The best location!

Terrible shower had that sprays water everywhere!

Great location, central but tucked away. Quiet, clean rooms. Good for solo business traveler. Nice breakfast & bar.

Location, friendly and welcome staff, very clean and well appointed room with an excellent coffee machine and lovely terrace.

Would have liked more toiletries, only 1 mini shower gel , 1 mini shampoo etc felt a little sparse but when I spoke to reception they provided more. Also I had to request an iron and ironing board in a 5 star hotel I would have expected them to come as standard.

It’s a beautiful hotel and is kept in pristine condition. The suite that we stayed in was very comfortable.

We chose this hotel as it is within walking distance of the theatre, which I imagine a lot of people do the same. On returning from the theatre we tried to book a meal from the in-room dining menu at 10.15 which was 15 minutes before the 10.30 cut off - despite repeated efforts we were unable to order any food and were informed that the chef finished at 10.30 and that we would have to settle for the snacks menu. This was later offered as complimentary. I will definitely stay at this hotel again but with the knowledge that the in-dining menu cut off is closer to 10 than 10.30 - I hope someone from the hotel reads this and adds in “last order time: 10.00pm”

Great location, wonderful professional and polite staff. Had a real feel of quality and luxury. Nicely decorated rooms with quality fixtures and fittings. Sumptuous towels, dressing gown and slippers. Top of the range coffee machine and well stocked mini bar. All in all an excellent experience.

Would have to be really nit picking to find fault. The only thing was that the pillows were a bit too soft for me but that's just a personal preference and im sure they would have either exchanged them or provided an extra pillow if asked.

The location is very good. Easily accessible to train & bus network. It is also within walking distance to great restaurants, parks and attractions. Our room was quite small but very nice and well appointed. It was clean and quiet. The staff were all very friendly and attentive to everything we required. Breakfast is a choice from continental and cooked menu. The cooked breakfast is freshly cooked to order and very good. Overall our stay was exceptional.

Beautiful building, nice lounge/bar, easy to check in, friendly staff, good bed, good shower, walking distance to Soho, Mayfair, St James Park, the Palace, Big Ben etc. Overall a lovely hotel to spend a few days when visiting West London!

Bathroom was a bit small and we’re generally not a fan of showers inside the bathtub (water splashes everywhere).

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The service was top-notch, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay truly memorable. The location is perfect – centrally situated with easy access to key attractions and amenities. I chose the hotel for it's central location as I had a number of business meetings in Mayfair but it is also perfect for a leisure trip and I will most definitely return. The room was beautiful overlooking the front of the hotel with seating in the bay window, but the bathroom was stunning with double basin, double ended quartz top bath and double doors from the bedroom. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service provided by the staff. Their attentiveness and genuine commitment to guest satisfaction were evident at every interaction. They anticipated my needs and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I required for a seamless and enjoyable stay. In summary, this hotel exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a smaller more personable hotel with the perfect blend of excellent service, a prime location, and a luxurious room. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning for another exceptional experience.

My second stay at the St James Hotel & Club and I received the same exceptional service from the staff at the hotel, I was given a room upgrade to a fabulous room with huge (and extremely comfortable) bed and dressing room. So often at hotels you aren't able to open windows to get fresh air so I was extremely pleased to be able to get fresh air in the room in the morning. Wonderful bathroom too with roll top bath and a shower with seat.

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Mayfair; such a great location yet still nice and quiet. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially those at the door who helped with our luggage and taxis. Our bedroom was small but cleverly designed, well-laid out and had everything we needed - the turndowns and balcony were a bonus!
