Honesty, I booked it first and only after read the comments. And I was like: omg what have I done?! But you know what? IT'S NOT THAT BAD. What do you expect for 40 quid a night in central London? A presidential suit? Yes it's tiny, yes you can barely fit in the bathroom, but who cares it's only 40 GBP per night FOR YOUR OWN PRIVATE ROOM WITH YOUR OWN PRIVATE BATHROOM. I saw capsule hotels and shared rooms more expensive than this hotel in the area. It's clean, it's in an AMAZING location, Queensway Tube station like 7 min walk, Bayswater station like 5 min walk. Restaurants cafes supermarkets all super close. Hyde's park, Kensington palace all walking distance. So relax, it's fine, you'll be fine, at least for a short stay you will.

The room was the perfect location for me. Near all routes i needed on train and underground, all shops are close! The staff where friendly and the room had everything I needed. A fan, hair dryer, fridge, tv, kettle and tea etc. The value for the location was great!

I was a little worried about previous reviews but i neednt have worried. The bed was a little wonky but not sure if thats because of the floor so couldn't be helped. I slept ok anyway! Inface had a great straight 8 hours! The bathroom is small but how much room do I need?? ;-)

As a couple we stayed at the ND hotel in the beginning of April. The location was perfect, near the station, everything close, perfect. The room was clean but small, but what do you expect for this money. Yes it was a little bit tiny, a lot of background noise, but the bed was good, it was clean and that is the most important to us. little pillows that you could resolve with the other pillow and the blanket from the room. The staff was very friendly, clean room, perfect location. For the money that we spend you can’t complain. We really come back when we are in England.

I had room number 20 on the 2nd floor..the room/bathroom were clearly renovated and it was very cute and perfect with a tiny balcony. The room it’s small but for this price and this amazing location in London it’s common sense to be small. I am definitely looking forward to book it again for such a low price and one of the best neighbourhoods such as Paddington. My room was ready around 12 and they let me in even though the check in starts at 15:00

To be honest there wasn’t something that I didn’t like. I had live some issues with my deposit refund but I am sure it will be taken care of

Location was the best part of the hotel. Just a few minutes from Bayswater tube station. With the London weather, walking to Oxford Street for shopping (~30 mins) or Hyde Park (~15 mins) was an excellent option. Their front office guy who was available from 9a till 9p was also very friendly (welcoming me on arrival and at time of departure with a smile). I was very apprehensive, as after booking while looking at google reviews, I found that some guests had complained about bed bugs. However, I found the room to be very clean and no signs of any bugs. Thats why I am giving them a high rating.

Their staff handling emails need proper training in some basic courtesy. I tried to contacting them twice and both times they had an unpleasant response. Once telling them I might be a little later than 9pm while checking in and the curt reply, no you have to pay an extra GBP 30. Second time, while requesting if I could leave luggage (just one small bag) with them and again a curt reply, you have to pay an extra GBP 20 after 2pm. Normally, you find always find a favourable response while dealing with such requests. Even the hotel staff diplomatically reply while saying no (usually explaining why they are unable to extend this favour).

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel may be small, but it has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable visit. The rooms and common areas were spotless, and the atmosphere felt very welcoming. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything. The location is perfect — close to everything, yet quiet enough to relax. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The location is so good the room was so clean well laid out and had all the very basics you need with so many shops and food outlets next door, but it was the staff at the premises and even on phone, we had a slight misunderstanding with the shower on arrival but even at 11 pm the phone was answered straight away and sorted as it was just us making a simple mistake as the shower was supper hot and powerful. I am a londoner at heart and will always be returning to this firms properties. michael

Location is superb ! Great place very close to underground, bus stops, shops, bars and restaurants. Plus for bathroom in a room, coffee and tea set and huge TV. Very comfortable bed and pretty clean covers and room in general. Easy check out system.

Very small room but its a city centrum so i get it. A bit of a old smell and might be noisy for some people when you open the window. Worst part was an unprofessional handling of a messages before coming to a place. I have never seen personel responding to a messages with "you are not special, if you dont like it find something else" highly unprofessional.

The location is nice, comfortable, close to the city center, cafes, restaurants and shops are very close, two metro stations are very close, just a 2-minute walk, Arabic restaurants are nearby, the hotel receptionists speak Arabic for Arab tourists, they are kind and helpful. Tourist attractions are very close, between 1 km and 3 km for walking lovers

Proximity to where we wanted to be was perfect! Close to many restaurants, shops, launderette, and underground stations. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. They completed every request we had.

Definitely a budget room. It was extremely small (one double and one twin bed). The bathroom was the smallest I have seen. None of us could sit on the toilet properly (we had to sit sideways due to the wall in front of it). The shower was so small you have to put your hygiene products in the sink and turn the shower off and on when you need a new product. Although these things were annoying, we hit what we paid for. We needed a place to clean up and rest before going back out into the city.
