The location is excellent, across the street from a tube station, many cafes and restaurants around. The Singaporean restaurant in the hotel is excellent. The staff was ery attentive and helpful. Rooms were clean and well equipped the atmosphere is pleasant.

Beware of the smallest room the hotel offers, called the cosy room. It is not cosy but tiny, especially for a couple. The bed is smaller than queen and is set against the wall so if you are two, one of you has to climb in from the end of the bed. No bedside commode on either side and a tiny wash basin. Might be OK for a single person but definitely not for a couple. We stayed there one inconvenient night, then upgraded for 4 more night for the classic room, which was perfect.

The room was really nice, comfortable and spacious. Which is rare for London. And the staff was extremely friendly and accomodating.

Breakfast was OK, but understaffed and long queues to access the breakfast lounge every morning.

Beautiful entry salon, lovely service and doorman, fruit water. Super nice beds, many ammenities. Fantastic location. Interesting and playful wall decorations in good British taste.

The water knobs in the bathtub are difficult to close exactly, and the faucet does not protrude so you can't hear it drip. Almost flooded the bathroom inadvertently since drain was closed. I think it leads to much waste of water by others as well. Steep, half stair midway along corridor, hard to navigate when carrying things.

This is a gem of a hotel. It is extremely elegant and comfortable.

The room and hotel seemed so elegant and full of thoughtful details, I was surprised that i couldn’t get a cappuccino at breakfast. And I would have loved to have been able to order eggs - poached - rather than the scrambled or fried from the buffet. However, even as I type this, I realise how petty it sounds as we had a magnificent stay here, thank you

The location, across the road from an underground station and a taxi rank was excellent. It was only a short walk to Hyde Park, V & A and the Natural History Museum. Lots of restaurants and charming pubs nearby as well as a hotel bar that serves really top notch cocktails. The rooms were super clean, spacious (by London standards) and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Soundproofing was excellent - once you closed your door - the world was shut out. Staff were always courteous and well met - the concierges were knowledgeable and took the time necessary to give you the relevant information.

Plenty of hot water but sometimes you needed to run the taps for 3-4 mins for it to come through. The TV froze for about 20 seconds each hour. These were only very minor concerns and definitely not deal breakers.

The Bailey staff are among the best. They are helpful and so friendly. The breakfast was good and the dining facilities and bar were great. The reception area is beautiful and comfortable. There is cold flavored water always waiting for you.

We have stayed at the Baileys the last 3 or 4 times. I noticed our room this time was a little shabby. The small night stand next to the bed had drawers that didn't close well. The same could be said for the TV stand. The drawers didn't close well. We are not fussy people, and I normally don't say anything. However, the room didn't quite match the Bailey standard. Again, we were not unhappy just a little surprised.

We stayed for 13 nights and this hotel was fabulous, all of the staff we encountered were brilliant from the moment we arrived with all our luggage, to check in, bar and restaurant service. The room was a good size/layout, we managed to lay out two large suitcases and two carry ons and still plenty of space. We were on the fifth floor, decor was lovely in our room, , yes you get a bit of street noise but nothing too distracting. We liked how fresh water bottles.were provided daily. Bathroom was lovely and spacious. Location is tbe best, three tube lines at the station across the street which get you pretty much anywhere you need to go, and we also did the hop on off bus which has a stop right outside the station. Plenty of places to eat in the immediate area. Our faves were The Steakhouse on the corner behind the hotel and Ask Italian just inside the mall opposite Waitrose. Would we stay again - absolutely!

Bed was quiite a bit smaller than what we are used to and i found it quite hard but that is always a personal preference. Hair dryer - pretty pitiful especially for someone like my wife with longer hair, they could do with an upgrade.

Great hotel, cozy, felt very British. Would give 10 if it wasn't for some little things that bothered us.

To get hot water, you need to leave the tap of the sink running for a good 7-10 minutes. Also, there are no slippers in a hotel where the room is carpeted and people use shoes to walk on. Slippers are a must for hyginic purposes, not as a luxury. Third. Low lighting. Dim lighting is nice and romantic but not practical. Hotels should put practicality first. There should be a central light to see clearly. When packing your staff to check out, you can easily miss things in sucb low lighting conditions.

Often hotel rooms in cities like London are smaller than comparable rooms in the US. The Bailey's room was spacious with a sizable bathroom. Our favorite thing about The Bailey's was the location. The neighborhood was quieter than being in central London, but still had a number of shops and restaurants nearby. There was also an Underground station across the street with lines running to all of the major attractions.

Just a few slight nit-picks. It's an older building (no surprise) so there are some quirks. There was a half flight of stairs between the elevator and our floor; little inconvenient when carrying your luggage. The lifts are very small so if another party is using it you'll either be really cramped or need to wait for another. Again, minor things that didn't really impact our stay.

First of all the staff in the hotel is first rate. I love Gary, Magick, Nikki, Abdul! They went out of their way to help me and my mom. Truly a credit to your hotel. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious.

On the first floor we did hear a lot of noise from outside at local bars. Not your fault. The bathroom in 101 was incredibly small. The restaurant downstairs does not live up to your standards at all. The Asian food at night was so poor, as to be our worst meal in our 3 weeks here! Shockingly, No flavor!! Waste of money entirely. Honestly everything else was lovely about our stay!
