Location was good for our purpose of travel. What you see in the pictures is what you get. Basic but ok for the price.

They don’t have tv channels so you need to put YouTube or Netflix which is ok. But when you try to connect to WiFi the their services does not hold streaming so you’re left with a useless Tv. When asked at reception about WiFi they said: I don’t know what to tell you we can’t do nothing but you can use your phone as a hot spot. Basically: solve on your own. If you’re a tourist with a limited internet plan, better make yourself to the idea that you will not be able to watch tv.

Good location next to Hyde Park and underground stations with a few shops and places to eat. A decent price for what you get, especially in London. The room was comfortable & the staff were friendly and everything needed was provided. There was a power outage out of their control, and the front desk was informant, and the issue was solved quickly!

The bathroom could use some attention. The towel rail after the first night came off the wall & would not stay on, and the joint that held the shower pole up was almost about to fall off too. Another user stated TV issues & I must agree that the Internet would not connect for Netflix etc & the TV channels would not load with a continuous loading symbol on screen instead. We just used modile Netflix instead.

Location and staff are amazing. Very friendly and it’s so close and easy to get to in central London. They were so helpful and safely tagged and kept our luggage till we came back to officially check in. Staff is the best at the place. And the location is close to 2 tube stations and not that far from Paddington either. So many tube options to reach the place.

The room was a bit too small, and the window was in the bathroom. So to get fresh air you need to keep the bathroom door open. Not great. And difficult to live around with the double bed. That room was a bit too tight for booking a standard double room.

The staff! Kerrie, Maria, and Suresh was exceptional. Kerrie was helping us a lot with our luggages when we had to leave them a day earlier. She did not hesitate to help us at all and guided us really well. Maria was so helpful with our taxi booking and our short chit chat was so meaningful. Suresh was also really friendly and able to answer to all our questions during check in. Will definitely come back to this hotel during our next stay in London!

The property is located near the beautiful Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. It’s also budget friendly! It was nice they had USB ports in the wall for charging devices.

A bit cramped for two people, but functional to cut costs! I wish the double bed room had an extra few inches of room on either side of the bed. And a few smaller details could be improved such as having a place to put shampoo and conditioner in the shower. There is a fan provided in the room, but it still gets quite warm in the evening unless you open a window.

Very good experience at this hotel. All staff super friendly. I stayed on the top floor (I don't think there is an elevator) but it wasn't a problem for me. The photos I had seen looked like a larger room but they were deceiving, however the size of the room was not a problem. The location is a strong point as it is very close to several metro stations (3 different lines at the end of the street). Still close to the hotel is Hyde Park.

The bed/mattress tilted to one side, which was a little strange but didn't bother sleeping, but it would be good to check this situation.

Great location, safe area, and close to several tube stations. The beds and pillows were extremely comfy, and the rooms had all the basic facilities: toiletries, clean towels, hairdryer. We liked that an electric kettle, coffee, black tea and creamers were provided in each room. The bathroom was a bit worn but really clean. And the man at the reception was really helpful and polite, making us feel truly welcomed. Overall, this place is a great deal knowing the prices in London.

The rooms were located at the top floor without an elevator, and had quite steep and narrow stairs which might be a problem for elderly people. The bedding had been washed but had some stains. Also some stains on the walls and carpets, but that didn't bother us too much. The rooms were really warm, and the window frames in our room were broken, so we had to find a DIY solution to keep them open for ventilation. The power switches and outlets were oddly configured/spaced, thus it took us a while to understand which switch powers each device.

Very good location, walking distance to Hyde Park. Very close to Bayswater and Queensway stations. Friendly staff, reception is open 24hrs. Basic, clean room. It's so hard to find a decent budget hotel in London. This is a very good value of money if all you want a clean, private bathroom basic, good location hotel.

Walls are thin, I could hear the snorrings and conversations of the next rooms. If your legs are ok and have a small suitcase -which was my case- stairs are no problem. But I can't imagine carrying a big luggage there, very narrow stairs.

The staff was absolutely lovely! We unfortunately had an issue with our booking (not their fault) when we arrived at the hotel at almost 11 pm, but the lady at the reception desk was so helpful. While we were getting depressed looking for another hotel last minute, she actually worked out a deal with her manager so that we could stay there even though they were fully booked. Everyone was really nice and it seemed like they really cared about their guests having a good trip. Also, the hotel is really comfortable; we had no issues with the room, and the location is just perfect. You can do a fair bit on foot, and the train station is right around the corner. If you want to go to London for a weekend trip, this is a perfect hotel to stay at.

Great location, good value, friendly staff, clean, cozy and quirky..comfortable bed, in room instant coffee/kettle, brewed coffee in lobby, 24 hr front desk, quiet location just one block from all the ammeneties you could possibly need! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Just a few things to be aware of: no elevator, older building and the floors/stairs are a bit slanted/uneven (and no, it wasn't ALL due to my various sampling of fabulous local gin and tonics 😉), no air conditioning (but modern fan provided). Some expected items were missing (no shelf above sink, only one night light, room quite small hence limited luggage storage options) but these are not negative factors! Just minor inconveniences to be aware of, which are more than compensated for by the friendly staff, great location, good value, comfortable bed, great shower and excellent housekeeping/cleanliness! Just mind the crooked step 😁
