Comfy, firm beds, lovely blackout curtains, fabulous shower, and the aircon was a Godsend in 32°c heat Reception was very friendly and helpful. Having read previous reviews, we expected a cosy, small room, and that is what we got. We loved the decor and lighting. The bathroom was small but perfectly modern, functional, and clean, and it wasn't a problem for the three of us to share. If I had one tiny complaint it would be that the bath towels were slightly small, I am a uk size 12, and it just about wrapped around me, this might be something to bear in mind/be prepared for, for curvier folks. The hotel is in a great location just a couple of minutes walk from Bayswater underground station, which is on a busy and vibrant high street with lots of places to eat and drink. We wanted to go out for the day before we headed home, so we left our luggage with reception. There is no secure room so our bags were left in the main hallway - something to bear in mind if you plan to do the same - but as the reception is manned 24hrs a day our things were still there when we returned at 6.30. All in all, it was a fab little place for the price, and I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Good location near Hyde Park, but far enough away to be quiet. Friendly reception staff. The room was well decorated, quiet, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, and the shower was powerful and hot. The air conditioning worked well and was quiet.

As it was a single room, the bathroom was a little cramped, but was clean. The staircase was steep and narrow in places, so beware if you have mobility problems. I don't know if there is a lift.

Location and service, the receptionists were helpful and kind

There is no elevator, a little difficult to go up with suitcases, but the receptionist helped and took it.

The hotel was in a wonderful location, just near Hyde Park, a little off the beaten path but with easy walking distance to two tube stops, restaurants and grocery stores. More quiet than the heart of London and on a picturesque street. The area felt safe, even walking at night. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room had air conditioning which was important to us, especially since we were there when the temps were in the 90's! The beds were comfortable and they cleaned the room daily. The bathroom was modern and the shower was very nice. We stayed at a few other places during our vacation but we all agreed this was the best one. It has cute quirky decorations--it looks exactly like the pictures on the website. We stayed in a triple (me my husband and son) and it was just right. It was really great and so nice to return to after a busy day sight seeing. No complaints. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London.

There was nothing we didn't like, but here are a few points to know that might be important to someone else. I don't think they had a lift. We were one floor up but the steps weren't too bad. The room is small, but that is normal for London I believe. It didn't bother us because we pretty much came in and got in bed. The bathroom was a little tight, definitely only one person in at a time for shower, sink, and toilet. But again, we managed fine. It came with a kettle for tea/coffee but a mini fridge would have made the room perfect.

I was a bit sceptical booking a hotel room in London city. Most of the reviews I read about neighbouring properties did not have my expectations set too high. We chose this hotel for value for money and AC in a july heat wave! It is so close to Bayswater Underground station which runs both District and Circle lines (super efficient) and a 5 min walk to Queensway Underground that runs the Central Line, its also close to Paddington for train lines. There are a number of nice restaurants and pubs close by and convenience stores too. Our room was on the ground floor. It had wonderful AC, blackout curtains, the beds were so comfy, the shower is so nice and big (the waterfall shower with option to have handheld is fantastic), the products in the bathroom were nice to use also. The room is decorated with a bold backsplash on the wall, and most things are Green which we found amusing as its in the name of the hotel. Reception staff were lovely, although when asked for a glass/cup they couldn't be bothered to get one for us - given that there are some in the rooms, you would expect that to be an easy ask. the size of the room is small, the bathroom is tiny but efficient and the shower as mentioned was great. Overall I would very much recommend this and would book again for a city stay

On the ground floor, it was noisy as people came and went but it didnt bother us too much, the fan didn't work in the bathroom.

The hotel was ideally located right by the baywater tube station, with queensway just up the road. Many bus stops near,we even used the one right outside the hotel to get to the albert hall. Hotel staff were welcoming and always said hello as you walked past. We had the added bonus of a ground floor room, which was nice and easy when we arrived. Room was nicely decorated and bathroom facilities modern.

Could have done with a few more hooks for towels and coats. Room was a little small for 3 adults, but you always seem to get that with triple or quadruple rooms.

Rooms are decorated very nice. Cheap and cheerful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything in the room worked as expected. Fresh towels, tea and coffee provided, good location - especially for winter wonderland. We decided to avoid the busy tubes and walked back from winter wonderland which took 30 minutes exactly, not bad at all! You can cut the time in half by jumping on a tube but we had eaten far too much and needed the exercise! There is a small Tesco and Sainsbury’s (express style) just around the corner. In the morning we walked to a tiny little cafe called Sociale Cafe after some googling and they did a lovely vegan breakfast for me and a not so vegan one for my partner. Loads of pubs and places to eat within walking distance. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The property was great, if I had to give some constructive feedback it would be that the room was a tad dusty. I wasn’t bothered as we only needed a place to sleep for the night and I wasn’t expecting the Ritz for the price we paid. Also, we had the room directly linked to the reception area (G1) which made us giggle as the entrance was blocked by people’s suitcases being stored there and the mini hallway had a door directly next to ours that connected to reception which was a bit cosy and meant we had the window right at the front of the building on the ground floor… this wasn’t a problem, it was just a different vibe to what I imagined.

I stayed in a single bedroom of a bed without window. Level -1. The location of the hotel was perfect, near of 2 metro station, good restaurants and markets. The room was clean and the shower was perfect, although there was no hanger for the towels. The staff were nice and kind. I would stay there again if I don't find any cheapest place to stay.

The only concern was a strange orange stain on the carpet beside the bed, it seems that a guest poured food or something in the past.

Easy check in. Our flight was significantly delayed and we didn't arrive till near 1 in the morning but were greeted by friendly staff and it was no trouble. Bed was very comfy, I slept so well and it was also pretty quiet too. I'd have preferred to open a window instead of air con but realise it's a safety/noise thing and this wasn't a big issue just personal Preference. We only stayed two nights but we were given fresh towels second day and our bed was made. Room was very clean and location was excellent as it was so close to the subway. There are also some cute places for brunch within walking distance. We walked from the hotel through Hyde Park into the city which was an enjoyable alternative to the busy subways. Would stay again when visiting London. Area felt very safe and I would be happy staying here as a female solo traveller also.

A little noisy in morning with cleaning and people checking out but that's pretty standard in any hotel so it wouldn't put me off staying again. There were a few hairs on the towels when we arrived but these would have just been missed by housekeeping and again wasn't a big issue but might be more disturbing for other guests.
