Stylish looking hotel in smart residential quiet location. Zero disturbance.I slept really well. Bed and towels provided fresh every day. Room cleaned to high standard. Lift available and very smart marble staircase. Breakfast acceptable, just; see below.

The breakfast room is too small. Tables crammed together. No assistance for first time breakfasters. You arrive with nobody to assist or guide you to a seat or explain where things are. Hash browns were cold every day. No bacon on offer is sacrilegious to an English man. Only two cereals on offer. However it’s clean and sausages were quite good. The two ladies in the kitchen were busy washing up and cooking at the same time. One of them is also the cleaner of rooms. One guest tried twice to find a table and had to depart without luck.

When we arrived around 9am - we were offered to check-in the bags until the room is ready in the afternoon and we also were invited to still join the breakfast even though we had just arrived. The hotel employees were very friendly and easy going. The room was nice and tidy and had all necessary amenities including a small kitchenette. The area around the hotel is very nice, clean and feels safe. With public transportation you are within 20-30 minutes in the area where you do the usual tourist attractions. A great bonus is that there is also a public bike stand just 50 meters from the Hotel and you can cycle 15-20 minutes into the city very cheaply.

The room, although small, was sufficient for two people and included a small area to wash glasses and a kettle. The buffet breakfast was varied and well-balanced, with fruit, eggs, bread, ham, and yoghurt among other options, appealing to children and teenagers. The lift made access to the room easier. The location was convenient, with a Tesco supermarket within walking distance for essentials.

Conversations from neighbouring rooms could be clearly heard. At the building entrance there are stairs, which makes access less comfortable despite having a lift inside.

For the price I paid, my stay was fantastic. Check in was swift, the bedding was very comfortable, the air con was powerful, and I found breakfast to be great and in a lovely little terrace. Compared to pricing of other places in London, I was extremely happy with my stay - it was everything I needed to escape the heatwave.

As others have said, with a slight update, the place could really be something nice and luxurious (although at that point, it would be out of my price range). If I'm being picky, the towels could do with replacing, the shower does go everywhere in the bathroom (and mine was lacking a lot of pressure/half the nozzles didn't work), and the 'smart switches' didn't work majority of the time. The TV's also didn't have access to Netflix or any streaming services which tends to be standard nowadays, but these are all things I could live with for the price.

Ideal location to visit Olympia and very close to station. The lady on reception was extremely polite and very helpful. The ladies in the breakfast room were polite and quickly refilled the buffet. The breakfast had plenty choice and was very nice. The room was small but comfortable and had what was needed for a weekend trip.

There was a small kitchen type area with a kettle, sink, fridge, and some crockery and cutlery. However, there was no teatowel or dish washing soap to clean the dishes after use. It's only a small issue, but something that would have made our stay perfect.

Location is not the best but very good. English breakfast was included and was a very pleasant and welcome surprise. Room has everything (fridge, kitchenette, safe, cupboards and closets and comfortable beds. The price was very reasonable. Justified my choice! Thank you

Although Olympia Kensington station is just outside the hotel, trains don't come often and you have to use buses to get to South Kensington, Gloucester road or Shepherd's bush to get the tube. The buses are very often though, there stops very close to the hotel and day two you feel you know the area for years. You pay extra fares for the buses almost about £10 per person per day on an oyster card.

​I liked that, at my request, the room was prepared ahead of schedule, as I needed to check-in, take a shower, change clothes and leave for the event. I would also like to draw attention to the fact that for the first time in London, I found disposable slippers in the room, which is great, because I hate wearing street shoes in the room. An interesting lighting control system was also implemented in the room, and the bathroom is wonderful.

I travel a lot and it rarely happens that there are no disadvantages, like this time, because the hotel is better than I expected. The only two moments I can point out are the condition of the towels, they can already be replaced, and breakfast, the description says that it is "Exceptional", but I must say that it is Standard, nothing more, but it was is still Ok.

Clean, comfortably and welcoming, with an excellent breakfast. Loved the decor. Will come again!

Liked everything, but if really nitpicking, the overhead shower fitting was only delivering water from about a third of the holes, so the flow was a bit weak. In contrast the handheld attachment was very strong (great!) and a lot hotter! The lighting control was many options was impressive but a bit fiddly in the middle of the night when you just want to find the bathroom light…

Lovely helpful staff. Clean room with comfy bed and the best hotel pillows ever experienced. Nice shower room. Pleasant breakfast offering a selection of hot and cold items. Hotel is in a quiet tree lined street a stones throw from Kensington Olympia.

My elderly parents had room No 1. This room is situated on the ground floor close to reception overlooking the front entrance. It was large with large bay windows & very nice but lacking net curtains; no privacy with people walking up the steps to the hotel. My parents felt the need to keep the curtains closed!!

It was a fab little room with ambient lighting, but no natural light as the window, if curtains opened, would have looked into a small kitchenette. However, that didn’t detract at all from the comfort of the room for a short stay. The room was tastefully decorated, immaculate and comfortable. The staff were lovely and welcoming. The breakfast room was bright, clean and a fantastic array of choice. I’d definitely stay here again. On and what a superb area! It’s located on a most gorgeous tree lined road which is beautiful, peaceful and quiet.
