Is pretty much exactly as the photos suggest. The attention to detail is incredible, everywhere you look you find something else quirky in a gothic kind of style and generally giving a real high end experience. Fantastic location for the theatre district, soho and China Town. 2 minute walk to the Phoenix theatre. 2 minutes to the tube also. A huge variety of drinks stocked in your personal bar for those with deep pockets.
Was charged a 5% service charge when receiving my receipt the evening I returned home. Although it didn't break the bank it was £17.56 that wasn't mentioned at all from the time of booking to checking out . After paying £425 for one night I personally think that is enough without any hidden charges. Would have been a 10 otherwise.

The quality of the room exceeded our spectations & the sounds system is amazing!
The room was very hot and the AC wasn’t great. Only did the room cool down after leaving the windows open all night.

Convenient location and within walking distance of the west end, soho, covent garden, Trafalgar Square etc, all while being on a quiet side street. Accommodations were quirky and spacious and unlike most of the big chain hotels. I loved the eclectic style.
No complaints here. If I had anything, it was that I was in an apartment which is in a separate building from the main hotel across the street, and due to the age of the building, it doesn’t have elevators. I was on a third floor, and if you have heavy cases, it can be challenging. They do disclose that on the website, and if you do have an apartment, you have access to the butler team who can help you, but just something to be aware of.

Review for Chateau Denmark: A Gem in Soho From the moment I arrived, Chateau Denmark exceeded every expectation, starting with their stellar service. Despite arriving 4 hours early after a long journey, the staff graciously accommodated an early check-in, setting the tone for an exceptional stay. Special mention goes to my butler, Tyronne, who truly went above and beyond. His witty humor and genuine helpfulness made me feel instantly at ease. Noticing I hadn’t had breakfast, he thoughtfully brought me a delicious chocolate and butter croissant to tide me over. He ensured every detail in my room was perfect, from extra hangers to setting up my morning coffee at 13Den Bar. The hotel’s location is unbeatable—situated above Tottenham Court Road in the vibrant heart of Soho, with the Elizabeth Line providing direct access to Heathrow. Whether you’re here for business or leisure, you can’t get more central than this. The room was a standout—a quirky, themed space inspired by “Wake Me Up When September Ends.” Contrary to popular opinion, my room boasted a spacious balcony with ample natural light, making it perfect for getting holiday-ready. Despite being in the heart of Soho on New Year’s Eve, the room was remarkably quiet, ensuring a restful stay. The amenities at Chateau Denmark were equally impressive. Guests enjoy a generous 20% discount on dining at 13Den, and the in-room features were thoughtfully curated, blending style with functionality. The 13Den Bar deserves a review of its own. The food and drinks were phenomenal, with the staff taking care to ask about allergies and preferences. Every dish and cocktail was crafted to perfection, complemented by a rich and luxurious ambiance. The team at 13Den truly elevated my experience, making it a highlight of my stay. Finally, a shoutout to Luca, the Butler Manager, whose attentiveness and professionalism ensured a seamless experience.

Brilliant staff. We were struggling to locate the hotel entrance, so asked a member of staff at Thirteen at Denmark St where it was. He introduced himself, and took the time yo take us yo reception. He was a senior staff member. He needn't have been so helpful. He was brilliant. The hotel receptionist, equally helpful. Took us up to our room, then, when we reappeared showed us how to get to the theatre we were in London to attend. Utterly brilliant service. Great ambience, fab themed room. Clean, plush. Well appointed. Lift access to second floor. Quiet. Went to Thirteen after the show for drinks. Welcomed like a friend.
There is nothing to dislike. Wished I'd booked for a second night.

Location was great, being close to Covent Garden and Soho. Perfect for walking to most places in the West End. Hotel was very cool. I stayed in one of the Apartments which are located in a building across the street from the main hotel. Super funky furnishings. Fully stocked bar with full bottles ( for which you pay full bottle price). Great fun place and very different from the run of the mill hotel room. Loved it.
With the apartments being housed in an old building, there are no elevators in this building. I was here for a week and had a larger suitcase, and so it involved carrying that up 3 flights of stairs. It does tell you that on the website, but just something to be aware of. Not a major issue for me, and certainly wouldnt stop me booking here again.

The room was incredible. A huge bar/kitchen formed the living room and the bar was genuinely going out quality. I thought the bar prices would be high but they were actually reasonable, somewhere between a supermarket price and an actual bar price. The vibes at Chateau Denmark were brilliant and I wish we could have stayed for another night. We travelled as a family with teens and it was perfect.
The breakfast was simple and continental but still adequate. Coffee excellent and if you do want a more traditional fry up style you have plenty of options in central London!

An amazing apartment hotel in a great location, at an iconic street. We stayed at a two bedroom loft apartment which had 2 floors, the mutial space at the top floor was cool decorated and had a view of the London eye. The beds in the bedroom was the most comfortable beds I ever slept in. The staff was so nice and helpful. We had a really great stay. This apartment was only acssesibale by stairs, but we didn't mind.
The windows were not sound proof. There was some renovation in the next door building, and the hotel didn't mention it upon booking.

Review: Apartment 702 at Chateau Denmark, London Somewhere between the sweat of old rock riffs and the scent of fresh-cut decadence, Chateau Denmark rises like a glam-goth fever dream in the middle of Soho. Room 702 isn’t a hotel room—it’s a seductive dare. And I took it. The lobby of Chateau Denmark can be found through a psychedelic tunnel of an ever-shifting digital kaleidoscope. Very Cyberpunk. Once there, you are greeted by staff dressed like roadies ready to move your gear, musical or otherwise to its final destination. The check-in tunnel alone is a psychedelic baptism. Then you’re in. Room 702 is pitch-perfect sensory provocation. Black leather underfoot. Walls the shade of late-night secrets. A blood-red roll-top bathtub positioned like an altar. The fireplace roars—not with flame but with devilish attitude. It’s theatrical, unapologetic, and luxuriously excessive. The king sized bed is very comfy, but you’re not here to sleep. You’re here to sin in style. Every piece of furniture looks like it has a story—maybe illicit, definitely expensive. The minibar is less a convenience and more a call to action: wine, champagnes, high-end tequila, even the tools to make your own cocktails. That Void speaker system? It doesn’t whisper—it performs. I especially liked the Vintage Goth playlist. Yes, it’s over-the-top. No, it’s not for everyone. But if you’re chasing a night (or a weekend) that feels like a lost track on a Velvet Goldmine soundtrack—this is it.
Though the hotel claims to be soundproofed that is somewhat impossible when you are in a Grade II listed building so keep that in mind when you book. HERE at Outernet is across the street and has crowds lining up starting at 11pm. Shows end at 4am. The whole area is super noisy so if you're sensitive to this, bring earplugs. The WIFI was very spotty and did not work well. The connection dropped every five minutes. That definitely needs improvement. Breakfast was not memorable, so grab a coffee and pastry elsewhere. There are tons of great options in this area.
