convenience stores close by. Overall lovely hotel i would book again but short stay only.

We stayed in room b101. Hair dryer was on an extremely short wire could barely dry hair, the chair was broken at the join where the back legs was and it nearly collapsed on my 2 year old son, the air con didn't work and the room was absolutely boiling hot so hard to sleep. The view outside the window was not nice paint was all chipped very dusty would look better if it was spruced up with abit of paint and some flowers etc, also the security light kept turning on outside the window all night lighting the full room up also causing lack of sleep.

The staff were exceptional. My family and I initially had issues with the first rooms assigned to us. I asked the reception staff for a different room, and despite the hotel being very busy, the staff member did his best to accommodate our needs. The location is also perfect, as it is conveniently located next to one of the main bus stops, making it easy to travel around.

Location amazing. Across the road from Hyde Park. Tube station 5 mins away. 24 hr concierge desk. Safe and clean. We stayed 2 nights and room serviced each day. Basic room in a great location. Clean sheets towels amenities provided. Hot shower. Good price - only went there to sleep.

Should have booked a double room for my daughter and I. Mattress a double so a bit small and uncomfortable for 2. Room was hot but window opened and a fan was supplied.
