The actual space is much smaller than it appears in the photos, and the natural light is significantly less than what’s portrayed. Without turning on all the available lights, the room feels quite dark. The single window is small and cannot be opened, so the studio would be more accurately described as windowless rather than the bright, airy space shown in the listing.

The location was excellent, and the view from the room was amazing. The room had a warm, cozy interior that we really loved.

The only small downside was the laundry system. I had to install an app to make a payment, which was a bit inconvenient. Each wash cost £5 and each dry another £5, so it was £10 in total. The strange part was that even if you have exactly £5 left in your account, you can’t use it. You always need to have more than that amount to make a payment, which didn’t make much sense to me. Because of that, I still have £5 stuck in the app. It wasn’t a big issue, but it felt a little disappointing.

The property was clean, modern and in a good location in central London. The staff were friendly as well and they accepted our bags before check-in so that we could explore the city early.

The bathroom sink was very tiny and hard to use for washing up. The sink also did not have hot water so it was difficult to wash your face or take off makeup at the end of the day. The other is issue is there is a window in the room but they keep it locked so you are not allowed to open it.

Loved everything about it. I was surprised that it wasn't sold out already (not complaining at all). The location is amazing and very well-connected, with friendly staff and a café that features a coworking space. It looks exactly like the pictures and has all the basic amenities you would need. We were initially skeptical because it seemed too good to be true, especially for the price during the summer. However, we are so glad we found this spot; it checked all the boxes for a tourist in London. It's about five minutes away from St. Paul's Cathedral, with multiple tube and bus stations nearby. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!

Nothing much. It is worth noting that they do not offer daily cleaning services, but they will provide extra supplies or towels upon request, in case you need them, which was fine for us.

The location by St Paul’s and the Millennium Bridge is one of our favourite parts of London — close to all the main attractions yet surprisingly peaceful, even though it’s in a popular tourist area. Our room had fantastic views overlooking the river and The Globe Theatre, and the apartment-style layout with a living room, bedroom, and mini kitchen made it feel like a real home from home. It was the perfect space to unwind after a day exploring the city. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay, and having a café and restaurant on the ground floor made everything so convenient. We’ll definitely be staying here again next time we’re in London!

Location was great in that you walk out the front door to be right on the bank of the Thames - really nice. Functional Kitchenette. Nice but small bathroom with great shower.

We didn't pay for a room with a view and, though it was first floor, with just a fully frosted window, not much light and a funny sort of layout, it did feel a bit like being in a quirky basement. The corridor outside was painted either black or dark grey too with hardly any lighting which was very strange and added to the basement feel. Couch in the room was quirky but not comfortable. Kitchenette could have been a little cleaner but not dirty in any way. Room was very clean otherwise. Bathroom tiny but nice. My advice, yeah, stay there - for a London Accommodation at that price it is really good. However, pay the extra for a room with a view...

A fabulous choice when you want the independence of an AirBnB but the reliability of a hotel. We had the City Studio and it was perfect for a couple for 6 nights. Loved being able to make breakfast in the room and then head into the city. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was AMAZING. Also really loved having free laundry facilities as our entire trip is about two weeks long. The neighborhood itself isn’t the cutest, but you’re 5-10 minutes from multiple tube stops and right across the river from the Globe and the Tate. Also a 20 minute walk to Borough Market for fabulous food. We’d definitely stay here again!

The dryers are a little old and took several cycles to dry our clothing, but it’s also hard to complain about free laundry facilities.

It was a small but very comfortable single room apartment. There were no "hotel style" benefits (restaurants etc) but that really didn't matter. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was excellent. Blackfriars station was just down the embankment with St Pauls, Cannon Street and Mansion House not far away.

The only thing that caught us out was that Blackfriars Pier (which was close by) was only open peak times and not weekends and bank holidays - but that isn't the Locke's fault. Bankside Pier was just over the Millennium Bridge (also close) so no real issues.

We stayed 5 nights and was very comfortable here. It was really useful to have a small kitchen and a washer/dryer in the flat. After 3 weeks in Europe, we absolutely made this booking for the laundry! There are also a few grocery stores nearby for light breakfast items; the kitchen is well-equipped. We had no trouble getting on public transportation by foot from this hotel. We were able to travel all over the rest of the city by bus, Tube and National Rail. Locke by Broken Wharf is most convenient for visiting the Tate Modern or seeing a performance at Shakespeare's Globe. The walk across Millennium Bridge makes it easy! With sky high prices all over London, this accommodation is reasonable for a good location in the city.

The location is a little tricky for taxis or private cars to reach. Arriving late at night, we took a taxi from Liverpool Train Station which fortunately (according to our taxi driver), is the right direction to come from for motor cars. Otherwise, the route isn't as direct. Leaving was easier by day (even with luggage), we were able to walk with our suitcases to Blackfriars and took the Thameslink directly to St. Pancras for the Eurostar.

The location at Broken Wharf is great. The apartment/studio is nicely furnished, nice sized, bed was comfy. We absolutely appreciated having washer/dryer too. It was a great place to stay, and we would highly recommend it. The coffee shop located in the building is also very nice and provided a lot of extra space as well. All the staff were nice and were helpful.

We did not like the lighting or mirrors...too dim and lousy for putting on make-up or doing hair, checking your look etc. We definitely needed more dishes, two of each item for two people isn't enough. The coffee provided was not good. How about a little coffee machine and decent pods or something? Small things
