I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The room was impeccably clean, and the location was perfect, right across the beach. The highlight was definitely the Dune restaurant - the dining experience was simply amazing. I can't wait to come back again!

While I had a generally pleasant stay, there are a few areas where the hotel could improve. Firstly, the reserved parking system seemed quite unorganized, causing some inconvenience. Secondly, the loud morning loading of beer barrels disturbed the tranquility of the place, and it would be great if this could be addressed. Lastly, the air conditioning in the room was a bit noisy and old, but they gave us a new, quieter one when we asked. These improvements would certainly enhance the overall guest experience.

Excellent location overlooking Fistral beach and the sea surf. There is a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Very comfortable Quiet and relaxing room, which was well equipped. The bed was big and comfortable. The leisure facilities were very good and easily accessed. The restaurant and bars were very comfortable and the service very good. There was good musical entertainment some evenings The breakfast selection was also very good. The staff were attentive, friendly and very helpful.

The hotel car park can be very crowded and difficult to access and egress. Not much can be done unless the number of spaces is reduced. The road outside is usually crowded with visiting vehicles making hotel parking there difficult. This, although inconvenient was not a major problem. The toilet flush took a long time to refill. This might not be an issue for some.

Rooms and ambiance are always great. The greeting at breakfast from Neil and Sarah is always fabulous - so nice that they speak to everyone individually, and make each guest feel valued and special. Nothing is too much trouble, and menu choices are easily accommodated!

I requested a copy of the VAT invoice to be emailed to me on check-out, this wasn't provided. I have then entered in to a round of emails and phone calls trying to obtain the correct invoices, as invoices for previous stays were sent to me intitially, and then for the incorrect prices - even when I shared the booking.com confirmation email showing the value (and a snip from my credit card statement!) the hotel is unable to send me a set of invoices that match the amount I was charged.

We stayed in the sea view Suite which was absolutely beautiful. The view was spectacular, the bed was lovely and the personal indoor hot tub with the same sea view was a beautiful touch! We even went for a hot stone massage in the spa which we thoroughly enjoyed. Its a short walk from the beach which was beautiful too and it helped that the weather was spectacular. The spa facilities with indoor pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna were absolutely lovely and well maintained. No shortage of towels, bathrobe or slippers! We chose the 2 course dinner and breakfast included option - Dinner - lamb, pork and beef were awesome but desserts were a tad disappointing. Breakfast - you had to pick items from a menu, so the amounts were limited, the buffet aspect only included yogurt, cereal, granola and fruit. The staff everywhere were simply lovely.

The restaurant was the only slightly disappointing aspect of our stay. They changed the menu recently, so it was different from the website- chicken main course was dry and too salty, in terms of dessert- pannacotta was bland and chocolate parfait was just awful.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the room was generously sized, with great facilities and very clean. The staff were very helpful and it felt as though they really cared about our comfort during the stay. The spa facilities including sauna, steam room and pool, as well as the gym facilities including group classes are included in the stay and the spa facilities were very clean. The breakfast was a cooked breakfast and very high standard. The bar was a great spot for some drinks and dinner, or even a cream tea during the day! Easy walk down to Fistral Beach and easy to access the coastal path as well. Can highly recommend this hotel and we will be back.

Hotel was lovely but very disappointed with the breakfast , the full English was not value for money

Understanding how the breakfast worked , we booked in and was told we could choose itemised breakfast but told to help ourselves to coffee juices and pastries and someone would come and take our order , we had a coffee juice and ordered a full English at £12.50 , however in other establishments £12.50 would be a large breakfast but this hotels breakfast considered of 1 bacon 1 sausage and egg a hash brown and tiny amount of beans . When we came to pay the bill we were charged the full £25 each !

Our room was really lovely and very clean. Extremely comfortable bed, staff were lovely and breakfast was varied and very enjoyable.

Evening menu selection in restaurant wasn’t great. Food not great either. Presentation was good but taste not so good. Sauces too powerful or too thin. Chunky chips cooked in dripping with truffle & Parmesan just a big fat no!! The burger we had was small and overcooked. The burger sauce too much and overpowering. Not sure quite what has gone wrong with the food in the evening but the chefs taste & taste buds are out of quilter. Needs a good rethink.

Lovely hotel in a great location overlooking Fistral Beach. Gorgeous sea views from the hotel. The bed was comfortable and there was a great selection of teas, coffees and biscuits in the room which were replenished daily. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and tables nicely laid out to give plenty of space. Bar also very good with a wide range of cocktails and staff were happy to take requests. spa treatments are also great value for money and free fitness classes are offered to guests. All staff were very friendly. The one very minor issue we had when a fuse tripped in our room and caused the lights to go out was resolved straight away. All in all, a wonderful bank holiday weekend spent here. Would love to come back in future and will happily recommend.

This hotel is in a fabulous location, it is so worth getting the sea view rooms as the view is stunning. The rooms are lovely and the the staff were friendly. The hotel is a very short walk from the beach (with some stairs) which was great.

We generally loved everything, the only thing we would say is that the bath/shower is really thin. When you are standing in the shower there is only a small part that is flat. It also had a shower curtain and our preference would be a door etc. The spa facilities are quite small but enjoyable at least once on your trip.

The bed was comfortable, room was spacious, and restaurant and bar were lovely. It was a great location. The staff were friendly. Food was okay, although quite pricey.

The whole shower curtain thing needs to really be replaced. It’s an awful design. It literally sticks to your body while you’re showering and if you push it out of the tub then water gets all over the floor. It’s so uncomfortable to shower with a shower curtain sticking to your body. The kettle had leftover water in it and it looked to be quite moldy. I’m glad I checked before trying to fill it up. Someone had left the windows open and there were a couple of giant horse flies in the room. Someone was smoking weed on the floor and the hallway smelt quite bad.
