Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was ample and we had everything we needed, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, coffee, liquid soap, body wash and shampoo (no conditioner) and fresh towels (no washcloths though). No refrigerator or microwave but there are lots of places to eat and shop daily just a few feet away from the hotel. I wish it had a luggage rack so I didn’t have to set my suitcase on the floor. The bed was comfortable. The city view was especially nice. It was close to both the train and bus transportation. AC on the description means Air Circulation and not Air Conditioning like I thought. I would stay here again as we liked the location across from the park and it was easy to get around. It’s a bit dated but okay for a day or two or three.

WiFi could have been ways better. You have access but it’s sketchy at best. If you are relying on an internet connection and WiFi go to a local coffee shop or restaurant. AC = Air circulation not Air Conditioning

Large hotel in the centre of city. Idea for shopping and restaurant’s. Good modern fitted rooms with nice restaurant and bars. 80 Parking spaces on site with NPC parking next door should a parking space not be obtained.

Hotel parking arrangements have changed since my last stay and now parking is managed by Ringo. Therefore you have to download the app on arrival if you don’t already have it. £20 for 24 hours. Be aware however that you are downloading the right app I was caught out and redirected to an online gaming platform site believing it to be Ringo.

Level 5 Privilege room, slightly overlooking Piccadilly Gardens - however directly overlooking the restaurant extraction fans. Very roomy with a large TV & desk/chair for working. Small but comfy sofa for two. Large clean bathroom facilities, able to enjoy a relaxing bath in comfort with nice accessories. Super fluffy towels. We shared the hanging kebab and chips in the evening, sooo tasty & by far too filling for us!! Breakfast was extensive & very delicious, particularly the sausages & bacon. Great range of fruit, cereals, yoghurts baked goods too. Staff were very attentive and helpful, a credit to the team.

We would rather not have been directly above the restaurant extraction system. Surprisingly noisy even with the additional internal glazing.

The breakfast was lovely plenty of options and supplied vegetarian options. Room is a good size, plenty of room and comfy beds - good TV size, tea supplies and fan. The restaurant food and cocktails were great too!

Service was really slow on arrival, took over half an hour to get to room. Also in restaurant, took 20minutes for someone to come ask for orders when we had gone up a while before. Our drink orders had been forgotten, didn't receive until after our food. I'd have understood if busy, but it was quiet only about 5 tables with people and as many staff. Also lack of Aircon in the room, either it was broken or just very poor quality as room was hot - used fan throughout stay but this didn't do much.

Central location, 5 minutes from the Arndale Centre. Lots of choice for places to eat. Beds were comfortable, TV in room was a generous size. The staff on reception were very friendly. Car park on the first floor was great, really convenient.

The overall look of the inside of the hotel was great but some bits of the room looked a bit tired. At some point the bathroom had been painted including the tiles, this was noticeable round the sink where it was quite chipped off. The rubber on the shower screen was filthy, clearly hadn't been slid off to clean properly in a while. The water in the bathroom overshot the sink and would soak you if you didn't turn the tap on very tentatively.

The staff in this hotel made our whole experience after a mess around in VOCO hotel located down the road that had literally ruined the whole point of the trip the receptionists that were on were amazing and instantly lifted our mood. Considering that this hotel cost less to stay in and we had a upgraded room it was 1000 times better than VOCO, I HIGHLY recommend staying here for any occasion very well kept and staff that care about what they do, complimentary champagne before we had even booked in as I had to charge my phone to get online. Special Thankyou to raj on the front desk. Offering to take photos of me and my partner and happy to have a conversation he instantly made our night after walking into this hotel!

Everything at Mercure was Excellent, Was most pleased to find a dedicated Vape Area on the 1 st floor car park complete with seating and sheltered area, All clean and tidy. Most thoughtful. My visit to Manchester was a for a Concert which was cancelled at short notice, so spent the evening in vicinity of Mercure, The Irish Bar Molloys right opposite the Mercure had a great atmosphere.

I stayed in Manchester for a concert. It was cancelled at 5 mins notice. :-( The Road works/Tram repair works at the moment in the vicinity of the mercure are a nightmare if you are not used to city driving. I somehow got diverted in to a bus station area, Am expecting a fine :-(

Customer service was excellent. Managed to get a room upgrade arranged and a complimentary breakfast for one of the days as our room wasn't quite ready when we arrived. The location is excellent, right in the centre with parking available. Was here for pride so was a stones throw away from the village, but far enough away to avoid the noise.

It could have done with a little bit of modernization, especially in the bathrooms, the showers were very low. But it's just a minor thing really. The room was comfortable and clean so I had no complaints.

The location was excellent, the rooms were clean with everything you needed.

The cost of parking was extremely high, complicated. You paid per 24 hours, etc. We stayed there for around 29 hours, so we had to do a 24 hour, and when that ran out, we did a 10 hour. It would have been better to do by paying at the end of your stay, and it could work out the cost. I was there for an event, and it could have finished at an earlier time, so it would have been less. But £35 for the 29 hours was quite steep. The walls were quite thin, so I could hear the people next to us, talking.

Very nice, amazing location, facilities were great, room was super clean and the bed was ridiculously comfortable. We arrived earlier than the check in time of 3pm, I think around 11:30am and there was a room ready and we were able to check in early. We stayed for 1 night as we went to Manchester to go to the Soccer Aid for UNICEF match and it was in a fantastic location. Breakfast was wonderful, such a great set up and layout, food was amazing. Nothing was too much to ask at all and all food was fresh. Air con was also great and because you didn’t need to leave a keycard in for the lights or electrics we could set the room at the right temperature for when we returned.

Absolutely nothing.
