We had the best room with the most amazing ocean view (room #18). The room was also clean and quiet. We slept with windows open and could only hear the waves. The interior of our room was modern/luxurious and well maintained. Lastly, the concierge was super friendly and helpful and she made us feel very welcome.

We would have loved to have a gym but given the rather small size of the hotel / lodge this probanly doesn't make sense from the point of view of the hotel. ...So we went for trail runs instead along the South West Coastal Path which is definitely worth a good training session.

This lodge is absolutely stunning. The view from the restaurant and our room was breath taking. The location is superb with plenty of parking and FREE charging for electric vehicles! Our room was stunning with a large picture window looking out over the ocean with Newquay to the right. The bed was huge, bathroom was massive with a bath and walk in shower and WC, twin sinks, lovely large soft towels. We ate in the Restaurant a couple of times in the evening and everyday for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and efficient but this is a popular location so it can get busy at times and there can be a wait for food but with a stunning view, outside areas and a massive bar to enjoy who cares about the wait! Time feels like it moves at a slower pace there, so embrace it and relax. The food was great, good sized portions and good value for money overall. I cant end this review without mentioning Dee on guest services/reception. Dee is an absolute gem, even when it was grey and misty some mornings she brought a ray of sunshine, she was always upbeat and welcoming, always had something positive to say with a great sense of humour and very helpful during our stay. Thank you to all at The Lewinnick Lodge. If we are ever back down in Newquay we would not hesitate in coming back.

There is nothing not to like at this property.

The most amazing view and hotel location. The room was perfect. Loved the huge bed and bathroom. The room upgrade was amazing. Thanks for fulfilling all our special requests and wishes! We liked the private parking. The sunset and sunrise views were amazing. The staff was extremely friendly. Thanks for all wonderful recommendations on what to see around our points of interest. This was truly unique. We would love to stay again in your property in the future.

The lift is slow. No coffee machine in the room but only water cooker.

Our stay at Lewinnick Lodge went beyond expectations. The receptionist, Helen, greeted us with such a warm welcome and was kind enough to show us our bedroom, delivered an abundance of knowledge about Newquay and even reserved us a dinner/breakfast table just incase we decided to dine in last minute. Our bedroom was beautifully designed with a spacious and comfortable bed with a walk in shower, bathtub and his & hers vanity. In addition, our partial sea view room had incredible views of the coast. Though our stay was a little windy and drizzly in the evening, it was idyllic for us to be in our cosy room, have a bath and watch some Saturday Night TV in bed to relax before a long drive home. Thank you so much to the team at Lewinnick Lodge who made our little staycation so memorable - we can’t wait to come again!

We had the most amazing experience here. The room was stunning, with a breathtaking view that made every morning feel special. I came to propose to my now-fiancé and chose a quiet cliffside just a short walk from the venue – it was absolutely perfect. The venue was also dog-friendly, which meant the world to us. Our pup was treated like royalty with his own bed, a ball, and plenty of treats. Small details like that really elevated the stay. The restaurant was lovely, the food was fantastic, and the sunsets were truly to die for – something out of a dream.

Absolutely everything from the warm and friendly welcome from Dee, to Izzy's awesome service in the restaurant, the fabulous food, the stunning room, the Emperor bed, the gorgeous shower, the superb choice of refreshments in the room, the fresh 'help yourself' milk, the fantastic choice of breakfasts, the visit from Sammy the Seagull to our window sill, the fantastic views - just everything!! The Lewinnick exceeded our expectations with added bows & whistles. We will be back.

Staff were friendly. The receptionist that checked us in was very friendly and helpful - being a local herself, she suggested great places for us to visit. Great location. Remote but not too far from shops. The cliffs had some amazing views too! With benches to sit and soak in the beauty of it all. Unbeatable views from superior ocean view bedroom

Would have highly appreciated air conditioning in my superior bedroom, the small fan we were supplied with was manageable for the weather we had. However, in the warmer temperatures, maybe not.

The location is fabulous. The staff are well trained, efficient and very friendly. The property is very well maintained and extremely clean! The room was huge and comfortable. The food was delicious in the restaurant. Service was excellent. Very relaxed environment.

There was nothing to actually dislike! However a small niggle was not having a mirror and socket in the dressing area where the hairdryer was kept. It was easily solved by moving the dryer to a socket by the window, but a socket/mirror addition to the vanity area would have been welcome. I didn’t relish getting on my knees to unplug the coffee machine to use the hairdryer and am not long sighted enough to see in the sink mirror whilst using it! 🤣 old age problem!

Location on unspoilt headland with magnificent views. Accommodation was very comfortable, quiet with exceptional sea views. Very pleasant reception staff. Food quality in the restaurant ( breakfast and dinner) was generally very good.

Service in the restaurant was ok but a little below the standards expected. There are a lot of walk in customers to the bar and restaurant, which is great for the business and demonstrates the attractiveness of the venue, but it is not conducive to a peaceful dining or drink experience. However, it provided lots of atmosphere and the place was vibrant.

We eat here often when in Cornwall. This was our first stay. We booked the superior ocean view room. stunning view over Fistral, massive window for views every which way. rooms are huge. extremely clean. coffee machine and bottled water. Fresh milk available. Huge sunken bath tub with complimentary bubble bath to sit in with Prosecco and look out to sea. The bed was quite lumpy and not so comfy however it was enormous with lovely crisp linen and great pillows. Room service was friendly and quick and nothing was too much trouble. Food was beautiful. Breakfast in room- no extra charge and we were shocked to find my boyfriend could have the eggs Benedict AND the pancakes Aswell as croissants! (Military man not just a piggy!!) Lena that checked us in and seemed to be on duty out ENTIRE stay was a gem. So warm and friendly and so helpful. Already booking our next stay!

Bed could be comfier. Rooms rather echoey. Could not turn the heat in the room down so had to sleep with window open… when next to the waves however, you let this go! Would have given 11/10 had the bed been comfier and the room temp lower!
