I cannot recommend The Hand & Flower enough. We had a room with a king bed and bunk beds. It was perfect for our family of 4 (2 kids 8 and 10). The staff was amazing and beyond friendly, we enjoyed seeing them each morning for breakfast. Breakfast is included in the stay, and there is a great variety for adults/kids. It was a bonus having a pub downstairs for lunch/dinner or to have a drink at the end of the night. The pub is seperated from the entrance to the rooms for an extra layer of security (need hotel keys to enter). The location is great for easy access to the tube and bus routes, we used both to traverse the city. There are multiple pubs/restaurants within walking distance. The room was large and clean. It had all we could need and more. We will stay here again, 10/10.

We were on the top floor and there isn't a lift so luggage needed to be carried up/down multiple flights. The hotel is not handicap accessible. It is about a 30 minute cab ride to city center, which can be pricey if you aren't taking public transportation.

Great location, 5 mins from Kensington Olympia tube station. The staff were really attentive and helpful. The room was a reasonable size and nicely decorated with plenty of storage and really comfy beds plus extras like air con, water provided and even proper milk for your tea/coffee. The pub downstairs did a fantastic freshly cooked breakfast to order with fresh fruit, cereal and pastries all using lovely fresh ingredients. Evening meals were also excellent and we took advantage of the 2 for 1 cocktails on Friday evening.

The only downside is the room was up 2.5 flights of stairs and they have no lift. Can't fault anything else

The room was very comfortable and well appointed, with a high standard of cleanliness. The overall atmosphere of the establishment was very welcoming. It is best described as an inn; a gastro-pub that also offers accommodation. The included breakfast was excellent; we didn't feel the need of further food until the evening.

Lacking its own radiator, the room was a tad chilly on arrival, and the environmental control on the wall thus non-functional. However, we were warm enough in bed and didn't feel cold either in the evening or on getting up in the morning. On the whole it felt more comofrtable than the often overheated rooms in other hotels

the breakfast was great Lost of food! the beds and room was comfortable. It was in a great location convenient to all. The tube was a short safe walk from the hotel. Its in a safe neighborhood with lots of restaurants around.

If it had an elevator that would have been convenient. But it was only 3 floors. In the room the design was a little funky. But now I'm nit picking a 200yr old building. It offered views of the area.

Our family room was really good for 4 of us and we were able to check in slightly earlier which was really helpful. It was lovely to have a sofa and a bit more space as well as the room having lots of character. There were plenty of vegetarian options for breakfast and the food was good. I'm definitely pleased we chose to stay here.

Our room was at the top of the property so a lot of stairs however it felt private and quiet so this wasn't a problem for us.

liked the breakfast options, bottled water/coffee in room. great location and the staff were awesome. we liked having the extra sitting area to relax after walking 20,000 steps!

the shower was difficult to figure out. there was a spider in our bed the first night!! the carpet and paint looks a little "tired" but we were told there is a big renovation in the works, so hopefully that will spruce it up

We went to Olympia London for the Ideal Home show and this was literally on the doorstep. The room was so lovely and spacious. It was extremely quiet considering we were in a pub. We were welcomed the minute we walked through the door! Would definitely come here again. About a 10 minute walk to main shops and Hammersmith Station to go further into London, or buses right outside the oub. Local Tescos on the doorstep too for snacks. Tea, Coffee and scrummy chocolate in the room with complimentary water and beer in the fridge. Lovely pub food too for dinner. Breakfast was included and the bacon bap was to die for.

We had the family room for 2 adults 2 children. Just perfect, comfortable solid bunk beds, sofa area and huge king size gave us plenty of space. Surprisingly quiet, and the pub is a lovely place to relax. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Left our bags there all day while we explored Notting Hill, wasn’t a problem at all. Food is so-so but fairly good.

The Hand & Flower was a delightful place. Full of character and decorated beautifully. It was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was beautiful. Staff were very friendly and so helpful. Location was literally 2 mins from the train station & the bus stop to get around London. Travelled with teenagers who loved it too.

No lift so had to carry the cases up the 3 floors but that wouldnt stop us staying there again.

Really nice decoration and service, good taste of breakfast and nice bar on the ground floor! Very convenient to get bus, underground and train, I can get every spot in center of London for 30-40mins from the hotel with nearest transportation. Especially thanks for Tammy’s service!

Maybe put some aromatherapy diffuser near the ladder and inside the room will be better with the good smell inside hotel.
