I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The room was impeccably clean, and the location was perfect, right across the beach. The highlight was definitely the Dune restaurant - the dining experience was simply amazing. I can't wait to come back again!

While I had a generally pleasant stay, there are a few areas where the hotel could improve. Firstly, the reserved parking system seemed quite unorganized, causing some inconvenience. Secondly, the loud morning loading of beer barrels disturbed the tranquility of the place, and it would be great if this could be addressed. Lastly, the air conditioning in the room was a bit noisy and old, but they gave us a new, quieter one when we asked. These improvements would certainly enhance the overall guest experience.

Excellent location overlooking Fistral beach and the sea surf. There is a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Very comfortable Quiet and relaxing room, which was well equipped. The bed was big and comfortable. The leisure facilities were very good and easily accessed. The restaurant and bars were very comfortable and the service very good. There was good musical entertainment some evenings The breakfast selection was also very good. The staff were attentive, friendly and very helpful.

The hotel car park can be very crowded and difficult to access and egress. Not much can be done unless the number of spaces is reduced. The road outside is usually crowded with visiting vehicles making hotel parking there difficult. This, although inconvenient was not a major problem. The toilet flush took a long time to refill. This might not be an issue for some.

Hotel was lovely but very disappointed with the breakfast , the full English was not value for money

Understanding how the breakfast worked , we booked in and was told we could choose itemised breakfast but told to help ourselves to coffee juices and pastries and someone would come and take our order , we had a coffee juice and ordered a full English at £12.50 , however in other establishments £12.50 would be a large breakfast but this hotels breakfast considered of 1 bacon 1 sausage and egg a hash brown and tiny amount of beans . When we came to pay the bill we were charged the full £25 each !

The bed was comfortable, room was spacious, and restaurant and bar were lovely. It was a great location. The staff were friendly. Food was okay, although quite pricey.

The whole shower curtain thing needs to really be replaced. It’s an awful design. It literally sticks to your body while you’re showering and if you push it out of the tub then water gets all over the floor. It’s so uncomfortable to shower with a shower curtain sticking to your body. The kettle had leftover water in it and it looked to be quite moldy. I’m glad I checked before trying to fill it up. Someone had left the windows open and there were a couple of giant horse flies in the room. Someone was smoking weed on the floor and the hallway smelt quite bad.

We didn’t come to Fistral Beach hotel with high expectations, all we wanted was to be in a fantastic location with views of sea. I’m pleased to say we were absolutely blown away. The service from every member of staff was impeccable- everyone was friendly & chatty. No request was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and luxurious as possible. We were on the half board package with breakfast & a 2 course dinner included. The food at every meal was incredible. While maybe not the biggest portions, all ingredients were high quality and perfectly cooked which is preferable to a huge bog standard meal in my opinion. The freshly cooked bread and homemade cakes on the afternoon tea were delicious We can’t wait for our next stay at Fistral Beach, (maybe next time we’ll actually use the spa!) thank you to all of the staff for making it such a lovely experience.

Although we opted for an economy room due to us being out exploring most of the days, it was excellent and surprisingly large! It had a spacious bathroom and plenty of storage space in the bedroom area. Room cleaned well daily and fresh water and tea/coffee stocked up. The view from the hotel was beautiful. The cocktails in the bar were delicious and the staff were really friendly!

The only thing that I “disliked” was when we arrived we were asked to pay a deposit of £50 per night that I wasn’t aware of before checking in. This was fine as the money was just on hold and didn’t leave our account when we left due to no damages etc. but it may be quite off putting to other travellers especially if they have booked a 7 night trip.

The breakfast was versatile and tasty, with amazing views over Fistral beach. The location was really perfect to get away from the city; noting you're not in Newquay centre. The staff was superbly helpful, energetic, positive and serviceable during our stay and really was the cherry on top during the holiday period. The adult-only aspect definitely is a positive for a Christmas getaway in search of some rest & recovery!

The beds could be more comfortable, and some aspects of the hotel start to feel somewhat dated. As a positive, cleaning occurred regularly so it is more a quality & aesthetic point, broadly at expectation level for a 4*.

The view from the hotel including the lounge bar and restaurant are amazing. The spa area is nice and relaxing & we liked the opening hours from 6am to 11pm. The room was a good size. We managed to park for free at the hotel (we arrived at 3pm). The hotel is modern & clean. All of the staff were welcoming and friendly and that gave the hotel a really lovely vibe.

The room was a little on the warm side which we didn’t expect in April, we kept the window open all night and there was a bit of noise but not too bad. Breakfast - there was a great spread but the cooked breakfast (which is the only bit I can eat) was a bit small, literally one mushroom. So that was not great value for me but would be for you if you eat croissants/cereals etc. These are small points which did not distract from a lovely stay at a fab hotel.

staff were extremely friendly and hospitable, and with a nice variety of nationalities/origins. Spa was extremely clean and well stocked/maintained. Bar and restaurant were excellent and the highlight of the stay.

One morning, the beer delivery truck was very loud and noisy fairly early in the morning and woke us up throwing kegs onto the carpark, although we appreciate this isnt really within the hotel's control. And on the same day, a fire alarm test was performed and there was very little warning given regarding this, and it went on for long enough that we had to quickly leave the building as we were not sure if it was real or not.

Nice clean room

Bar staff were quite miserable. Looked like they didn’t want to be there. Lady on reception and cleaning staff very friendly. There was one man in the bar who looked like the manager he was very welcoming. Also couldn’t sit in the corner of the bar as one of the staff was sat there charging his phone after his shift. Just left his phone charging and was told by the barman that a member of staff was sitting there. Would have thought they would welcome guests to sit down not staff.
