We arrived late which was no problem. They also stored our bags for us :-)

The size is actually so small that it is kind of hard to get dressed. And it defo had a London price tag...

The staff at this location (can't speak for the other zhotels) were very friendly and I felt did a lot to make my stay great. The connected hotel cafe were all friendly and helpful too. Pedro did a great job and even checked in on my credit card issue I was having the day I arrived, very thoughtful and kind. The rest of the team were also very friendly in discussing some sight seeing recommendations, definitely made my stay a lot better. Location wise and for the price it really doesn't get any better. I attended several theater shows in Covent Garden and it was a short 15 min walk back from that area. It's also situated within walking distance to many sight seeing areas. I didn't take the tube once to all the major attractions in central. Also, it is a 10 min walk to the Elizabeth line, so coming and going from Heathrow is a breeze. The area is quieter at night, which is great to get away from the mass touristy spots, and I didn't feel at all unsafe, it's a financial commercial area but there is also a school campus a block away and you'll see students from all hours of the day. I would consider staying here again if my main visit revolved around being in Central London.

The one thing that was a bit of a miss was the cleanliness of the bottle of waters in the hotel room and the kettle. There were visible stains in both and made me wonder when the last time they were cleaned or just refilled for every customer without cleaning. The glasses in the hotel were clean. I stayed on the top floor in the queen room with a view and although there were no noise from the hallway or other rooms, there was a lot of loud water noises in the walls and other mechanical sounds. If you are a light sleeper this would drive you crazy as it happened late in to the night.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel early on our check in day and to pick it up late on our departure day which was great. We also were able to take advantage of their free Wine and Cheese on the first day when we popped in to actually move into our room later in the day. It was a real treat and a lovely touch. They also have Water and fruit in the lobby and a great selection of Tea, Coffee and Hot Chocolate free in the room which was nice - considering the value of the room. The location on Fleet Street was surrounded by incredible architecture - the building itself is gorgeous too!

The property was well kept, accessible, easy to navigate as well as easy to navigate to. Cleaners could be seen on a daily basis which added to the clean impression of the hotel. I also like the logo design and hotel interior. My room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable, but the mattress is very firm. I prefer this, but I can imagine it can be a major letdown for some. It was very nice to have been provided not only tea and coffee in the room, but also a bottle of water. That was a pleasant surprise.

The only (minor) downside is that on each floor, there are a couple of steps remaining that lead to the corridors where the rooms are actually located. This can be slightly inconvenient when bringing heavy luggage, but I do believe the hotel has ramp-accessible rooms available as well. While the room was overall incredibly clean, I did find individual hairs in the bed and one in the bathroom.

Very cosy and super location. Bathroom was clean and well fitted. Bed was large and quite comfortable. Prefect for a couple nights stay especially when you don't plan to spend much time in the hotel. Working lift and accessible room which was needed but not asked for which was a huge bonus!

Staff could've been a little more inviting but they weren't unpleasant. Food was very expensive and we easily could've spent as much on food as the room for 2 nights which isn't great. the room seemed bigger in the photos but for 2 people it wasn't so bad but worth mentioning.

Great location hotel on Fleet Street, handy for the tube, and plenty of places to eat within just a few minutes. Staff welcome was incredibly friendly and helpful. Room very clean and well appointed despite its small size, perfect for my one night stay. I was given a free room upgrade from a room with a double bed and no window, to one with a queen sized bed and a window, which was a lovely touch.

The room was very small, but for the price in central London I can’t say that bothered me too much but the heating in the room didn’t work, and it was quite chilly. I could have complained and I’m confident I would have been moved or the problem resolved, but again it didn’t bother me that much, and I had a very comfortable sleep anyway.

The location was great. However, it is the service that was the best . We stayed there for three nights. On the second day the AC broke down and the place being quite hot, we needed it. When contacted the staff, she arrived immediately and found out that it needs repair. She readily offered us another room which we declined. The staff offered us a complementary breakfast. On the third day it was yet not resolved so they offered us a complimentary breakfast again. This is very good service and we appreciate it. The bed was comfy and the room was not at all noisy which we feared. The bathroom was clean and nice with MASSIVE towels. :)

Given the nature of the problem we had with the AC machine that could not be resolved, and how expensive the place was, I would have prefered if the hotel refunded us even a smaller percentage of the fee we had paid for the room. The complimentary breakfasts were a great gesture and we really appreciate it. However some refund would be nice. Would it be at all possible?

Great location, friendly staff, clean room, large bed. I was upgraded from a queen room without window to one with windows. I really liked the generous selection of drinks: 2 each of branded teabags, decaff tea, chamomile tea, coffee bags, instant decaffeinated coffee, hot chocolate, plus UHT milk and a bottle of water (probably tap water that was refillable). Good amount of liquid hand/body/hair wash and a soap bar. Large TV with many channels. Compact room as expected but the high ceilings and windows made it feel airy/larger. Plenty of hot water. Air con. Water and apples in the Reception. I had missed the detail about showing the payment card at check-in and I didn't have the physical card with me, but luckily they accepted showing the card in the app instead.

Even after switching off the air con unit there was a constant circulation fan sound (not sure if it was outside or inside) - I'm a light sleeper so had to use ear plugs. Otherwise I couldn't hear noise from other rooms or the corridors. Some of the furniture showed some signs of wear.

Brilliant central location, a pleasant walk to a lot of the attractions in the central London area. 24 hour bar/cafe at reception,very handy. Rooms were really quiet even though we were next to a busy bustling street. Bed was very comfortable ,lots of pillows available in the room. Bathroom was perfectly situated and there were plenty of toiletries and towels in the room.

Absolutely nothing, this hotel is really perfect for any type of London visits! So handy for local transport links and transfers from London airports!
