Breakfast (being included in price) was excellent. A real bonus these days. All staff encountered dutiful and friendly, but one called Adrian went out of his way to greet me of an evening, and enquire about my activities. So much appreciated by a solo traveller like me who has no one else to share one's experiences with. Parking was never a problem either, despite limited space.

Nothing hotel could change! Though it was a pity I could not have found great value accommodation like this more central to the lake district.

Room was clean and comfy with a beautiful sea view. Staff were friendly and chatty - offered to move us rooms when we mentioned that light in en suite wasn't working. Breakfast was lovely, plenty to choose from. Also had dinner here ( not included in the price) was on the expensive side but plentiful and tasty! Would happily stay again.

Light bulb in en suite wasn't working ( only light from the heater, which would've been fine if it hadn't been a warm day) they offered to change our room but we opted to keep the view. Bed was a bit too much on the firm side for both of us, slightly uncomfortable hips in the morning.

The breakfast was generous, hot and tasty. Good choices, including vegetarian options. Good range of evening meals, again, generous portion size. Friendly reception staff. Lovely hot ensuite shower

You should mention that there's no lift. The walls were a bit thin - I could hear the person in the next room talking. The bed I had was ultra firm, so I didn't get a fantastic night's sleep. But some people might find it to their taste. The hotel is a bit tired, but it didn't impair the stay.

Excellent Breakfast. Sets you up for the day. Ideal location for local transport & train station.

Was not advised as to when my room would be serviced for towels changing etc. Only when I asked at the reception for a change of towels was I informed that the rooms were serviced every alternate days. I would suggest that a notice be put in the rooms advising this.

Had a great stay, all staff were very friendly and provided great service from the room, to food, to the bar, to letting me in early hours of the morning, had a great stay was very good value for money and would stay again just for how nice the staff were.

The room itself wasn't anything special but still great value.

Hotel in good location with the harbour and marina just across the road, nice walks along the piers and sea front. Comfortable room with great view. Tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. Breakfast was very good. Staff friendly and helpful. We went to The Lifeboat Inn for our evening meal, just across the road, nice pub and good food.

The staff were all extremely friendly and informative. The breakfast choice was good and the service even better. You could almost have any combination of breakfast you wanted. The only thing I would change is the vegetarian sausages. The mushed up vegetables ones aren't a great breakfast sausage. A quorn sausage would've been better.

The staff was excellent, helpful and always welcoming . I had a roast dinner and the food was very tasty.

The full breakfast looked lovely but when tired to eat the black pudding couldn't get my fork into it as it was very hard and my egg was over cooked so not runny.

Lovely genuine warm welcome and excellent food! With Dinner and breakfast were excellent and beautifully prepared. Fish and chips outstanding!

Would have liked a bath. But that's me and a serious number of steps to the room! The bedroom was very clean and tidy, the mattress while clearly new was very uncomfortable as springs quite prominent. Ended up sleeping on the top of the duvet!

Sea views from some windows, overlooking Maryport Harbour and coastline. Well decorated and cosy. Quiet and peaceful in rooms. Staff were very friendly efficient and helpful. The breakfast was cooked to order and was excellent. We had dinner one evening and the food was delicious. There was a wide choice on the menu and a reasonable wine list . The cocktails were also good.
