Great location, clean, good WIFI

The mattress is extremely soft/worn out - I got a sore back from it but I guess that's a matter of preference. There is no hair dryer although the room description says so. But that's ok because the shower's water pressure is so bad that washing your hair is impossible anyway.

I’ve stayed at the Smart chain before so I knew what t to expect. It’s good value for money, dorm beds with privacy curtains and a power outlet, reading light and large locker. Was nice to have an en-suite bathroom. This location is just a tad nicer than their Hyde Park Inn location, but that one is considerably closer to the tube stations. Room was quiet and window opened to let fresh air in.

The mattresses are a bit plasticky - no doubt to keep them in working order for longer but not the most comfortable. The dorm “pods” are also quite tight, would not recommend them at all for travellers 6 feet tall or over. The water in the shower wouldn’t become any warmer than lukewarm.

I had a very nice time, the reception staff is kind and caring, they helped me and made me feel comfortable and at ease. I had some very nice laughs with them! They solved a problem with my payment method in a few minutes, plus I was given free breakfast to make up to this small inconvenience. They offer a free service of luggage deposit if you arrive before check in time (14.00). I'll be back for sure!

My roommates were definitely rude but I take this chance to tell remind you all: if you are sleeping at a hostel you're basically selling your right to have a perfect peaceful night, everyone's doing his best to let others sleep but nobody can float or see in the dark, so don't be rude with other guests! Bed linen had some hair in it, could be better. The top bed of the bunk bed was definitely a bit too high to climb in the night if you're not fit enough 🤣

Although the room was small (size as description), it was very clean and comfortable. Clean good shower, bed clean and comfy, good quality TV, fan if needed, loads of plug sockets & usb, clean towels each day, kettle facilities. Reception staff pleasant & loads of info available. Breakfast (£6.50) basic but adequate. Close to Hyde Park and pub next door very nice. (Didn’t hear much noise from it). Close to tube. Good value for the money.

Corridor on 3rd floor very dark. Door closures make some doors a bit noisy. If you was staying longer than a couple of nights, there’s not much room for you clothes if you like to unpack.

I like the privacy the curtains provide. It had a lift, location was very good and toilets were very clean. It’s the first time I’ve stayed in this location and I loved it. Definitely coming back.

The chargers were not working properly. I couldn’t plug my phone to charge it and use it because my phone would crash. That’s not something I’ve ever experienced. And the lockers didn’t work. Apparently you need one specific kind of lock? Me and another traveler tired to make them work, but even with the locks you could still open them. Luckily nothing got stolen but only one locker could lock.

I really liked the whole place: the room was comfortable, the bed AMAZING, we had the tv in the room and the heating on everytime. They come clean the room EVERY DAY so everything was sparkling. The reception was on h24 and they were super gentle and cool to exlain everything. I also loved the room with the kitchen and the games. Also it was put near the Hyde park and in a road next to the central line and a lot of eating places so that in the evining you could stroll with a lot of other people without worry.

They didn't have a bidet but i mean, that's my problem to be european ahah and i managed without it anyway so it was cool all together

We absolutely loved our stay at Smart Hyde Park View! Everything was just perfect — the room was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping made sure it stayed that way every single day. The reception team were all super friendly and welcoming, especially the night shift staff were very helpful and went out of their way to assist us whenever we needed anything. The location couldn’t be better, just minutes away from the tube and bus stops, which made exploring London so easy. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in the city!

The area around the hotel is very nice, there are tube stations nearby with a bit over 7min walking distance. You have the option to leave your luggage before the check-in time. The breakfast has a good price. Bed is comfortable. The locker inside the room can hold a carry-on and a backpack, there's space for your things even if the room is fully occupied. The bathroom was very clean.

Humans. It was the first for me sharing a room and of course you find people who are very unconsidered of others, talking on the phone at 1am or check-in at midnight using a blow-dryer after the shower. Sleep was very difficult specially if you have light sleep. The room was very hot so they open the window and all the noise comes from the outside but nothing worse that having people in your room who don't respect the rest of the others.

The classic entrance. This is making it a part of old London rather than some modern eyesore. The location was very convenient. The room was a surprise. Really cute. Excellent care in restoring the antique windows with some original features staying. Bed comfy. Sheets crisp and clean. Well designed areas to spread out my cases. The tea station was generously supplied with real milk and real tea cups. Although I mistakenly reserved it as a dorm, it was interesting to be around so many young people. I was able to change to a private room.

Being the oldest person in the hotel was strange.

The facilities were fairly basic but clean, pleasant, and modern. We had a private room with ensuite. The room was a good size with a smart tv, and it was nice to have a view out the window that wasn't just a brick wall. Beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly. It was pretty much opposite Kensington Gardens, and a few minutes walk from cafes, restaurants, and tube station, so was in a convenient location too. It was really nice for the 1 night stay we had.

It was quite loud outside late at night as the hostel is next to a pub and opposite a couple of bars. There was nothing we could do about this noise, but luckily didn't last too long.
